Step Your Game Up...

*After Kham and TJ's little exchange on the battle field outside Gaia's house, Gaia was rather worried about the future of Kham and how he would be able to fare as long as his 'internal' problems keep affecting his body. Gaia had never spoken to 'The Master' since Kham absorbed him against her will, but now it was time to fix those problems. So she waited for him in the observatory for they were going to be training here for a very long time.*

-*Kham appeared out of the empty space with his hood off he saw his love in the distance, she had summoned him here... it must be important. Let's hope she wasn't going to bitch and moan about how he struck Kayla down since she did find some means to come back to life as...expected.*-

"My Goddess... you summoned me"

-*He said as he walked towards her, giving her the respect she deserves for she is and always will be stronger than he.*-

"Not for the reason you think my love..."

*Gaia appeared in front of Kham embracing him kissing him on the forehead, she turned back around to look upon their creation that they made together inhaling the scenery... Ken's marijuana could be smelled from far far off but fortunately it didn't disrupt anything in particular.*

"Have your memories been restored of what happened with our daughter?"

-*Kham paused at the question... it was hard to tell where his wife was going with things so he just played it by ear for he knew that she had an amazing temper.*-

"No, my memory of it is a tad fuzzy.. all I remember is that last exchange of power that we had before my mind went blank."

*Gaia nodded to herself before turning back around to Kham with a look of question on her face... but it seemed as if she already knew the answer.*

"Your memory went black... which means what?"

-*Kham laughed heartily, he liked the conclusion that his wife was drawing. It was pleasing, which is why he let TJ keep her rank*-

"She must have killed me..."

-*Kham paused for a second then took it back.*-

"No, the phoenix did."

"Exactly... When you beat her to a pulp the phoenix seized control of her mind and took it out on you without caring for the well being of her body. This resulted in a double knock out in all technicality."

*Gaia flipped her hair to her side and continued to speak.*

"As of now, TJ is taking care of seizing control of the psychic summon beast known as Al'Ar... the phoenix. So consider you ploy successful."

-*Kham was a bit confused, he was satisfied that TJ is finally working hard. But there was a bit of sting in Gaia's words. He would choose his words carefully.*-

"Thanks, that's the way I treat most of my ninja... but you seem displeased. Was it at her performance?"

*Gaia laughed then turned to face her hubby with a look of great distaste and disdain...*

"HER performance? Hardly... it was your performance that I was saddened by. How do you expect to maintain your position as the most evolved life form that this earth has produced when are not immune to your own explosions. Your message to TJ was that of a hypocrite, for you too are loosing your thunder."

"..."

-*Kham said nothing... but took this verbal lashing, it all clicked to him now. He needed to work a bit harder but found no way to grant him immunity to the cosmic power that he had... obtained. He needed to consult the master.*-

"What is it you want me to do..."

"Years ago the previous Advocate of The Earth was the man referred to as 'The Master' you killed him prematurely and stole his power which resulted in your incomplete mastery of The Power Cosmic and is going to result in your eminent demise. We will finish this training here, and you are not allowed to leave until it is over. Bring him out..."

*Gaia said she waved her hand in front of her as key hole was seen manifesting in front of her, she locked the way into the observatory and the way out.*

"HOW?! The Old Man has sealed himself inside me when I took his life, and refuses to grant me any of his knowledge and the rest of his secrets which is why I have been attempting to do this myself."

-*Kham said, slightly raising his voice... but in that moment various craters formed out of no where and a shining white long bearded man appeared next to Kham.*-

The Master: I was waiting for The Goddess to request my summons... if it is her will then I will do anything she asks.

-*Kham scoffed, while the master looked around a bit. It seemed that he was in the observatory he sighed to himself then chuckled.*-

The Master: My my... you got married, and had a child. How did the other God's feel about this?

-*Kham interjected before Gaia could answer he spoke a bit under his breath.*-

"I handled Aeries myself..."

The Master: I see, still forcing everything away with those fists of yours are you Destroyer? When will you realize that will not be enough to win?

"That moment has never came yet... Master"

-*The Master laughed smugly as he stroked his elongated beard searching for a solution to the problem...*-

The Master: Well that's obvious, the power did not claim him. He sized it for himself and it is rejecting him. The only reason why Kham is using it because his sheer strength is bending it to his will.

Kham: So you mean to be telling me... that it is my strength alone that is forcing the Power Cosmic out of my body and making it do what I want? Badass...

The Master: Precisely... but, like all things with your strength, there is a downside.

"The more you use the power the more you shorten your lifespan... in essence, the Power Cosmic is a force that takes its power from the existence of the universe. Unlike Fate, whose body was a focal point for that power; The Power Cosmic is destroying you as a means to support itself within you. You don't have long..."

*Gaia said as she lowered her head slowly...*

"But we can fix this, correct Fate?"

-*The Master shrugged, it was heavily contingent on how bad the situation was currently... all he did in Kham's subconscious was sit and wait for him to die so he can take over but he was bound to aid the goddess at all costs.*-

The Master: I'm assuming so, do you still have my blade...

-*Kham extended his hand skywards, a golden lightning bolt struck Kham's had, the blade appeared in his hand. That ornamental blade that he could only swing a maximum of eight times. He held it in front of him.*-

"Obviously... it is bound to our being."

The Master: Not ours, not anymore... yours and there is still power flowing through the blade you have to permanently fuse it with your body firstly.

"Wouldn't that put you closer to seizing control of my body when you want..."

The Master: I'd have to figure out your cosmic base first...

"Point... so do I just eat the sword or what?"

-*The Master turned to Gaia looking for an answer.*-

*Gaia nodded and pointed at her husband lifting him skywards his body began to show what he looked like on the inside for she had always wondered what the inside of her husband looked like and was very surprised...*

"Let's see what's happening on the inside... Oh my"

*The RED Matter, what Kham took for power seemed to be harming his organs using them as an anchor of the PC to exist within. It was only a matter of time before they started to give out along with his body.*

"It seems, that you must use your strength to draw the remaining power out of the blade to neutralize the Red Matter festering inside you. What you took for an upgrade is actually a hindrance my love."

-*Kham landed on the ground with a thump and the blade in hand, he stuck it in the ground as the master formed his lips to speak. Kham on the other hand was readying himself for a task that no one else could do, for absorbing raw cosmic energies could destroy the bulk of the ninja on this planet.*-

The Master: Do not think that you are going to gain more power from this boy... My Cosmic Power has a calming affect that can neutralize your insides to a point where you can truly bond yourself with its power.

"I no longer have the need for your power, for mine is greater than yours... that was proven when I ground you to nothingness."

The Master: And yet here I stand...

"Enough talk..."

-*Kham distanced himself away from his wife and The Master and held the blade in front of him, he estimated that this would be the last time he would ever see this blade. He never liked it anyway... but it did come in handy when he fought Marta and helped him when he was in his child state. However, he wouldn't need it now it's powers were too much of a mystery for him to unlock and it's secrets would remain a mystery for ever. With a firm grip on the blade he began to draw its power out of it. Because the Master's cosmic base was destroyed this was quite possible... the power went inside of him violently the pain was unlinke anything anyone on the planet could dish out and it made Kham beg for one of Khrona's soul menance's as he screamed like Super Buu drawing out the power of the blade. No overt landscape destruction was caused but an impressive light display was created as the golden cosmic energies of the master was funneling into Kham's body with sheer strength. The Master sat back and watched with his arms crossed, his beard flailing around behind him.*-

The Master: Does he honestly think that strength can solve anything...

*Gaia watched the display of power, random cluster bolts of cosmic energy aimed to strike her but seemed to go through her for reasons unknown. She smiled at the masters comment but already had an answer waiting for him.*

"He thinks that it can, which is why I chose him as my husband and my champion... However love, brute strength has its limits as well."

*She was referring to Mahk-X's state of mind for there was no way a mere mortal man could take in all of this power at once and not die... she gestured for him to stop, but he was stubborn. He more than likely wouldn't cease until he was flirting with death once more*

-*Kham persisted, absorbing more power that threatened to undo the very pocket dimension that is the observatory his screaming continued vigorously as the power was neutralizing his insides creating his organs that once were there and expanding his chakra network and overall pool of energy.*-

"Hmph..."

-*The blade itself began to deconstruct at the tip as it seems that Kham was absorbing it into his being, the blade was nearly complete until it stopped at half. Kham tensed up and collapsed on the ground in searing pain, his screams were no longer that of strength but of sheer discomfort there was something wrong for he was gripping a spot behind his left shoulder, the nexus of his dark chakras.*-

*Gaia was about to flail around in panic for her husband, but of course she had to keep her omni-esque cool about herself. But she was rather worried. She could pinpoint what happened before it was going to occur.*

"It seems, that all the strife and pain that Kham has ever went through in his entire life manifested in a nexus of dark chakras. That one point rivals the strength of all the power in the rest of his entire body. And it's so potent, that it refuses to be calmed by your power."

*Gaia appeared over her writing husband and slung her body over him, calming him down with her power. Eventually, Kham would collapse from this attack.*

"We have quelled the beast for now..."

-*The Master sat back and observed the various happenings of Kham's body... he always knew that Kham had way too much darkness in him for comfort, but not like this.*-

The Master: It seems that way. The Power Cosmic reacts differently to all elemental chakras, Kham's silver body is what happens when Cosmic Energy reacts with earth chakra whereas my golden power cosmic is what came about due to my lightning chakras. There is no recorded evidence of any cosmic being with dark chakras. Probably because they are not allowed... for the result could be a being too strong for the world to handle. Perhaps we should seal this power while it is dormant.

*Gaia slowly shook her head as she was still slung over her husband feeling the contours of his muscles under her body... she longed to be forever close to him, but sealing this power is not an option*

"The individual with the knowledge to seal this power also has the knowledge to fully release it. And once Kham learns of the power of these dark chakras then we cannot help but let him achieve it. Either he will be the cause of his own undoing, or achieve a higher level of greatness."

-*The Master sighed and looked upon Mahk-X, Gaia obviously knew him well for he had to choice but to abide by her wishes. He only hoped that this wouldn't end in another unicron incident.*-

The Master: Then we must trust that he does the latter... wake him, we have much to accomplish. By internalizing the blade his chakra network has expanded to a point where more chakra can flow through his veins. Through this, and the proper amount of chakra control the world will face a new Great Destroyer.

*Gaia whispered in her husbands ear, through this she awoke him rejuvenated to a point where fatigue didn't even occur to him, but the knowledge of the dark chakra was wiped from his memory. Gaia floated off of his body and landed a ways away next to Fate.*

"We have work to do love... You must internalize the rest of the blade."

"The blade refuses to go pasts its halfway point... it is impossible."

-*Kham tossed the sword to the side and turned towards the master who was gesturing to him to pick the sword back up.*-

The Master: No boy... you must instead of just feeding the power to you run it through your heart and out through the rest of your chakra system with control and poise. This will take us into our next exercise

"Bah! Chakra control!? Is useless. I can just defeat my opponents just as fast than have the stamina to draw out the fight."

The Master: Your goal is to be the most evolved being that the earth has produced, it only makes sense that you have the ability to fight longer and different than before. Through this... you can achieve more power.

-*Kham turned towards his wife... looking for some kind of concurence*-
