Training in the Shinigami Arts

*Restu would be standing in the middle of a large open field with his Zanpaktou Touketsu Hara sheathed in his wast. Retsu had been feeling massive amount of strange energy constantly around Vescrutia and the last few months and he only knew that is was similar to the type of energy he produced when using Touketsu Hara. Retsu was hopping to learn more about his Zanpaktou and these abilities used by those known as shinigami who also use Zanpaktou. Retsu had sent a mental message to Mahk-x not asking for training from him knowing how busy he can be but for someone to help him understand these shinigami abilities.*

*Out of the shadows between the blades of grass on the field melded Atra who slowly materialized out of the ground heaving a heavy ass sigh of boredom already*

"He knows I hate training people, so why does he ask me to do it? I dont even have a damn zanpa-"

*With Atra fully materialized he turned around and noticed that he wasn't alone, the dude who he was supposed to train was here already. Whatever, he didn't care. He shrugged and walked towards them, it was retsu that guy who he beat a month or two ago who tried to freeze his nuts off, Atra walked towards him with his hand extended, his ring hand... the sun ring shone brightly in the sun*

"HEY! Don't mind anything that I said... totally false."

*Retsu quickly noticed and recognized Atra with only a simple glace. Retsu also over heard his statement hearing he was the one sent by Mahk-x to help train Retsu with his abilities in the shinigami arts. Although once hearing Atra's second statement after being notice would only cause Retsu to simply sigh.*

"So Atra-san the Boss sent you to help in my training?"

*Atra's hand was still extended for a handshake, as he neared Retsu. His shadow became alive and became Des'Noir who stood aloof from everyone else. He scratched his head with his other hand while sighing again*

"Yeah... the 'Boss', I wont be calling him that in the positive context ever in life. You can tell him that."

*He looked over his shoulder at Des'Noir who shrugged, little did everyone know that Des'Noir does NOT think on his down so any actions that Des'Noir does are Atras instant thoughts. So its as if he's talking to himself on a daily basis. It keeps Atra sane... but he turned back around and flipped his hair out of his face with his hands extended for the hand shake, he was really trying to be nice*

"Let's this started..."

*Restu would shake Atra's hand hesitating at first because whenever there is a handshake involved with the Weapon X Mafia Famiglia it never ended well.-

"Don't worry everyone has there own opinion of other so I don't care how you think of the Boss. So where shall we begin Atra-san."

*Naturally, as soon as Atra's hand was shaken Retsu was caught in a shadow possession nothing lethal, just the first lesson of fighting with a shinigami... never go for the obvious.*

"You failed the first tests... one, never shake my hand. It connects our shadows, and two your a ninja you should be in constant observation gathering information and adapting to it. Training started as soon as I summoned my shadow, a mere hand shake after we already met obviously contained something lethal. When fighting a shinigami never fall for the obvious, they have a lot of weird powers. Which is why I'm not getting involved."

*With that, Atra awayed his ties to Retsu's shadow letting him move freely again. And summoned his war glaives to his hands while going over something in his head, he was in deep thought*

"Now that I've gotten a taste of your chakras and your spiritual energy.. I noticed that your spiritual pressure can freeze ones chakra network if you are in the range of it for too long as well as freeze the movement of spirit particles rendering the victim unable to use spirit based energy attacks much like the rain flame. Or you may have not known that... I can see the potential of certain shit too whether if you have or havent unlocked it"

*Retsu would not show it but he was super annoyed since he did not listen to his better judgment about the handshake. Retsu would then stand and listen to Atra's explanation about the properties of Retsu chakra and spiritual energy. While hearing his spiritual pressure could freeze ones chakra network Retsu would think back to a few battles where Retsu was able to freeze some chakra based attack with little to know problem.*

"Well from what I can tell I have somewhat unlocked it but don't have completely control over my spiritual pressure."

"Figures... That's why you're here"

*Atra shrugged nonchalantly... then let his war glaives fall out of his hands landing on a stool made of shadow of sorts. He was thinking of where to begin.*

"Okay, unleash your physical spiritual pressure..."

*Retsu would simply nod as he would slightly clench his fist as he would grip his Zanpaktou with his other hand. Suddenly a fair amount of Retsu's spiritual pressure would surge out of his body and would be felt around a good portion of the area. As Retsu's spiritual pressure was flowing around the area the ground under Retsu would begin to ice over and the temperature around the area in general would begin to slowly drop. Retsu would stand as he waited for further instructions from Atra the area's temperature would continue to lower as the grass around the area would show sings of frost forming on them.*

*Atra looked around the area displeased, all it did was make stuff cold. Nothing special he had to find some way to make this spiritual pressure so potent that it already would begin to wear down the chakra systems of whoever was in range, but they would have to be closer to retsu before that happened. We can start slow*

"Eh, I've seen this all before... Use your Ice Chakra, with that of the reiatsu. I know you're doing that now. But you need to fuse it with every bit of reishi (spirit particles).

*Atra lit his sun flame ring to prevent his chakra network from slowing. The sun flame being the most awesome of all the flames has many uses*

*Retsu would listen to what Atra would say about mixing his ability with reishi which from what Retsu knew was all around the area in place full of spiritual energy. Retsu would lift his hand from his zanpakuto and would hold it out in front of him as his reiatsu would begin to flux around the area. Retsu would compare the reishi around the area to that of water vapor and would then take a deep breath and would breath out a large amount of mist that would cover the area. The grass around Retsu would then stop moving and would completely freeze from the inside out and would shatter into snow like bits of spiritual pressure. Atra while using his Sun Flame could also feel his own chakra trying to slow down and freeze up even though his Sun Flame would stop this from happening.*

"Yeah... that's about right. Now how long can you keep this up, minutes? Hours?"

*Atra turned around in the midst of the spiritual pressure and sat down, exerting physical reiatsu was no walk in the park. It severly strains the body if kept up for long periods of time. Atra layed down on the frozen ground and watched the clouds. His favorite past time*

"Well lets find out Atra-san."

*Retsu would cross his arms and would wait until his body would be unable to continue to release spiritual pressure around the area and just completely give out. Due to his training with Jace a while back Retsu could keep up his chakra for almost a month. Although since releasing his spiritual pressure did put a greater strain on his body Retsu would not be able to hold it up for a month. So Retsu for the most part could keep his spiritual pressure up for maybe 3 or 4 hours so all Retsu could so was wait while constantly keeping his spiritual pressure fluxuating though out the area. Although it could be seen that doing this was already putting a lot of stress on Retsu's body.*

*Atra during all this time took a nap amidst Retsu's spiritual pressure, letting the wind flop his hair to and fro and watching the sun and the clouds go by. It didn't matter how long Retsu could keep up his pressure if it did not accomplish the task of shutting down atras chakra system. Which obviously, since Atra isnt dead or comatose, didn't happen. Atra rose and dusted himself off and looked at the tired Retsu*

"So... you failed, and your spiritual pressure is sub par. Now we have to strengthen it. My chakra isnt in the least bit frozen and you kept it up for a measly 4-5 hours. That wasnt even a full nap."
