Finally, taking up this mission... Where are you, Kill Bell?

Chroma had just finished eating and resting up from her 3 days in the Trinity Plane, and now she was back and feeling more powerful than ever. She had a look of determination on her face, for she wanted to collect Kill Bell's soul as quickly as possible... She was so close to becoming a Death Scythe... And she wanted to fight Leia before she did become a Death Scythe, anyway. But it was always nice to get some souls out of the way before a good battle.

Anyway, she went through to the Condos and used her Life Vision to see where there were any signs of life... She could see Kill Bell's life essence being omitted from a strange, tall building in the distance. Now that she knew where he was, let's assess his soul.. Soul Feedback... Soul Perception... His soul was pretty hefty. He should be worth a good sum. Chroma licked her lips and twirled the little spiked thing on her hat around.

"Hee~... Delicious~!"

She spread her wings and flapped hard, sending her directly at the building he was at.

"Kiiiill Koooon Kaaaan Kooooon... The bell tolls for thee, Kill Bell!"

She hoped that he heard, for she was ready to fight.. Badly.

At the top of the condo building, the gigantic, grotesque man turned around hearing the imitation of a bell ringing. His white eye gleamed in the night as he made a series of grunts. He picked up a gigantic bell with the word 'Kill' on it and began to ring it. It made the same noise, only in a bell fashion; KIIIILL KOOOON KAAAAN KOOOON... The ringing resonated through the air.

"... Who dares come to the tower of Kill Bell?"

Chroma giggled to herself, saying in a very playful tone, "It's the one here to reap your juicy soul, Mr. Kill Bell~! Come on, come down here and let me fight you! You can't defeat me!"

Naturally, she was trying to ruse him into coming down and getting him angry. Heated fights were always more fun. Scythe blades protruded from the back of her hands down to her middle forearm, and some blades on the bottom of her shoes and on the backs on her legs. She was battle ready at any time.

"Don't even think of running cuz I'll see you and follow you wherever you go! And with a big body like that, I doubt you'd even be able to run anywhere..."

How cruel... like a bully in an elementary school... hahaha. Fun.

Kill Bell was angered by her mean comments, which easily forced him out of his tower. He leapt right from the window, bell in hand, then landed some feet away from Chroma on his hands and feet, stumbling to his feet on his extremely tiny legs... They looked like they could barely hold up his body.

"Kill... kon... kan... kon..."

He gripped his gigantic bell tightly and swung it in Chroma's direction, releasing a horrific and powerful sound wave from it... It was no ordinary sound wave, however... Kill Bell's bell had the power to rupture and make wavelengths totally useless temporarily, so being hit by the concentrated sound wave wasn't good for Chroma if she planned to fight him only using her wavelength, that is.

Well, it was time for Chroma to use some of her newer abilities then, yes? Yes. The ability... Hyper Reception! Her psychic power focused on the mind and soul of Kill Bell simultaneously... Of course, it was a little fuzzy... it was the first time she was using it on anyone and she knew what it was SUPPOSED to do, but it was kinda not doing that correctly. When he raised his bell, she saw a slight fluctuation in his mind and soul at the same time, telling her he was going to use an attack... It was hard to decipher at first, but the more she focused, the clearer it got. She spread her wings and took off, flying right above Kill Bell's head.

"Ha, where are you looking, big guy!?"

She avoided the concentrated sound wave and darted down right at Kill bell, aiming to cut him with her scythe blades on her hands.

Kill Bell was initially surprised about her dodging action, but realized that she was going to come down for a sky attack. Without any hesitation, he brought up his gigantic bell which would clash with her scythes, the weight of the bell and the force of the clash should be enough to force her back, but leave Kill Bell able to swiftly follow up with a counter attack. He swatted at Chroma with his gigantic bell, which, if he hit, would smash her into the ground.

"You're too puny to stand up to me... My bell will crush you! Then I will burst your ears with its beautiful sound! Myeheheheheheh!!"

Chroma was too focused on trying to read his mental and soul readings, so she wasn't paying attention to the actual attack. But, she did realize that when he did attack, there was a pattern in his mental and soul readings... But, being so caught up in that, she was hit and smashed into the ground.

"Agh! The hell!?"

Being smashed into the ground wasn't fun for Chroma... In fact, it angered her. The bell really was like, super heavy, but her wings were definitely stronger than the bell itself... She did get her wing strength from her father, of course. She expanded her wings, forcing the gigantic bell off of her and then adjusted herself and brushed herself off. She floated into the air again, surging with her Death Wavelength.

"... Alright, I'm just gonna make this quick... You're going to die now, Kill Bell!"

Her entire body surged with the Death Wavelength, causing the atmosphere around her to darken.

"Soul Terror!!!"

She flew at Kill Bell at a high speed, knowing that contact would cause a massive explosion of her death soul that would totally erase everything within about a good 100 feet at LEAST. There was no way for him to escape her... His soul would be hers with no problem at all.

Kill Bell smiled evilly...

"Ahh, is that your soul? Is that what it looks like...? Your wavelength means nothing to me!"

Kill Bell swung his bell at the oncoming Chroma, which released the same concentrated sound wave just as before. From the speed she was going, there was no way for her to avoid it, especially since she seemed to have a one track mind. She would be hit with the sound wave and forced away from Kill Bell, and he would immediately jump away from her.

"Kill... Kon... Kan... Kon... Can you beat me without your wavelength, puny child?" He started to swing his bell wildly, this time releasing a different sound wave from it. The sound was horrific and crippling, able to alternate brain flow as well as the nerves in the body with its frequency, causing instant paralysis to those who heard it.

Thanks to Chroma's lack of focus, she was hit with the wave of concentrated sound, sending her flying, just as before. She easily regained composure in the air, but when she tried to use her Death Wavelength...

"... Eh?! What!? My.. My wavelength has been neutralized?!"

She wasn't able to use her Soul Wavelength at all... or any of her Soul Abilities. The bell's power was to neutralize her wavelength... And Soul Abilities, it seemed. Thankfully, she could still use her Hyper Reception since it was a combination of psychic power and Soul perception, so the psychic power would carry it out.. But she was lost everywhere else.

That was when the horrific sound was being made by it... The sound of the bell made her wail.. Caused her to freeze up, in fact. Paralyzed. She fell out of the sky and onto the ground. She was completely paralyzed by the sound wave, so couldn't talk or think correctly, either. If she couldn't think, she couldn't use her psychic powers... Chroma's Chakra Network was also being blocked and restricted by this sound, thus making her totally vulnerable... If she weren't so careless, she would have been able to beat Kill Bell rather easily... But now, it looked like she was done for.. But wait. Something was happening. Her body... It started to move on its own... It must have been... The Black Blood! It was acting on its own... Black Blood was an entirely different entity, after all... It was working on its own to save Chroma's body. It wrapped around her legs, her body, her wings... It picked her up off of the ground and expanded her wings... Seeming to merge with the matter it was made up of. The shape and form of the wings seemed to fluctuate wildly.



Chroma still couldn't speak or move herself, but she definitely knew that the Black Blood would help her through until she actually could move again by herself. Her wings took the form of a gigantic blades, still able to keep her floating in the air, but made her look very menacing...

Kill Bell was amazed at such a transformation... Especially when Chroma shouldn't have been able to move whatsoever... like... at ALL. If her wavelength, mind and chakra were all subdued and restricted, this must have been an outside force helping her out... It wasn't her doing.

"... How... How are you able to still move!? I'll take whatever it is that is moving you along with you..."

Kill Bell swung his bell once more, this time sending out the concentrated blast of sound at Chroma once again... He wished forwhatever it was that was moving her to stop moving, just like she was. He didn't even understand how it was moving in the first place...

With the wave of sound coming, Chroma's wing swayed, releasing a wind of equal force to that of the sound wave, canceling it out before it was even close to hitting. Chroma slowly floated toward Kill Bell, her wing-blade things alternating their forms as if they were unstable... They couldn't seem to keep a definite shape unless attacking or moving. They were trying to consume matter in the air...

Chroma's wings slowly started to extend themselves to Kill Bell as she floated closer and closer... They wished to consume him... completely and entirely against Chroma's own will. It wasn't like she was in control, so she couldn't do much, to stop them anyway. If her wings were to touch Kill Bell... They would consume him.

Kill Bell started to back away from the wings... He saw that his sound wave didn't work... So he tried multiple sound waves. He swung his bell violently through the air, releasing numerous concentrated sound blasts in desperation. Hell, he even tried to swing at the wings, themselves, maybe to smack them off course. He continued to back up and shoot out sound waves...

"... What are you?! Why don't you stop!? I will kill you! Stay away!"

More sound waves... More sound waves... His arm was moving faster than ever before. The entire area was filled with nothing but a horrific, terrible sound of an old, ringing bell. The sound waves would take down old and decrepit buildings in the area inadvertently as Kill Bell tried desperately to fight off these wings...

With every sound wave unleashed, the wings easily countered with equal forces of their own, canceling out the sound waves and leaving Chroma unharmed. No matter how many came up, they were all neutralized... When Kill Bell made the mistake of trying to hit the wings with his bell, the wings would take the bell from his hands and fling it elsewhere, letting it hit the ground with a powerful GOOONGGG!!

Now, Kill Bell was defenseless... Without his bell, there was no doubt that his soul would be consumed in the worst way possible... As Chroma got as close as she could, one of her wings transmogrified itself into a bell very quickly, giving a simulated ring; Kill... Kon... Kan... Kon... And with that, the wings lashed violently at Kill Bell, aiming to consume him whole, soul and all.

Kill Bell had no bell, now... It was all the way over there... He was scared of what was about to happen to him... As the sound of Chroma's imitation bell, he tried to run away. Naturally, his tiny, stubby legs didn't carry him far before he was completely and utterly consumed by the wings... even his soul, worth 15 normal souls... it was consumed by the wings, as well... There was no trace of Kill Bell left... nothing except his bell, rather.

Once all of that was done, Chroma floated over to the bell of Kill Bell, still silent. The effects of the bell hadn't worn off yet... She was still paralyzed and her wavelength was still rather... unusable. At least she took out the target.. Or rather, the Black Blood had. She was a little bit concerned about the Black Blood... It seemed more violent and indiscriminate when it was allowed to act on its own.. Probably not a good thing to use often or in teams... But for right now, she'd have to go wherever the Black Blood took her... Hopefully, not to kill anything else... Maybe she'd regain control in a little while so that nothing would happen.

Regardless, the black blood wings grabbed the bell and absorbed it, keeping it in storage, as one would say. Then, without further adieu, it carrier Chroma off... elsewhere...
