Let's have a little battle, anyone?

After promptly exiting the Pit of Havoc, leaving her two sleeping weapons behind, Chroma immediately went to the battle room. She wanted someone... ANYONE to come and fight her so that she could test out her new 'stuff.' It was absolutely necessary.

_+Leia would be walking through the door of the battle room, her hands in her pockets and her mind seemingly elsewhere. She had been assigned to go to the battle room by Lord Death himself. He said it had something to do about her rapid rate of progression, and her speedy journey toward power. He told her she would be assigned to someone most formidable but she really didn't care either way. She had a rather distaste for fighting, seeing how it always makes her sleepy. She yawned as she walked inside, rubbing the sleepy from her eyes.+_

The moment Leia walked into the room, Chroma gave a very wide, toothy smile. It seemed to be rather insane.

"Yo~. It seems like you've been chosen to battle me, huh?"

This was innate mental power at work, for she was trying to become much like her father. She just happened to 'accidentally' read the mind of Leia to see just what she was doing here.

"Hmmm... Looking at your wavelength, seems like you've become real powerful real fast."

Chroma's insane smile started to turn into a dark grin, as now her eyes narrowed and became very grim looking. Signature smile of the family.

_+Leia would blink her eyes a few times, as her vision slowly began to clear itself up. As she came to, it was to her surprise that she would see the same little girl who happened to have the same exact wavelength as her. Her eyes would squint, not believing the conienceidence.+_

"Eh, you again?"

+_Leia eyes would flare white for a split second. She had used soul perception, gaining a visual of Chroma's soul among other things. She was quite powerful, especially for her size. However Leias training should no doubt pay off.+_

Chroma started to laugh under her breath... Even though it didn't seem like it, she was actually focusing very hard at the current moment... on Leia's mind.

".. Surprised to see me, I see... Seems as though you've gotten pretty strong in the short time we saw each other last. That's really something. You remind me of myself... Heh..."

Chroma's eyes started to become even more grim. Something was coming over her.

"... We've got some similar things about us, I can already tell... Our souls... Our motivation... Heh heh. You want to be a Death Scythe as soon as possible... So do I. You're trying to impress someone, aren't you... The Death Scythe, Tear? Cute.. I'm trying to impress my dear old dad..."

Chroma had also gotten the hang of using a small portion of her psychic power that she inherited from Khrona.. Though most of it was just looking into someone's mind. She had also used her Soul Perception on Leia to assess her soul... Hmm...

+_Hearing Chroma's words and hearing her spill her information Leia would blush slightly. She however would retain her relaxed demeanor. She would lean her head backward while yawning. She put her hands behind her head in an even more relaxed position as she responded to Chroma._+

"Oh yeah? Well what's your point squirt?"

+_She said looking down at Chroma. She was beginning to wonder how in the hell did she know this things?._+

"And I'm not trying to impress anyone. Don't have the patience for it, ya know?"

Shaking her head, Chroma laughed low to herself.

"Whatever you say... Hee. I bet you didn't know, but I'm a weapon, too... In fact..."

Black scythe blades jutted out of the backs of her hands/forearms, just like her mother, Misery did.

"... A scythe. Just like you. Hee."

But what she didn't know was that Chroma was actually 3 other weapons as well, due to her lineage... In addition to being a scythe, she was a sword, explosive launcher and razor blade. Though, because Leia was a scythe, Chroma wished to see who was the better scythe weapon here... Which is another reason why Chroma left her weapons at home. She didn't have a much experience at fighting using her own weapon form as Leia did... But even still, Chroma had an advantage, regardless... Heh.

+_This caught Leia's attention,, if nothing else. In all her time in Shibusen, she had never seen another scythe. She was always the outkast, but it reallly didn't bother her. Her brow would rise along with her interest._+

"Well isn't this something?"

+_She said as she brought her hands down from her head to her pockets, smirking slightly. +_

"I usually don't find fighting enjoyable.."

Chroma's face started to become less dark and grim, and along with that, her pose changed as well. It seemed a little less menacing and a little more inept.

"Oh... Usually? Well does that mean that you're going to find fighting me enjoyable?"

"Actually no.."

+_She said as she began blew the hair from her face. _+

"I was just letting your know that I won't have fun doing this. If you change my mind is to be announced. "

+_She said not finding interest in Chroma, but not quite sure if she's worth the trouble._+

Chroma was shocked, but then her face became gloomy.

"... Aw... That's no fun..."

With the same quickness in which she became gloomy, her face gained a sense of determination and anger on it, and the scythe blades got larger.

"Hmph. I'll just have to show you a grand old time, then, huh?"

With no more words said, Chroma's wings expanded, creating a small, but oddly powerful wind, and she would flap them, launching herself at Leia quite swiftly. Once she was close, she aimed high at her torso and low at her legs, delivering a sort of cross-chop to the two.

+_Leia's eyes would slit, her jacket would flutter wildly in the air. Suddenly, Chroma would appear in her face, her blades extended. Leia would shoot her hands from her pockets, as she brought up her knee to meet her elbow, extending her blades simultaneously. She would clash her blades with Chroma, ending in a giant slicing shockwave. She would exchange a stare with Chroma before she would parry her away. She would crack her neck before clenching her left fist. Her right hand would still be in her pocket._+

"Self Resonance."

_+She said, her while she amplified her soul wavelength and then return it to herself. She then amplified it again and so on, focusing her wavelength throughout her body and had it flow to and from her own soul to amplify itself, making it all the more powerful by the second. Leia's soul would begin to swell as she watched Chroma. Her eyes began to glow a blazing white.+_

Being parried away, Chroma was forced slightly into the air, her eyes narrowing and her face becoming dark and grim.

"Really... You shouldn't take so much time time with that... it leaves you looking real ripe.."

Chroma would say in a blur, now back in Leia's face. Though the moment she was in front of Leia, she was behind her. It would seem Chroma's speed in the air was very swift. She delivered another sort of cross-chop attack, though this time if she were parried, scythe blades would jut from her sides and from her back and arc over to cut Leia. It didn't seem like Leia could fly. A clear advantage for Chroma, but she questioned if she should abuse it or not.

+_Leia would see all of chroma's movements via soul perception and wouldn't worry. Once her soul Wavelength was swollen to a point of Leia's satisfaction, it would conveniently be the exact same time Chroma attempted to attack her. At the point of contact, Leia's body would become wispy, using her Death's Angel attack. This would allow Chroma to phase right through Leia, as if she was never there. Once she phased through, she would be positioned right infront of Leia, in mid attack. Leia would extend both her hands at breakneck speeds._+

"Double Soul Menace.."

+_She jutted her palms forward staticing with white electical soul energies, utilizing the soul menace attack with both her palms. Her swollen soul wavelength would prove to make this a most deadly attack. Chroma being in the position she was would have made it all the more difficult to avoid, not to mention the speed at which she did the attack.+_

Before Chroma even realized it, she would have been launched by the Double Soul Menace attack, being shot all the way over to the wall. But, even while being launched over there, Chroma smiled, as if she hadn't just been launched. She hit the wall feet first, allowing her to jump back off of it, leaving a large crater in the wall.

Once she was close, Chroma said "I dare you to try that again...."

And with her blade extended, said also "Dark Scythe..." And with a gleam of her scythe, she slashed at Leia once more, really hopeful that this one connected.

+_Leia would simply side step, allowing Chroma to zip right on pass her. She put her hands back in her pockets and caused the blade in her forearm to jut back inside of her. Once she whizzed by Leia, she would release a whistle of awe._+

"You're pretty fast, no?"

+_She said snickering to herself. Chroma was attack a little to sparatic to land a hit on Leia. Her lazy and witheld fighting style would prove to be the perfect counter for a wild berserk. Her eyes were still glowing a blazing white. Her hands crackling with soul energies in her pockets._+

Chroma sneered, her eyes dimming even further, giving her a rather insane and berserk look on her face. She swiftly turned back around and dashed at Leia once more at a high speed.

"... Don't... move..."

Moments before actually getting close to Leia like before, Chroma touched the ground with her hands, abruptly stopping where she was in the air. All of her momentum, her speed... just stopped right there in that moment. Under her darkened eyes was a smile of thick and erratic proportions. The words curled from her lips and slithered through her teeth what could be heard as...

"... Blade Tsunami."

From behind Leia, an innumerable amount of scythe blades surging with Chroma's wavelength came at her from behind, in the same wave-like fashion of a tsunami. The scythe blades aimed to cut off all of her movement and keep her from going anywhere, while the wavelength would keep her from dodging the attack in her wispy form. Chroma always finds a way to make things a plus... just like her dear ol' dad. Chroma was staring intensely at Leia now... Something about her insanity wasn't right, however.

+_Leia would look at the soul of Chroma, and notice the amount of aggression it was building up. She turned her head to notice the ENORMOUS amount of scythes heading her way. They seemed to cover every inch, and thus preventing any thought of escape. _+

"Well, this isn't good."

+_She said, still as lax and lazy as before. Her hands didn't seem to leave her pockets as the tsunami seemingly crashed down upon her. There was no virtual escape for her to take. But Leia was indeed a crafty cookie. +_

At the downfall of the scythes, just to ensure of Leia's capture, Chroma would send her wavelength shooting all across the ground for cautionary purposes. After that was over, the scythes would retract as if they never even existed... All except the ones that were originally jutting from her body.

Chroma stood on her guard, very much aware of her surroundings at this time... She looked directly at the ground... unblinking... as if she were waiting...

"You won't hit me like that.."

+_Leia said appearing behind Chroma, a fair enough distance away. What had she done? Why she had used her Soul Shift technique. This allowed her to instantly move her soul (being) to the location of any person she had recently soul percepted. The person she chose to recreate herself around was Tear. Once she felt the attack was over (Soul Feedback) she would Soul Shift herself back to Chroma. Leia would be digging her in her ear._+

"But I'm sure you've come to that realization."

+_She said sighing as she flicked ear wax from her fingers. She placed her hand back in her pockets as scythes appeared on her ankles. They stretched all the way to the back of her knees. They were glowing with soul energy. She was also using her Soul Wavelength to combat Chroma's if it were to effect her from the ground. It seemed as if Leia was ready to go on the offensive. She slowly walked toward Chroma while she spoke.+_

Chroma's eyes became less insane, and now more serious looking. That berserk phase was over now... Chroma turned around slightly, clenching her fist, then opening her hand again, raising the blade to her face.

"... Yeah. I was waiting for you to come back."

Chroma then completely turned all the way around, walking just as slowly as Leia was.

"... Guess we're gonna do it right, this time, huh?"

Chroma brought both of the blades on the backs of her hands together, then scraped them across each other, letting out a shrill SHING sound which resonated through the room. Chroma's wavelength would be sucked back into her body through the floor once this was done.

"So. Here I am."

+_Leia would smile as she brought her hands from her pockets and to her sides.+_

"That's more a'like it."

+_She cracked her knuckles by clenching her fists. She then beckoned her forward.+_

Chroma smirked once more, still having the grim and insane properties, but more controlled... Showing the same seriousness as before mixed into it. She started off jogging at Leia before quickly flapping her wings and launching herself slightly into the air, a leg outstretched for a dropkick of epic power and proportions.

In addition to the power of said dropkick, her wavelength seemed to be flowing through her foot at the same time, and she was going in for a powerful Soul Menace strike through the dropkick. Her hands remained guarding her torso and face, however, as the scythe blades extending from them would be able to block any swift attacks Leia could deal.

+_Leia eyes would sparkle with it's blazing white intensity. After cracking her knuckles achroma would appear point blank and she had to react fast. She had shot her hand up to meet the incoming axe kick, soul percepting that Chroma was intiating a soul menace attack. She was quite adept with the attack, and simply matched her with Soul menace of her own. However, the intensity of the kick was more then she expected even with soul perception. This would force Leia into the ground, forming a small crater around her, her hand not actually touching Chroma's foot(actually being like a few inches away), but the electrical like struggle between the two's soul menace would be more than apparent. Leia's face was slightly more serious than normal, looking much like her avatar. Her other hand would crackle with white intensity as she brought it to the picture as well. She would attempt to clash with Chroma's foot with yet another soul menace (double soul menace). This would cause the crater she was in to triple in size if she connected. This would hopefully send her flying while dealing soul damage if everything connected. Leia would pursuit her, using soul shift, to appear behind her dealing a scythe axe kick of her own...if she was indeed sent flying.+_

Naturally, Chroma, due to her lineage, could match the wavelength of Leia, as well. Even though she would use two Soul Menaces, that didn't mean that her wavelength changed at all, and as such, they would still be in the same position... But that's where Chroma had her. With a wide smile on her face, she would say to Leia,

"... You may be able to match one wavelength..."

Just then, Chroma's foot started to surge with another wavelength that seemed to be quite intense...

"But unlike most, I have TWO!!"

That being said, Chroma would complete her kick with devastating power, due to the help of the Soul Menace. This should have launched Leia directly into the ground, but also have done a lot more damage to her because of Chroma's Life Wavelength, which was the one she was using for that specific attack... Being the complete opposite of Leia's soul would result in a greater power than it would be if it simply didn't match, and because Leia had already fully matched Chroma's Death Soul Wavelength, there was no way to stop it.

Chroma leapt back, having a hand extended at Leia, which would seem to be glowing with soul energy and crackling with Chroma's wavelength. She would be ready for a quick attack if Leia were to get up.
