Doubt: A Change In Kai

*i stare out at the sea, my eyes still as blue as possible. i clutch the wound on my shoulder as i look out at the waves*
...fighting...to protect...protect what? the people that will just die in the next attack? this is nonsense
*as the blood begins to run down my arm, the seiun would quickly close the wound up*

*i sigh as i sit down, staring at the water, it slowly calming me*
why do these things happen? it doesn't make any sense
*i lay back and close my eyes. they were still blue, my mood was unchanged. it seemed as though i didn't care about anything*

Ayaka was walking along the beachy area, hair blowing in the wind as the coat-tails of her suit cracked and shivered in it. She saw someone lying down near the water...Kai? She walked over, bending over his laying-down form. "Ey, Kai. Why do you look so..." she paused. "Neutral?"

*i open my eyes, the dark blue color recognizing ayaka*

*i sigh*
what do you mean "neutral"?

Ayaka shrugged. "I dunno. You just do. Normally when I think theres something bothering you, you have some undisiplined emotion showing...Today you just look...Neutra...l"

*i close my eyes as i stretch*

" 'I don't know'? 'I just?' Come now, Kai, that's no explanation..." Ayaka said, laughing, as her cota-tails cracked like whips in the breeze.
