Becoming a SOLIDER

Maze stood atop the roof of a tall and very run down building appearing here after leaving Khrona's office. "Now then. If what I gathered from the book was true then all I have to do is think.." Maze would be talking about the information he gathered from that huge book Kupo carries around. He wasn't able to gather all the information from the book but he did learn some interesting things about this Soilder class. "Now then appear.." A bright flash of light would happen and in Maze's grip a sword would appear. The blade was black and the guard was gold....it look very magicy.

"So this is a Masamune sword. It feels strange to hold. I feel empowered yet in fear of what this sword can do." Maze would shift his eyes feel a strong force on it's way. In the distance a army of cerberus dogs made there way toward Maze. He had forgotten to keep his powers in check and it seemed to of drawn quite the crowd "Heh..well the book said I have to fight to get stronger. So what the hay..I get down from time to time." Maze would take off toward the incoming army the force of his take off crumbling the building from where he was standing as he jetted off toward the army.

The Cerberus monsters would snarl and snap their giant double mouths, foaming from them.



Out of nowhere, one would rush straight at Maze with great speed, spewing a Flame from its giant mouth under the first. The rest of the Cerberus monsters ran around the area, staring at Maze like wild dogs.

Maze would continue his launch path cocking his Masamune sword and swinging it toward the lone cerberus cutting it clean in half. Maze would now stand next to the corspes of the fallen cerberus yet completly surronded by them as well. Maze's body would glow only for a second and a flash of information poped into Maze's head. "Well I guess that's one down..Let's try this out...Brave Slash~!" Maze would slash his sword toward a group of Cerberus's sending a powerful shockwave towards them.

One of the Cerberuses... Being a little dumb... would ram itself straight into the blast, taking the attack head on. The others would climb up the back of the deceased Cerberus and launch themselves high into the air, some of them spewing their Flame directly down on the area Maze was in and the others simultaneously casting Firaga around his certain area, thus making multiple explosions surround him in a GIGANTIC wall and also try to explode him as well. More Cerberuses would also try to hide themselves in the flames and jump through to Strike Maze with their powerful claws and jaws.

Maze would surround himself in a shell of death energy as he started floating into the sky and then exploding causing a massive explosion of death energy that break threw the wall of fire around him and blast everything with in a 10 meter radius to dust that includes the cerberuses trying to slash him.

Just as more Cerberuses were coming in, there would be a beautiful, yet sinister laugh in the distance. Out of nowhere, there were the gleaming eyes of a snake... Or rather, a snake woman. A Lamia, who slithered onto the scene petting a Cerberus like it was a common house pet.



"What man has harmed my puppies?" She would ask rhetorically, ceasing the petting of her Cerberus. "You. Floating one. Is there a certain reason that you are eliminating my pets and not becoming their fodder?" She cleared her throat, opening a fan with her free hand and waving it elegantly.

Maze's body dimming down from glowing. "That's got to be at least 15 by now." Maze would then turn to the snake women. Noticing her very mature figure Maze got a noise bleed staring at her. "W..wow.." Maze shook his head snapping back to reality. "Oh ya...umm you 'pets' where attack me and I just defended myself miss."

The Lamia laughed, shaking her head "Well, of course they attacked you, silly boy... They're hungry. I'm sure your magical power and your flesh will be enough to sustain them for a few meals..." Her snake-like eyes would gleam, narrowing as they looked at him "... Don't you think...?" She would slither behind her Cerberuses, having 20 more guard her "My pets..." She would nonchalantly point at Maze "... Feast." At that word, the Cerberus pack would rush toward Maze, some leaping in the air to Strike him, some casting Firaga in his current position, some spewing their Flame from below...

The Lamia continued to wave her fan, having 3 Cerberus as her personal guards "And you don't think, after what I've just seen, I would let my boys go out without a little bit of an advantage, do you, boy~?" She would wink at him, then begin to use her Might and Curaga on them continuously, so if they were to get hurt by Maze, their wounds would heal almost instantly, and Might would increase their attacking power by double each time. The Lamia would chuckle to herself, having the 3 Cerberus around her keep watch.

With a blink of an eye maze would appear behind the snake women having used extreme speeds already cutting threw each one of her pets in half and dodging there attacks but with her magic active they would no doubt heal in a few moments. "I think I'm getting the hang of this Solider thing..." Maze smiled proud of himself.

The Lamia snickered "It's no use, love... My pets, they will have you. And if not them..." She licked her lips sexually "... Then surely, I will... Am I correct?" The Cerberuses would suddenly stop their attacks once she said that, still snarling and being healed back up. The Lamia would wave her hand around and release some magic, then wink at Maze "Come now... You don't have to be their fodder if you were to have fun with me..."

"I'm sorry...but I don't have time to play around with you." Maze's outline would began to shine a bright yellow as the blade of Maze's Masamune would be completely covered in the shining light. Maze started laughing feeling the overwhelming power flowing into him "Good bye. OMNISLASH~!!!" Maze would began a bombardment of lightspeed slashes toward the snake women slicing threw her flesh as if he was cutting the air. With his final blow Maze would swing his sword straight down the middle of the snake women's body causing an massive explosion blast at this close range it would completely destroying the Lamia extinguishing every single cell in her body. Maze would flick his sword off to his side tossing off all the snake women blood on his sword as the glowing ceased. Maze would glare into the eyes of the remaining Cerberuses. Maze's stare was cold and with there master died did this dogs really want to deal with Maze...

The Cerberuses, being a little bit... Dumb... would once again dash at Maze at a high speed...

BUT THEN, OUT OF NOWHERE, WHO DO WE SEE? Khronaman, here to save the day~! "... Having fun playing with the dogs, Maze?" Khrona would slash Misery, releasing a massive blast of his own Insanity soul energy to slash through and shatter the very existence of the Cerberuses, thus leaving the final 23 as souls/battles for Khrona, changing one of them into a puppet. (I HELP YOU, YOU HELP ME. HAHAHA.) Khrona would swiftly absorb them into his 2 weapons, snickering as what just happened. "So, Maze... How do you like the Soldier ability?"

"Oh hey it's Khrona. I got to tell ya these powers go beyond my expectations." Seeing Khrona here was a complete shock. What was he doing here? And what was with the new get up? "I'd take it you got a class change to huh?"

Khrona snickered "Yeeep. Got a few, actually. I've got some greeeaaat power right now... All resting in my hands... Heh heh heh..." Khrona would tip his hat, smiling quite devilishly. "Yeah, I was watching you kill those Cerberus monsters... and the cute little snake woman... I saw them all rushing here and I was like 'Well, I'd better follow them. Might be something interesting...' and wouldn't you know, there was! It was you, taking advantage of your new Soldier powers... heh. Good to see, ya know." Khrona would twirl his sword-cane-umbrella nonchalantly.

"You mean this whole time....you where just watching me instead of helping me? AHH~!" Maze leaped toward Khrona putting him in a headlock give him a nuggy. "Huh just wanna watch from the side lines right~!!!"

Khrona laughed, his head popping off after being given the headlock "Well, I figured that you wanted to gain and test some powers, which you did, right~?" Khrona's neck would stretch out and reattach his head "How much didja learn, huuuuh? How much powah ya got~?" Khrona tapped his cane-thing on the ground.

"W...well all of it pretty much. I've learned just about everything I can." Maze crossed his annoyed. He was suppose to be the guy with secret motives.

Khrona laughed heartily "REEAAALLY NOW? Wanna test that out~? Maybe you can get yourself your other 2 jobs! You did rush out of my office before Kupo told you that you could simultaneously have 2 more jobs..." Khrona snickered "Besides, with just wiping out those last 23 Cerberus, I have learned some stuff... As well..." Khrona began to twirl his sword cane once more...

"Ya sure. It's been a while since we spared anyway. But before we go at it I need to talk to Kupo again."

Khrona snickered "How did I know that you were going to say that? Heh. Alright, let's go." Khrona would turn, allowing his coat to shroud Maze, and in less than a second, they would be warping off to his office.
