A word with Lord Death...

Maruze quickly entered the Death Room, the soul of his daughter in hand. He walked direction up the the podium with a stern look.

"... Lord Death... I have returned... And I need a favor."

Shinigami turned around to see a face he hadn't seen in quite some time...

"Oh? Is that really you.... Maruze?"

It was a shocker. Shinigami thought that he was long gone... But it would seem that his soul was powerful enough to survive whatever it had been through. That is good to know.

"Well, yes, Maruze-kun? What is it you need from me?"

Maruze sighed, showing Shinigami the soul.

".. I need my beloved daughter's soul... to be changed into my weapon. That is her will, to be my blade, and I cannot deny her that wish. Can you help us, Shinigami-sama?"

He held out his sword, which he just bought from the Bukigura. Hopefully, it could be used...

Shinigami examined the soul, then the sword...

"Hmmmm... we need a witch's soul for this to happen..."

Shinigami pulled out a soul that looked very old and decrepit.

"This is the soul of a witch I killed many years ago... The last witch soul I have. I will be willing to give it to you, Maruze-kun."

A pot would appear and Shinigami dropped the soul into the pot, making it start to boil..

"Now melt down your weapon and put in the soul of your daughter..."

Maruze nodded, making another sword.

"Sword Magic: Fire Sword."

He slashed the bare sword, causing it to melt inside of the pot. Maruze then quickly threw in the soul of his daughter and after that, he waited to see what would happen, dissipating the sword he had.

There would be a powerful reaction, causing a small explosion. All of the liquid in there would form into a solid object... A solid being... This being was a sword, however. The sword was the same as Maruze's original sword that he bought, looking literally no different from before.

"... There she is, Maruze-kun."

Maruze would grab the sword, suddenly able to feel a soul inside... It was a bond instantly... The family bond.

"Mmmm... It is good to have to back, Meo..."

But a little while after he picked her up, she started to shine. She started to take the form of a human right in front of Maruze's eyes... It was amazing. And finally, she changed completely... Maruze was stunned.

"M... Meo!?"



Meo looked up at him, rubbing her eyes. "Mmm... I have... a body?"

Maruze couldn't help but hug her, starting to tear up. "I am very sorry, Meo, for what I did to you so many years ago... It is so good to have my daughter in my arms again..."

He looked at her, noticing that she had... grown.

"... Even as a soul, you still aged? That... doesn't make any sense.

Meo: Don't judge me, daddy. I'm 17.

Maruze: 17!? You've been dead for ten years?! Mmm... That is such a long time...

Maruze looked up to Shinigami "Thank you, Lord Death... your blessings are too much..." He stood up, grabbing Meo's hand and left.

Shinigami nodded "All's well that ends well, huh~? Good luck to you then, Maruze-kun and Meo-chan. I expect big things from the two of you... Especially with your skill, Maruze-kun."

As they walked off, Shinigami could only say "Awwwwww."
