Searching for a Cross

_Soifon chuckled she walked up to the piranha barrier and stabbed it with Suzembachi, placing a butterfly tattoo on the entire structure_

"Oh, the numbers mean nothing important, but every division of the Gotei 13 is important. And it matters not who you two are. You possess spiritual pressure, meaning you have a Zanpakuto, and for that Aeon, you must die."

_Soifon stabbed the shield another time spreading the venom of Suzembachi across the entire structure. The piranha would eventually collapse and burst into a Homonka leaving Aeon and Cross unguarded. With that done, Soifon Disappeared again using the same tactic, appearing behind Cross and Aeon using an afterimage on Aeon's part attempting to stab them in the same place again._

-=The ribbon from Seiryoku wraps around my neck as soon as any slight movement was performed. The ribbon being as strong as a blade would deflect the stab as I turn around and unleash a Crescent Locus. A kick going straight up that releasing a forceful wave of Chakra. The Chakra Blades now center themselves to my back side to assist in the protection of back assaults=-

*Cross on the other hand, saw this coming, he did a back bend way before she struck, if he had waited she wouldn't have been fast enough. With Soifon's idle body above him he squeezed the trigger of the Nightmare, millions of bullets came out in a spray fashion at Soifons body at point blank rage, they were chakra powered so they went a lot faster than last time. The bullets that clearly missed, dipped into portals and appeared behind that of the Soifon behind Aeon.*

"You two are entirely too slow..."

_The afterimage behind Aeon was eradicated, Soifon decided to step it up a bit this time around. The real her above Cross used Shunpo to affectively dodge the bullets in completion, she appeared to his side and attempted to kick him in the head with a swift strong Kick at point blank range in a handstand fashion while attempting to stab him with Suzembachi in his side_

-=4 of the Chakra Blade rush toward Soifon's arm in attempts to either get her to move or get her. All the while they fire powerful lazers of Chakra. The other 4 remain close to me.=-

*Cross fired an impact shot into the air which caused a recoil forcing him to the ground affectively dodging the kick and the Suzembachi stab. The Nightmare was a bad choice for it limited his movements, so he tossed the gun in the air for now.*

This is getting no where, this chick is too damn fast for any of us to lay a finger on.

*Cross then did a break dancing-esque movement, sweeping his legs from under him towards Soifon, Aeon was already on the attack, he was a valuable ally. He saw why Kham valued him so, but they would be overwhelmed at this rate*

_Soifon did a back-flip high in to the air, she got nicked by some of the lasers on the way up, but no major damage. While in the air she divided once again, into 15 perfect clones of herself. She decided to overwhelm them by speed this time around, they all looked exactly like her and converged on the group. 6, appearing around Cross while another 6 around that of Aeon, each with Suzembachi ready to strike. The others remained by the real Soifon_

-=The Chakra Blades as well as I would spin around, blocking any assault that was possible. Under this pressure I start to get irate.=-
Dammit! Dammit!!!! -=Sparks flicker in and out wildly, before gaining strength and lashing outward. My body seems to be like Lightning as I yell out. The Lightning lashing out from my now gets quicker and thicker and it picks up speed, whipping out widlly in the area. I make sure not to hit Cross with this technique=-

*Cross kept cool... he had too, he was on his feet by the time the clones we're summoned. He caught the Nightmare and transformed it into the Satan Claw while pulling out his other box weapon. He called it a battery box, and in it contained spare energy for him to absorb. He was glowing a bit blue now.*

"Okay... this isn't working"

*When the soifon's appeared Cross slammed his guns on the ground causing an epic burst of energy to fill the room and wipe everything out with his concussive power. Aeon would be immune because Cross willed it, all the while Cross was thinking of plan, no one landed a good hit on this bitch. Someone had too.*

_The explosion was indeed large, as a matter of fact all the clones got damaged and retreated to Soifon's side who, using shunpo, appeared a safe distance away from the massive explosion. She emerged from the smoke, all of her hand her clones were surrounded in some white spiritual energy. This was her incomplete Shunko, but this would be MORE than enough for these two._



"I am completely faster than the both of you. This is over."

_With that, all the clones disappeared, in an epic cry of power they all converged upon the two with Suzembachi attempting to poke them in different places all over the body, Soifon's overall speed and power has exponentially increased. Since they could barely dodge her before, they definitely cant do so now_

*Cross didn't even try and dodge, for he knew that dodging would let him miss this opprotuntity to attack Soifon, and possibly restrain her so that Aeon can land the final blow. Cross muttered something under his breath after the explosion happened, he was saying the names of his two pistols 'Murder and Lament'. With that, they transformed into two long white pistols. By the time soifon appeared around them Cross pulled the trigger.*



"You gotta give some to get somewhere...*

*He guarded the back of his neck, which was already marked, by concentrating all the remaining exerted energy in his body to that area while mile long eels surrounded in the lightning flame swirled around Soifon and her clones binding them together like cattle. These eels, when applied to the body restrain the foe and paralyze and smother any energy exerted by the foe on contact. Now all the Soifon clones were bound and would experience continuous jolts of electricty. Cross who was all marked up with Homonka turned to Aeon, this bitch had to die... now*

"Aeon... kill this bitch... now. Cut her head off or something."

-=I look to Cross greatly impressed by his power and skill. I call the Chakra Blades toward me and make them spin closely around Seiryoku like a drill of sorts. The spinning causing the ribbon of my blade to flap around in the air. I increase my Chakra input of my Blade . The force of the Chakra seems to be distorting the Chakra in the immediate area of the sword=-
DIE!! -=I thrust forward with Seiryoku similar to the Stinger. If the attack was succesful, the spinning Chakra Blade would start to release laser inside Soifon's body as well as drilling her body. If it misses well, I don't even want to think of Soifon's retaliation.=-

_The soifon clones were indeed stunned and pinned by the eels, they lay on the ground tied together by the odd looking eels that paralyzed them. They we're bound, but by no means paralyzed. The Shunko protected them from that fact, if Cross' synchro rate was a bit higher perhaps then it could've gave soifon some trouble. But Soifon decided to use Cross' tactic, she could always generate more clones anyway, for the real soifon was nowhere to be found. Aeon delivered the killing blow to the clones, however, while Aeon was doing this, the real Soifon had marked up Aeon all over with Homonka while he was delivering the killing blow as a well in between his movements as fast as can be. For every second that passed a poking blow was delivered with the homonka. Both Cross and Aeon could not keep up with her movements so this was very possible._

"You are all covered with my mark... if I touch you two anywhere then you shall die."

_She said as she appeared in between her foes. She was contemplating as to who she should kill first_

"For an ex Kage, Aeon Revorse... you are a tad rusty."

*Soifon was partly right, partly... Cross still had some trump cards up his sleeve, but if they we're fighting in a different place other than his lab then he could use them. The 'void shot' would do away with this chick easy as pie, but it would also do away with the entire lab. Cross' mind was racing at the possibilities... he couldn't hit her at the way he was. But... perhaps his future self could. He brought his left pistol to his head, for on lookers it looked like he was going to commit suicide, but in reality this gun was loaded wit the chrono trigger, which would cause him to switch places with him 10 years in the future*

"I'd rather kill my damn self then die by your hand..."

Shiiit. -=I flick Seiryoku as the Chakra Blade return to my back.=- I hate to admit it, but she's right. -=I turn to Cross to see the gun pointed to his head.=- Cross.....what are you doing?? -=I wonder what Cross is thinking, does he have a plan or is this really the end. Either way the situation is Grim. I could warp us and run...but this chick's so fast it probably wouldn't matter...and further we're marked up like hell..=-

_Soifon laughed at Cross who looked like he was legitimately about to commit suicide, is this truly how ninja function? She took a step forward, her body flickered as she appeared in front of Cross. Suzembachi primed and ready for the final blow to his heart_

"How pitiful, I won't give you the satisfaction of dying by your own hand."

*Cross thought she was going to say something along the lines of 'Fine by me' and let him pull the trigger. He had to have confidence in his future self that he had the power to beat this bitch. Once he pulled the trigger. Smoke filled the Area... Cross was gone, and a new figure took his place. A person in crimson clothes and his hair flowing, an eye patch covered his x-hair eye, and his energy out put was so strong that it began to destroy things in the area. He Caught soifon's hand with a straight face on similar to how Ichigo caught Grimjow. The future Cross' face was plain and stern... he was pissed for some reason*



"Must I clean up this mess?"

*The future Cross pulled the eye patch off of his eye revealing his new x-hair eye, it seemed to dispel Soifon's shunko. He tossed her up wards... Appearing above her and pistol whipped her to the ground with tremendous force. his guns looked new as well. The pistol whipping of the guns packed impact and a tremendous explosion of epic proportions, Soifon had to be critically injured or dead, for the explosion was large and much more powerful. Future Cross landed above her and looked at her with both his eyes.*

"Get up, you still have some fight in you..."

-=My eyes widen as I stare at the event that just took place...=-
What's happening? -=Cross was gone, replaced by this newer Cross.=-

_Impossible, somehow her shunko was neutralized!?! She lay on the floor bleeding heavily from the blow to the chest. She could not comprehend what was happening, but she should not have let Cross raise the gun to his head in the first place, she had enough time to kill him between his movements, and she would NOT make the same mistake next time. So many things were going through her head. This would not end here. Soifon exerted her shunko one last time she needed to make her escape... this combined with her outward spiritual pressure would hopefully force this older cross away while she flipped upwards and attempted to strike this cross with her leg to the chest_

*Cross took the kick but slid back a bit from the spiritual pressure and the shunko. His X-hair eye was fixated upon Soifon who still struggled to her feet. She was surprised she could still rise, but she was going slower than usual, and Cross would explain to her why. He kept talking as he pointed his guns towards her, he was going to end this threat and nip things in the bud*

"You're realizing that you are going slower, it's simple, my powes have evolved to such a high degree that I passively absorb potential and kinetic energy from the person I look at with my special eye which is how I neutralized your shunko and lessened the impact of your movements and can move faster than you can. I'll let you escape, for the current Cross has to defeat you himself."

*Cross shot Soifon in the leg, this bullet went faster than she could move or react because the energy routed to this bullet was her own energy absorbed from her spiritual pressure, the kick and the shunko. With his X-hair eye fixated upon soifon, he would experience a loss of energy as her potential and kinetic energy was being transfered to Cross.*

"Dont say impossible... because it is indeed possible."

_Soifon couldn't believe it, she attempted to wave her had in front of her face and catch the bullet but her movements were a bit sluggish, bullet pierced clean through her hand and slammed into her torso instead. She just couldnt believe it, without a slightlest hesitaion she was gone. A trail of blood leading towards her exit the Homonka tattoos left Aeon the moment she left the area. She would retreat, she would defeat Cross the next time, afterall she as only at a quarter of her strength..._

*Cross dusted his hands off and returned everything back to it's proper place, while he walked the lab began to restore itself. He had developed some degree of technopathy as well as his abilities in creased.*

"And that's that... Aeon, when I got back to the future the current me is going to flip his lid because I let her live. Tell him I said that he has to kill her his self okay?"

*Cross said, he didnt even look at Aeon for he was typing away at this computer, his old machine. He knew what the future brought, and it wasnt pretty but at least he could prepare his current self for the worse. He couldn't reveal much for it might jeopardize the future, but he revealed enough. Enough to make him stronger.... After he was finished typing, the future Cross looked upon the old lab with nostalgia... he missed his old lab.*

"I guess my time is up... You have any questions? Class is in session."

*Cross turned around to Aeon with his eyepatch on, he didnt want to drain the energy from an ally on accident which is why he keeps his eye covered. He crossed his arms and leaned against the computer in a badass way*

So you're from the future huh? -=I sheath my blade, and the Chakra Blades vanish as I tap my foot on the ground=- I don't we have time for a Q and A. Besides isn't there a law againt asscioating with those from the past. From the looks of it you are a fellow scientist, so you know that existing in the past could be potentially unstable. Unless -=My small inner nerd takes over for just a bit=- Is time travel stablized in the future??

*Cross always liked Aeon, one of the few people he ever associated with on a regular basis. But revealing to him that they would be really good comrades could jeopardize the flow of time and space. However, Cross could reveal to Aeon what is already known in greater detail. A loophole if you will. He pulled out a special bullet, within it lied chrono chakra and the power cosmic.*


"This bullet... allows the user to switch bodies with their self 10 years in the future, against the latters will. You and I were having a chat when I was pooffed here actually. The flow of time and space is relatively even, but I wont say much. The future isnt right... it never is, but this is a different kind of wrong you know. Just dont-

*And before he could finish his sentence, he was gone, the old cross returned in his place on the floor and returned to his computer keyboard.*

"Did he kill her?"
