First meeting with the new mentor

Vessel walked inside a warm biulding trying to get away from the blistering cold that was forming outside. As he walked in he relized it was the training ground, built as if it was outside. Grass, trees, some rocks, and.....another flower. Anyway Vessel decided to pratice. He noticed Slade Hyuga was stronger. Ravage was stronger. It seemed as if he was the weak link. The only thing stronger was his Acceleration State, which had gotten an upgrade. He was now able to see a beating heart with the arteries.

*sigh* "I go to seek out Shiro. I don't want to be an annoying brat, but he did say he'll be my sensei. Please, dont let him be too busy...."

Belive it or not, Vessel was NOT eating cookies at this moment........

**There was a massive boulder that lay in the middle of the scenery. A shift of wind would blow through the air, the force was enough to knock Vessel off his feet if he wasn't paying attention to the sudden shift. Just as the wind passsed, the smiling Shiro had appeared atop the massive boulder in a crouch, his right arm draped over his propped up knee. Something was attachted to his belt now. It was a sheath that held his beloved Reverse Blade sword he had just recieved from Kham. This actually had him in a somewhat good mood.**

"Why hello there."

**He stood up and placed his hands on his hips as he looked down at where Vessel was standing. His smile was as radiant as ever, the friendly demeanor about him had returned it seemed.**

The forced almost knocked Vessel off his feet. Thanks to the quick shift of chakra to his feet though, he was able able to maintain his balance. Putting his arms down his noticed.....

"Shiro-sensei! It's been so long. What you been up to? OMG! Your here! Here! OMG I can't belive this. You were serious about training me and being my mentor...OMG!"

Vessel was so excited about seeing Shiro, he forgot he was a higher rank then him. So please fogive Vessel for his sqeuling. And the dancing.

**Shiro couldn't help but laugh at the Vessel's energetic display. All the while, he caught his breath and looked around observing the area a bit.**

"Meh... I guess this will do."

**He knealt down a bit and took a leap into the air. Doing an acrobative spiral, he landed right in front of Vessel. His left hand rest on the hilt of his blade strapped to his side.**

"Where to begin."

Vessel stopped dancing. It was time to get seriuos. Vessel looked at where Shiro's hand rested on. He did need a help with his swordsmenship. But then again what if he lost Bloody Mary and had to rely on Taijustu. He learned a bit of capoeria from his best freind. And Shiro was a master of all the elements.

*sigh* [So hard to come to a decision....]

Vessel took another look at Shiro.

"Well, one of the things I need help in is my skills with Bloody Mary."

Vessel pulled out his sword and rotated it around through his fingers.

Can you help me on that today, sensei....?

"Swordplay huh...? Sure. Why not."

**With that, Shiro lowered his left hand to the base of the sheath, pressing his hand against his Reverse Blade and pushing it out. He spread his feet out somewhat but let his right hand lay relaxed at his side. Still smiling, he looked at the eager Vessel.**

"First off, lets see just how much you know..."

**His right hand swayed over to the handle and gripped it tight, slowly pulling the Reverse Blade from its sheath. He flicked the sword to his side, freeing his left hand off the sheath. His eyes fixed on Vessel's blade for a moment.**

"Come on then. Get to it!"

Vessel said his sword name loud and clear.

"Bloody Mary"

At once she glowed the usual red. Pulsing in fact. {I sense that same damn presence in your pathetic attempt to rank. Trying again are you...}[First, if you forgot, he ranked me to Chuunin. Second, he's our mentor. Teacher. Sensei. Whatever you want to call him...]

Vessel was about to rush in, but remeber thier last match. And he forgot his usaul first move.

"Acceleration Justu!"

Vessel still couldn't get over his new set of eyes. He could see Shrio's beating heart with the arteries connecting to it.

"Sweet....."

Vessel also weaved out the blood clone signs. A replica of Vessel appear.

"Just to let you know sensei, we have gotten faster."

That when the clone decided to run and swin his sword at his knees....

**Shiro hand moved to the side colliding with the clones blade in such a flowing motion, spinning his arm in a circle and throwing the clone off balance and in turn sending the clone in a spinning summersault past Shiro landing on it's back. He ws still smiling as he brought his blade back to his side and placed his left hand back on his hip. His head was slightly tilted to the right.**

"Still waiting..."

**His stance didn't even appear to be one at all. It was just as it seemed, he was simply standing there waiting for the young Vessel to come at him of course.**

Vessel looked at how his clone was dismantled.

"But...he was using his Accel speed...that not FAIR!"

Vessel was about to rush in too, but stopped himself. He had to start fighting smart. Vessel slowly thought about his moves. His moves were always direct and predictable. What if.....well he had to try.

*sigh*

The clone got back up. It hurted to stand up, but he didn't want to be showed up. So the clone ran towards Shiro, hoping to grab him from the back. Meanwhile the real Vessel rushed with Bloody Mary in his right hand, turning the sword to it's side not wanting to cut his sensei. Within two feet, Vessel switched hands pulling up his sword in a uppercut motion....

**Shiro's left hand shot back grabbing the clone by its neck, his right hand holding his blade striking downward to stop Vessel's swing completely. He smirked, for he was simply studying everything about Vessel's tactics straight down to his form. Swordplay was Shiro's domain, one in which he has practice vigorously. Therefore he was observining every bit of Vessel just to see how well his swordsmanship was. Because swordplay wasn't the biggest part of a shinobi, it happened to be a favorite of many.**

"Not bad..."

**Shiro tossed the clone to the side knowing it would land on its feet hopefully. His hand now free, he shifted his blade letting Vessel's slides slide up into the air. He took a hop back to put some distance between the two. He stood there again in his nonchalant stance, still with a smile on his face.**

"Again..."

Vessel panted with effort. Somehow Shiro makes it all look easy..

"How did you get so....awesome...."

As much as it sucked that Vessel couldn't seem to land a hit, he was happy in a way. It made him think. Then he remebered two things. 1)his bit of training of capoeria and 2) the weaponary he purchased a way back. It's was a risky move but he had to try. The clone spoke to Shiro, trying to divert his attetion.

"Well, Sensei seems got to step it up a nocth."

Making a fake handsign he yelled out,

"Bloodlust Justu: Release!"

The clone made a sign simialiar sign to it but it had to be excact. He made his eye turn bloody for the effect too. But he forgot that on Bloodlust state, you temporaliy lose your mind. Meanwhile, Vessel was done with his new trick. Charging once again, he ran within five feet, backflipped and toss Bloody Mary. With the string he tied up on it, he pulled at making it curve, aiming at a vien in the right forearm....

**Shiro slid his his left foot back across the ground, turning his body somewhat sideways as he simply smacked the blade out of its path. He wasn't concerned with the clone for studying the clone would prove pointless. His blade was in the air now with his arm across his chest. Gripping the handle tight, Shiro swung the blade back down towards the ground in a complete blur. The motion emitted Shiro signature Dragon Howl firing into the air where Vessel he launched himself. The sonic boom speed through the air almost cutting through it. In the mean time, Shiro grabbed his blade with both hands. He was about to test Vessel's skill now. He took the blade in his right hand and took the following stance:**



"Let's see how well you move..."

**He stood his ground waiting to see Vessel's reaction to the Dragon Howl before he made his move.**

Vessel flipped to the left with the blasing enegy coming in. [Looks like I'm not the only one who throw stuff.] Vessel put his wrist on his blade, let Mary do her usual work. With her now bleeding, He did the thing he could do.

"Blood Spray Justu!"

Vessel sliced the air twice, sending arced blood towards Shiro in a verital direction. Running forward again, cuz thats the only way to get to him, Vessel try to push Shiro's sword out his hand. Jumping high, he spun to aim a kick towards the side.....

**From his stance, Shiro brought his blade to collide with Vessel's leg, letting him strike the steel. Using that momentum, Shiro bounced Vessel's leg back with enough force to keep him in the air, with that he slid his sword through the air and pushed Vessel back with an arc of air created from the mere speed of Shiro's slash. The time in between, his sword flashed through the air twice, two Dragon Howl's collided with Vessel's blood. He then took his stance and stood his ground still studying Vessel's every move.**

"Again..."

Vessel panted with effort. No matter what he did, Shiro didn't bugde an inch. Standing up again he threw blood with his sword five times..

"Blood Spray Justu!"

As Vessel slashed five times, he waited a while before charging in. Hoping the blood hit it marks, Vessel rushed in with his right shuolder forwards, trying to ram Sensei. Within the same motion Vessel had his sword in his left hand, swinging it in case he missed.....

**Shiro slid his blade through the air just as quick to create five matching Dragon Howls. The sonic booms collided with each of the blood waves spalletering them into rest mists. After the final swing, he drew his blade behind him and took a step forward at the exact moment Vessel's shoulder come within reach of Shiro. Taking that extra step gave Shiro's swing a simple boost in speed therefor he met with Vessel's blade before he could finish his swing completely. Again, Shiro took the oppurtunity to slam his own Reverse Blade down and smack Bloody Mary into the ground. This would put Vessel off balance and tip him forward most likely making him faceplant into the ground. Shaking his head, Shiro twirled his blade in his hands and this time placed the Reverse Blade into its sheath. Doing that Shiro took a different stance, otherwise known as the Batojutsu stance. His right hand hovered over the handle of his sword while his left gripped the base of his sheath. He still smiled and faced his student who should be on the ground. Either way he spoke again in his normal voice.**

"Do it again..."

**Normally, most people would consider this making a mockery of their student. But in this case, Shiro was doing all this on purpose. It was all part of his observation. He waited for Vessel to make his move once more.**

Vessel got up panting harder then ever. Shiro's heart was working.....normal. Ugh! For crying out loud was he holding during the ranking exam?

Taking his final stand(haha final stand) he rushed towards Shiro. He stopped within five feet of him.

"Blood Spray Justu!"

After one slash, he jumped high., bringing him sword down with him. If this didn't work, he didn't know what did....

**Eyes shut, Shiro gripped his blade tight hearing Vessel shout outloud. He matched his swing with ease but his blade flashed in a complete blur, a Dragon Howl clashing with Vessel's blood spray once more. He turned his blade letting it down on his oppisite side (right side) and brought his Reverse Blade up in a single swing with enough power to send Vessel in a spiral backwards. In all, he sheathed his blade watching his student hit the ground and smiled. He saw what needed work and was time to start fixing some things.**

"Alright then... That's enough..."

(Sorry about the wait...been busy)

Vessel slammed his shoulder against the ground, hitting the ground hard. Grabbing on to his arm he sat up on his butt, groaning at the pain. It wouldn't be that bad if he wasn't in Acceleration State. Since his touch is heighten, the pain's worse. Anyway Vessel was graoning but was sasified he didn't have to rush in. Getting back on his feet he let go of his arm

"What now sensei?"
