In The Observatory

_*After she rested up from her massive and intense training with her mother, she would make her way back to the observatory, eager to show off her skill. She walked about, her zanpaktou on her back. She walked through the endless lush green thinking hard, chakra crackling about her in the form of blue electrical jolt. It kissed the ground sometimes, along with the area around her.*_

-*Abruptly, Kham landed on the ground in front of Kayla without a moments notice. It was as if he knew where she was, what she wanted, and the like. He rose up slowly since he fell in a knelt position letting the crimson power crackle across the ground. The thing that rose up last was his hooded face, which he took off in the presence of family.*-

"You didn't quiver..."

-*Kham was referring to the 'jolt' everyone gets up their spine when he appears.... Kayla usually, if not always showed some fear. Something was different about this one. Kham smirked, but it was a mocking smirk. He was already pushing buttons.*-

"There's nothing to be feared.."

*_She said as she stopped once Mahk-x made his grand entrance. She looked at him, returning his smirk with one of her own. She was actually thinking about him. The cracking of her chakra danced around across the ground and clashed against the crimson energies of kham. She crossed her arms, and switched her weight to her hip. Her eye brow rose, awaiting a response._*

"..."

-*Kham turned behind him, a great mountain loomed in the distance it was massive, huge... dwarfed the both of them in size. And it was in Kham's observatory, so it had to be training worthy. Kham fanned out his left arm and brought in in front of him and clenched his fist as if he was doing the sand coffin. The mountain reduced to nothingness, compressed to the size of a quarter.*-

"That is nothing to fear?"

-*Kham said as he turned back around.*-

"Not anymore.."

_*She said chuckling a bit under her breath.*_

-*Kham laughed heartily before placing the mountain back where it was with a simple flick of the wrist.*-

"So it's your constant dependency on others to teach you new things that's got you this courage? So in essence, your courage is borrowed because your 'mother' trained you?"

_*Kayla laughed.*_

"Your the one to talk. Didn't you steal, this power that you have?"

*_Kayla said snickering at Kham.*_

"Your entire existence is a lie, and you got the nerve to comment on me?"

*_SHe flicked her hair from infront of her face. SHe learned these facts from talking with Tj and Gaia._*

"You have no right."

-*Kham peered his eyes at Kayla while he extended his arm out towards his left, the clouds above were gathering right above The Great Destroyer as he spoke.*-

"Fool, I stole what was rightfully mine. I chose my own destiny, it wasn't dictated to me by some woman in a coma. But, unfortunately I need not share such details with you."

-*The lightning struck Kham's arm, the cosmos destroyer appeared. He gripped it the entire fabric of the existence around him shook violently.*-

"I'm done talking.."

*_She said cutting him off. Her electric like chakra danced around the battle field, barking wildly. It then instantly died down. She grips the hilt of her zanpaktou._*

"Show me.."

-*Kham turned around and walked away with the hammer slung behind his back... as he scoffed to himself.*-

"..."

-*He walked away for a good 30-45 seconds before he was out of view, and once he disappeared from view he appeared a good 6 feet above Kayla with the hammer aiming to bring it down upon her face the force of the strike seemed as if he was falling from space. Hit or miss, it would cause some massive collateral damage and if it struck the ground world breaker like arms would emit from the ground (two of them) and would converge on Kayla's position.*-

*_While kham walked away, Kayla snickered. She brought her sword out of it's sheath slowly.*_

"..it begins.."

*_She began channeling chakra to her feet, causing the ground to split and her body to fizz. Once mahk-x appeared above her and brought his hammer upon her head, she would vanish. She reappeared higher in the sky. She was in mid-flip as the world breaker arms made their way toward her position. Kayla's body would fizz more and become translucent, this was her creating several after images.

Once the arms approached, Kayla(s) would all land on the world breaker arms, using the basis of the water walking jutsu to move freely across the arms. She used her speed to appear infront of kham's position. The several other after images would make their way on their own accord._*

-*Kham struck an earth bending stance as Kayla did her dodge thing in the air, as Kayla was rolling down the arms Kham clenched his fist shooting spikes up from all the arms hopefully dismembering all the Kayla's and their afterimages accordingly, all the while he spun his hammer building up energy around it ready for anything.*-

_*Once the spikes began to shoot from the ground, Kayla would begin using her speed to weave in between the spikes. She channeled massive amounts of chakra and spiritual pressure to her zanpaktou, bashing the spikes that she couldn't dodge away from her.

However, within the millisecond of mahk-x clenching his fist, Kayla and a multitude of her after images would have made their way to his location. One was aiming to bash vertically through his skull, cleaning it through with her blade, another one was aiming to run him through, samurai style, and another was trying to clothesline him. Neither of them loss the momentum they used to dodge the spikes, using all of it to crush him, all of them blazing with blue electrical like chakra.*_

-*With a mental thought, Kham repulsed the after images away with a telekinetic burst of power as they appeared without a moment wasted which created a sizable crater beneath him, either they were repulsed or blocked, Kham continued to spin his hammer as this occurred, not a movement wasted. The knocked away diamond spires would begin to morph into different objects, they numbered close to the hundreds.*-

"..."

-*Kham slid back across the ground, as he slid, and while the objects in the air continued to morph a large crack in the ground formed that began to suck in everything like a giant vacuum. Sucking in trees, animals, and even oxygen itself, it was about a mile long. Kham continued to spin all the while, building up a massive amount of energy.*-

*_Kayla was repelled, afterimages and all. She used her blade as a means to block the intial force of the attack, as she slid backwards, kicking up earth in her wake. After that, her after images retracted back to her in a insta-motion. She shuttered at the feeling.*_

"Gotta get used to that.."

*_She shook it off as she spinned her blade and placed it back in it's sheath on her back. That's when her attention was caught by the massive crack in the earth;and it's when it began to suck in everything that it started to worry her. She applied chakra to her feet again, along with a little lightning. She used it as a means to maintain a magnetic hold on he ground while she thought of a better way around this before the pull tore off her head.

Her fingers and hands moved at breakneck speeds, as her hair flailed about wildly, performing handsigns that would invoke her kg, Aura Control. She kneeled on the ground and a veil of blue would encompass her, allowing her independence of the suction. One of it's basic abilities being able to handle situations like this. A self note was taken on the massive build up Kham was making. She didn't know what he was doing but didn't WANs find out. More handsigns were made.*_

"You have to be prepared for an opponent who wishes to take it up a couple hundred notches in the middle of a battle just to test your skill."

-*Kham slammed the hammer behind him in the ground and crossed his arms and smirked, the ring on his finger ignited. He fed ALL of the cosmic build up into the ground so it can spit out from the cracks in the earth that he made... in order words this was a giant...*-

"I am that opponent...Gaia Cannon"

-*Kham said under his breath, the cracks in the earth glowed crimson for a couple seconds before the entire area in front of Kham exploded in crimson majesty and concussive pwnage power of doomy deathy death. Vaporizing everything in front of him to nothingness leaving nothing but a crater the size of the largest imaginable thing tapping Khams over all chakra pretty much in half, after all it is the Gaia Cannon. After the explosion, Kham would rapidly asbsorb as much of the used up energy as he could using his ring and it would propagate his body for whatever counter attack Kayla had in store. Although, by preparing a counter attack he felt like he gave her too much credit. Those mere seconds of charging was the only time she had, and he figured that she would be caught in the suction of the earth to do anything that evasively dynamic.*-

(...whoaaaa....)

"..then you shall be the first of the masses to witness it.."

*_Kayla took note of the crimson energies escaping the ground. She smirked as her body began to fizz before she vanished completely. Her body relocated in the sky, her aura still flaring about her body in a bluish fiery fashion. That very next instant, the explosion kham manifested would ensue, lighting the whole area in crimson glow, including Kayla's face. At first sight of it, Kayla would nose dive toward it, the rising blast of deathy death would seem to do nothing but excite her.

Kayla's performed a single handsign, her flaming aura flaring about more and more as the seconds passed. She cocked her arms back, staring down at what even she believed to be her imminent demise. Despite the bleakness of the situation, Kayla couldn't help but smirk. The intensity of her power was unreal, as she was using all but one of chakra points, and pushed them beyond the edge.*_

"...Kaiza Wave.."

_*Was what she said under her breath. It caused her flaming blue aura to expand from her in the shape of a sphere. This was a n advanced version of her mother's "hitooshi" technique. Using all the chakra and more from every chakra in her body but one, she caused the destructive eradicating energies to bend around Kayla's body, looking as if she was going into re-entry. Kayla with her superb chakra control, had a more precise use of the technique, and she would even dare say she evolved it.

After it all died down, Kayla would be seen among the smoke screen of all of it. She was completely out of breath, exhausted almost completely of chakra, save a single chakra point. Her body and clothes were all victim to the technique that she was have supposedly taken care of. All she did was stand there, staring at kham.*_

-*Kham observed the technique unfold, he shouldn't have re absorbed it and let it linger, but his ring was lit up for a reason, he didn't want all the power he used to go to waste. He propagated his leg muscles equivalent to the gaia cannon's strength which made him really... fucking... fast. He spoke as he let this internal process unfold*-

"It seems, that if I let the explosion linger, and not re absorb it using the Crusher Flame then it might have weakened your little defense to a point where you would be disintegrated into nothing. Although, you could have simply just used your taught speed to appear behind me through all this training, has your observation abilities as a ninja gone to waste?"

-*Kham picked up his hammer behind him and signed with his free hand increasing his density and overall weight to astronomical heights which may not be able to be sensed by Kayla. He beckoned Kayla forward.*-

"You're not exhausted are you?"

"heh.."

*_She said as she pulled her blade out from her back sheath nice and slowly. She made a handsign as she began to regain her chakra..ever so slowly. She also made another handsign, that increased her already magnificent chakra control._*

"Barely getting started.."

*_She said as she began to spin her blade about, building chakra up. She swung her blade at invisible speeds, sending out a plethora of waves of chakra so precisely filed and manifested, that they would cleave through some of vescrutia's hardest materials like butter. ANd if they couldn't cut through them, the intensity of the chakra build up with crush it with it's power. _*

-*Kham pressed his feet into the ground making a monstrous sized crater below.*-

"Then this is the beginning of the end for you."

-*He took of appearing in front of Kayla using his newly gained speed weaving around in between, in and out of the projectiles aiming to slam into her with his sheer body weight obtained that is now akin to that of the moon, in order to change directions with this new technique various bursts of energy could barely be seen before Kham appeared to help Kham change direction.*-

*_Kayla's eye twitched, something that always happened when she attempted to watch something that caused her eyes to work triple time. She didn't think that mahk-x's speed matched his strength, but she never ruled out the possibility. It was to her fortune however, that she received constant high-speed reflex training from several individuals, that would allow her to react to this situation precise and effectively.

Kayla's body would spin slightly to the side, dodging the high speed body slam. However, she only did this predicting that mahk-x couldn't change direction while moving so fast, which probably was a bad idea. Regardless, once the attack was dodged, kayla would place her hand toward mahk-x, releasing several devastating Kaiza Waves at him from point blank, concentrating the brute of the strikes towards where she thought his center of gravity was. She kept her blade at the ready.*_

-*Kham instantly turned around the moment he flet him not slam into Kayla's being so she was in the process of firing the Kaiza wave in which Kham was a couple feet away, a boom of power appeared behind Kham as he changed direction. The 'point blank' Kaiza wave seemed to be neutralized as Kham aimed to slam into kaylas. The very last moment Kham would appear behind Kayla and slam into her backside hopefully.*-

_*Kayla was kinda screwed. She would be knocked forward, skipping across the earth, making a crater with each impact she made with the ground. the only thing keeping her alive was the coating of her aura that she had on her. It would protect her from the mortal pain that the attack withheld, but even still, the attack was to grim to just shake off.

After being knocked, a mile plus of length away, Kayla would try to push her self to her feet, using her blade as leverage. She spat a glob of blood from her mouth as she struggled to maintain her stance.*_

"..."

*_She made a weak handsign, causing her body to begin to fizz about, seeming to fade in and out of reality._*

-*Kham couldn't keep up pursuit, for he exhausted the energy he got from the gaia cannon that made him faster. He landed on the ground seemingly softly, but because he currently weighed as much as the moon it made a huge ass crater.*-

"Get up..."

-*Is all he said, he took a step forward appearing above Kayla attempting to smack her into oblivion with the cosmos destroyer of doom.*-

"Heh.."

_*Is all that Kayla said. Once Kham's hammer reached mid-swing, she would vanish. Using her chakra to accelerate her body as fast as she fucking could, she would split into several after-images, and strike kham at multiple angles. She knew all to well of mahk-x's nearly impenetrable hide, but she figured that his insides or chakra netowork wasn't as durable. She applied this thought, and channeled chakra into her zanpaktou, giving it similar effects of a chakra scalpel. She reappeared behind him.

She struck him much like the visual aid, slicing at his body quickly and severely, all in the time it took him to finish his hammer swing. She hopefully sliced and diced his chakra network, and possibly his insides as well.*_
