A Return To The Forest

_+LEia stood in the midst of the forest with her hands in her pockets awaiting any monster and ghouls whom soul she would snatch. THe rain would be beating down on her head, drenching her accordingly. Leia sneezed every now and again, rubbing her nose of sniffles, accidently getting the residue of her sickness on her jacket; to her dismay of course.+_

"...Ew.."

Taking easy note of the woman in the area, a slightly shining light could be seen in the distance. It came closer and closer, eventually making its way through the trees. It looked as if it were a sparkling, floating, mystical, semi-aquatic creature, almost resembling some sort of mythical manta ray.



It was not very large, being probably only between 2 and 3 feet, and floated elegantly above the ground, staring at the girl with mystical eyes. It was the Haizhe.

_+Leia would divert her attention from her arm to the creature. She had sneezed again, she had sniffed afterward as she extended her hand toward the creature. This caused a multitude of scythe blade to preutrude from her arm. she waved her arm toward the beast as a shockwave of slicing soul energy went in pursuit of the creature, looking to slice it in half. However, this was more of a decoy.

What's more was Leia's following move. SHe planned to "Soul Shift" to the next position of the creature. No doubt she would catch it off guard with overwhelaming) speed, as she would attempt to strike it with enough force to erupt the area with slicing soul energies, blades pretruding from every inch of her. Leia's actions being even more hostile due to the rain.. she hated getting sick._+

The Haizhe, upon being attacked with the scythes, would use its signature ability of the Distortion Wave right off the bat, causing a massive wave of purely distorted space to be omitted from it in all directions, seeming to stop the scythe blades in their tracks. In addition to this, the Soul Energy released from Leia would also be distorted and shattered, as if it had never existed in this world at all. If Leia were near this wave of distortion, she would be caught in its traumatic power as well, most likely messing with her mind, wavelength and soul. It was a mystical beast with mystical powers, which could already be seen.

+_Upon seeing what the creature could so, and how easily it handled his attack, Leia would rethink her plan of attack. She would look in a small shock and disappointment, as it seemed as if she wasn't getting any stronger at all.+_

"Tch. Bet you're worth a hefty amount aren't yah?"

+_She said sarcastically as she took a fighting stance. Blades protruding from her arms and calves. She watched diligently for any sudden movements of the creature._+

The Haizhe started to omit a sound from itself. It was a very angelic, yet mystical and ominous melody. It started to float gracefully upward into the sky, only a little further. It was sparkling and glowing a bit brighter than it had been before, now concentrating a powerful wave of sound from itself directly at Leia, which was another deadly move it had, the Sonic Wave. The sound was of an incredibly high frequency and pitch, the vibrations rumbling the very ground under Leia. Being within this wave of sound for more than a minute long would definitely cause her eardrums to burst and her brain to melt.

"Tch.."

+_Leia had evaded the wave, via soul shifting. She reappeared below it, falling toward the ground with her fingers pointed at in the form of a gun. She began emitting concentrated blast of soul energy, incorporated with her death wavelength. The blast, even if blocked would fill the beast with what Leia liked to call, "the sensation of death", were it would begin to fill it's life force being sucked away, as it's will to go on would soon diminish. She popped them off like a machine gun._+

Because the Haizhe was not all that fast, it would indeed be shot numerous times by the bullets of soul energy, beginning to feel its life energy erode. However, to combat this, it would use its Distortion Wave once again, which would not only shatter any of the Soul Energy bullets that came its way, but also cure it of any ailments to its body. Therefore, it would purge itself of Leia's 'sensation of death' and become perfectly fine.

After that, it began to glow again. From around the area, water started to form very quickly. The water would come out like a tidal wave, trying to totally consume Leia from all angles, as it was very pressurized and dense. This was the Haizhe using Waterga. It would also cast Absorb into the Waterga so that if Leia were to touch it in any way, her life energy would be leeched out of her and into the Haizhe, which would be used for what it had lost before of its energy.

+_Leia looked on all sides of her and noticed that water was crashing down on her, and that this beast must have gained the access from all of the rain. She really hated rain. But she had a thought, that she would test later. She would use soul shift yet again, the force of her "teleportation", would cause the waves to pend around where her body was as she appeared above the beast falling toward it, he fingers glowing intenly with white static like soul energy._+

"I fucking hate getting wet.."

+_She said, firing from her finger tips the death cannon. The intensity of this blast could rubble a mountain, and the power and heat coming from it would reduce that rubble to ash. She intended to blast this thing to hell, using even more of her Death Soul, hopefully making this creature experience insta-death, but it was far fetched. What was special about this attack was the way it was fired. Not like a bomb, but like a streaming explosion, concentrated on a single thing. If it missed, it would hit the ground and explode, covering the area with it;'s remnants.+_

With the Haizhe's mystical power, it could feel the presence of Leia as she came toward it in that form, preparing itself for any attack she may deliver to it via the use of Mighty Guard. This would protect it from both physical and non-physical attacks to an extent, lessening the power of the Death Cannon greatly, even if it was hit. It would explode, being launched across the forest, but quickly regained composure in the air. It could feel its life force was getting weaker from that attack, knowing that it was poisoned with some sort of impure element... With a cast of Distortion Wave, it would nullify the effects of the Death Soul throughout its body once more, however because it had been hit by it, it was very weak now. It averted its attention from Leia, starting to latch onto trees, using Absorb to drain the life out of the trees and back into itself. It would repeat the process until it was back to full capacity... or until Leia attacked again.

+_The creature would soon find that the trees themselves had also fallen victim to the effects of Leia's death soul. They were withered and dying themselves and so the beast would obtain no nutrients from the trees. Leia would land, her body protruding with scythe blades from all over her back and arms. She was now completely soaked by the eternal rain. The frustration this creature was causing was shown on her face. Leia's death soul tainted the entire area. She began to slowly walk toward the creature..thirsty for it's soul._+

The Haizhe was weak without the ability to drain nutrients from other living things, however it was slowly regaining power thanks to the rain, since it absorbed the water element naturally to heal itself. Feeling a little bit rejuvenated, the Haizhe would float over to Leia just as slowly as she walk toward it, it pulsating with its Distortion Wave. Seemed like after a while, the two forces were going to clash and the stronger of the two would hit the other one to cause a lot of damage. It was only a matter of time.

_+Once Leia got close enough, her hand would begin to crackle with silver and white energies. She held it above her head and it began to encompass her hand._+

"Soul Menace.."

_+She said, lightly. She then dropped her hand slowly on the beast as the her soul menace began attack everything in the immediate area. This was because her death soul was everywhere within the area, tainting it with her essence. Everything in the area, the ground, the tree, and even the rain, began to be vaporized. Everything was illuminated in the white flash of death, including the creature. Hopefully it would be vaporized as well, leaving it's soul for the taking. No doubt, Leia's death soul being everywhere in the area was strong enough to fight if not overwhelm the creatures weak distortion wave._+

With the Haizhe already weakened, even if it tried to use the Distortion Wave, it wouldn't be as powerful as it had been before, therefore it would lose this battle. It would be vaporized by the Soul Menace throughout the area, causing it to leave its soul behind. It was worth about 5 souls.

+_Leia would palm the soul, sqiushing it between her fingers. This was how she measured how strong a soul was and how much it was worth. She scowled._+

"You weren't worth my time."

+_She said as she devoured the soul, swallowing it whole without having to chew it. She felt the power coarse through her veins. Afterwhich, she sneezed. She was drenched and now cold. She buttoned up her jacket and put her hood on. She grasped her self in an attempt to stay warm._+

"I fucking hate the rain."

Once the battle was over, Leia was not out of the doghouse just yet... Two hungry Coeurls were looking at her from either side in the distance, Seemed as though she hadn't noticed them yet... They were circling around her slowly, electricity sparkling between their whiskers..

+_After defeating the creature she would begin to walk around the forest, trying to find her way out. She obviously catching a cold of some sorts, as she entered a sneezing fit. Sneeze after sneeze, as she wandered helpless like through the forest. _+

"Come on now Leia. Where the fuck did you come in from?"

+_Her voice was muffled, as she covered her face with the collar of her jacket. She was still clasping herself in her own grip in attempts to warm herself up. She was looking around, at everything in the forest, looking for any familiar landmarks, or anything that looks like an exit.-+

As Leia aimlessly walked around, 4 creatures would appear before her.

The first would be a tomato looking thing in a convict suit, large fangs jutting from its smiling mouth. It was a Deadly Nightshade.



The second would be an incredibly angry looking plant thing with a drill coming out of the back of its head and wearing a jacket with the collar pulled up like some 50's punk. It was the Alraune.



The third creature was another plant with a pumpkin for a head, its eyes blank and its mouth wide open as if it were dumb. Its stare was horrifying. It was the Pumpkin Head.



And finally, in front of the 3 plants would be something of equal height, but not of the same race. It was a small bunny with a large, fluffy tail and odd, feather-like ears. It was the Dreamhare.



Each of the creatures stood there looking at her. They didn't seem to start moving at all, but only stared...


Now, in addition to them, the Coeurls started to attack now. They weren't paying attention to the 4 little things, but on Leia. They leapt at her, each firing off a Thundara from their whiskers, which released a multitude of lightning bolts right at Leia's position. They dashed at her with the speed of a cheetah.

+_Leia would be walking around until she was caught off guard by the 4 creatures. She would be startled before releasing a sigh of relief._+

"I don't suppose any of you know the way out of this fucker, neh?"

+_They all stared at her blankly, not giving her a response._+

"...didn't think so.."

+_She said sarcastically. Suddenly, there was something amiss. Something breached Leia's soul feedback radius, a technique she mastered to a point that she can hav it forever active. She knew not who they or what they were, but according to their soul readings, they were hostile. Once they shot their respective attacks, their souls would telegraph to Leia their strikes, and what's more, the beat way to deal with them. This was the degree in which she master soul feedback.

She then pivoted around, at lightning speeds, her left hand extended before turning into scythes blade( visual aid in spoiler) she traced the blade with herbsoyl wavelength, as she slices the lightning bolts, and the rain for the matter. This would cause the bolts of death, to be sliced into a thousand different pieces before they dispersed into nothingness. This was the power of her death soul.+_

"Thought I was in the blue.."

+_She said, her voice still muffled by the collar of her jacket, which she covered her face with. She then put her hand back in her pockets, reverting her arm back to normal. She glanced over at the four creatures, as she had sliced the lightning bolt a certain way that they wouldn't be compromised. She then looked back at the creatures.+_

"Don't suppose you guys are her because you wanna escort me out safely?"

Immediately after Leia finished talking, the Deadly Nightshade ran off in an arbitrary direction, leaving the other 3 behind. Whether Leia decided to follow was up to her. It didn't look like it was running from the danger of the situation, however...

The Coeurls were a bit stunned that she got rid of the attack so easily, but animal instinct combined with their intelligence made them realize that they needed to try another element... Since electricity didn't work from the start. One of them started to surge with a big of magic... dark magic, in fact. It would use its Shadow Blow, which not only allowed it to attack Leia's shadow directly... But allowed it to summon, control and create shadows on the ground to attack her violently. Naturally, the shadows swarmed like flies around Leia and attempted to rend her flesh with their shadowy bases.

The second Coeurl noticed the attack that Leia did better than the first one did, so it would use its ability Reveal to see just how she used her attack... It could then see her death wavelength surging throughout the area, and where it stopped at. It would have to keep the distance. But, being in the wild for so long and being around a lot of magic made it pick up on a few things... This thing surging around her wasn't too hard to get rid of. It would use its Screech attack to create a super powered sound wave capable of disrupting Leia's wavelength as well as her mind if she were to hear it, causing her to be disoriented. It was supporting the other Coeurls by trying to debilitate Leia to keep her from escaping the shadows.

The other 3 creatures ran away now because of the largeness of the attacks, not wanting to get hit.

+_Leia, although she may not look it, she was always on guard and forever on her toes. And with her soul perception active, it gave her a pretty damn good advantage. Leia's prowess with soul perception/feedback was unreal, and could be argued to be one of the best. Once the creatures even thought about their plan of attack, they telegraphed it to Leia, and she found out the best way to handle the situation.+_

"I guess not.."

_+She said while she retracted her blades and clasped her hands together. This caused her to become engulfed in her dark wavelength, which took the image of a black, foggy, shadowy substance. A unique sound was heard before the sphere surrounding Leia solidified. It looked like the eyes of a fly, gridded completely with octagons. Once the shadow ball reached Leia, it phased though? How in the hell? The shadow flies suffered the same fate. The sphere gave off no shadow of it's own..as if it wasn't even there..

As for the screeching sound, Leia's wavelength was spread and surging throughout the entire area. Although, The attack indeed rumbled her, it would take more to completely throw her off than one creature whose soul probably isn't even worth a handful.-+

".."

+_Leia didn't speak, as she had to maintain concentration, that would could be lost thanks to the annoying ass screech. The sphere that encompasses her bubbled, as from it emerged 10 beings, all of which looked like a black, foggy, wispy clone of Leia. They seemed to be connected to the sphere as they stretched from it, leaving a thread connected to them from the sphere. Th clones move at speeds unreal, and they planned to overwhelm with power,skill, and numbers. Each one of the clones had blades emitting from every inch of their beings as thy zoomed to the creatures in attempts to slaughter them. Appearing to where they are, and where their souls said they were going to be.+_

The Coeurls were on par with speed as the clones seemed to be, but because of the power of Leia's wavelength, it would seem as though that if they were touched by one of the clones, they would be done in rather swiftly. And there were a lot. Luckily, Coeurls were cat-like creatures and had the heightened senses of cats... Thus making this a bit easier than it would be. But they couldn't attack Leia the way she was... Though the one realized that the Screech had an effect on her, even if slightly. If they used this constantly, perhaps they could nullify that barrier and get her all ruffled up, as well...

Each Coeurl jumped out of the way of the attacks, using natural instinct and cat reflexes to dodge all of the oncoming Leia's. Even with Leia's speed, the Coeurls were remarkable and agile. As they dodged, they omitted the terrible Screech from their mouths aimed directly at Leia and her clones once more, this time trying to intensify the power of it so that the sphere would be taken down by the attacks constantly weakening it with their sounds.

-+Leia snickered. The creatures were fathoms more agile and swift than most others she had faced before. They ducked dodged, weaving in-between the clones and their onslaught. However, even with their evolved animal insticts, they seemed as if they overlooked the threads. While they "safely" bobbed and weaved, they were actually becoming entangled in the threads that were connected by the clones. Once they formulated the idea to do a concentrated screech attack, Leia would high jump from the dome. Dodging the attack and causing the dome to shatter.

Once she was in the air, Leia clenched her fists. This would cause all the clones to correspond, and trap and entangle the creatures. Once they did this, a blackish web would appear around the area the creatures were fighting. While they were entangled, they would suffer the effects of Leia's death soul, suffocating any hopes they had of escaping.-+

"Soul Menace.."

+_Leia said quietly while she landed. This would cause the creatures to suffer the effects of her soul menace, by it traveling down the threads, even from the clones, amplifying the damage. The attack was so intense it lit up everything in the forest with a blackish light. This was the power of her soul menace.+_

With no escape, the Coeurls were made quick work of thanks to the Death Soul, leaving their own 2 souls to be consumed by Leia, being worth 1 each. This is when the 4 little aminal things came back. But after seeing Leia attack, they spread out and ran away again... They were scared again.

+_Leia grabbed the souls and sighed. The annoying rain was forcing her hair over her face. She ate the souls and sneezed afterward. It seemed as if she caught a cold. She then saw the little fur balls and snickered after sighing out of relief._+

"It's alright guys..it's saf-.."

+_She said as they began to run away. She then got up and started to follow them again after grunting._+

"Come on now.."

+_She said grasping herself and following behind them, tracking them via soul perception.+_
