| Subject: Digimon, Digital Monsters: Digimon Rules. January 9th 2011, 4:41 pm | |
| So, I have been entrusted with sprucing up the rules and stuff for the Digimon, and so, here they are, so that Digimon can be under way once more. Let's start with the basics.
Digimon: How To Get One. This is a very simple matter. How to obtain your FIRST Digimon is simply to ask for one. You must go to the Chaotic Palace, which is the Digimon Registry, and ask Cleff politely for one. He will then provide you with your Digimon and the Digivice that accompanies. Alternatively, you may ask Zeik or any of the other Chaos higher ups, but it is recommended that you go to the Chaotic Palace and ask Cleff for your FIRST Digimon partner.
After you obtain your first digimon there, you cannot receive anymore Digimon from Cleff unless stated otherwise. After that, you must go and collect more Digimon inside of the Digital World. You may only get a Digimon that is depicted by your rank. You must fight them and capture them in your Digivice (via dice roll.) After this, enjoy your Digimon~!
Digimon: Digivolution A Digimon must increase power the same way a normal ninja must. As such, the Digimon partner will reflect the power of the shinobi they accompany and be of the same rank as they are. Therefore, one may only be allowed to have Digivolutions in accordance to their rank, which shall be dictated as follows:
Genin: Baby to In-Training, In-Training to Rookie. Chuunin + Special Jounin: Rookie to Champion. Jounin: Champion to Ultimate. Anbu +: Ultimate to Mega.
There are also several types of Digivolutions a Digimon may undergo, but those shall be explained in a separate topic, as these are general Digimon rules. However, let me say this, just because you are ELIGIBLE to Digivolve your digimon to a higher level does not mean that they automatically CAN Digivolve to the next level. A Digimon Tamer must train their Digimon just like they would train themselves to allow them to Digivolve to the next level. Therefore, even if you are an Anbu and your Digimon has never seen any Digivolution past Rookie level, that Anbu will have to train their Digimon like CRAZY to get them up to the Mega level.
Oh, and also, in addition to that, you MUST post up your Digimon's Digivolution line from Rookie (Baby and In-Training are optional) all the way up to Mega level, even if your Digimon cannot Digivolve into them yet. It is just to save you time and to keep references. More will be explained in the Digimon Rubric section.
Digimon: Digivice A Digivice is needed for all Digimon Tamers, as without them you cannot control your Digimon, Digivolve it, or anything of the sort and it will just be a wild Digimon. So, a Digivice is MANDATORY for anyone who has a Digimon. Just as there are several types of Digivolutions, there are several types of Digivices, which shall be explained further in the Digivolution section, as well. The more you upgrade your Digivice, the more your Digivice can help you and your Digimon in battles and stuff of that sort, as each upgrade adds more stuff onto the capabilities of the Digimon.
Digimon: Training Now, you can train your Digimon just about anywhere in any way you want to. Your Digimon can fight other Digimon, fight other shinobi or anything you really want, for Digimon grow and learn just like any normal person. So, training is basically limited only to your imagination. However, your Digimons parameters are still set to your RANK and its LEVEL. So, a Rookie Digimon won't be fighting on par with a Mega Level, even if you are an Anbu and no matter how hard you train it. It just doesn't work. However, you may train your Digimon in the Real World and the Digital World as long as you have a Digivice, so... Yeah.
This is all for the Digimon rules at this moment, as it doesn't seem that anything else is necessary for explanation or regulation at this time. So, um... Have fun! And be sure to read up on the other Digimon sections for more information on stuff. | |
