Ranking Exam

Alex would come to the battle areas to get his ranking exam.He wanted to earn his next rank and prove that he is going to be a great puppet master in the future.He waits to see who would pop up for his exam.

*kai would appear in a burst of feathers and look to the new shinobi. this was an entirely new face to him*
hmmm...you're a new face. i'm kai, anbu of the chaos

Alex saw feathers as they popped out of nowhere.Of course he was new but hey he never meet this guy ethier.

"Umm Hello My name is Alex,are you here to give me my ranking exam"He said with a smile

*kai smiled as he read the boy's chakra. he smirked as the ryuugan kicked in*
it's been a while since i've been a proctor, but i'll judge you fairly. it's real simple this time. just draw blood from me

He questioned his request but remembering that he is a anbu.He unwrapped his puppet spearow as he made it come out.Alex would ran to the side as he threw a flashbomb as it exploded.He soon made spearow move quickly to slash at kai.He wanted to know more about his fighting style as he played both defensive and offensive.

*kai would smirk as the flashbomb had affected him, but it was no problem. tenjin chakra would sprout up to protect kai. as it succeeded in blocking, the tenjin would attempt to smack sparrow away a good distance. kai formed handsigns with one hand as his vision began to clear up. time to put the genin through the test*

His puppet was pushed back but was returned to his side.He saw that he has some type of strong charka,which means he had to get through that first.Soon he dismantled his puppet as all his body parts gained blades sticking out of them.He made the pieces circle around Kai from the air as he brought them down aiming from different angles.As he would do a handsign charging his charka.

--Miles above the exam a black cloud drifted by mixed in with the regular ones. It was a clone of Marta not-so-discreetly hidden so that she could look down on the battle below. There were only two reasons for her to watch this fight: first, she hasn't met Kai Ishidate before, or if she had it was so long ago she can't remember. Second, was because of Alex. Being a puppet master herself, she wanted to see how the new comer utilized his puppets.--

*finishing the handsigns, kai slammed his fist to the ground as a wave of energy sprouted around him, knocking the blades away. it was a shame that kai was unable to get to the air. he was starting to like this kid though. he turned to alex and planted a foot into the ground, concentrating chakra before bursting at him with speed he could follow...barely. kai was going to see how alex worked under pressure now. once kai got close enough, he would dash to the side and throw a kick towards his head*

Alex quickly applied his chakra to his legs as the ground around 10 meters of himself,would turn to quicksand.Making Kai kick miss as he tried to make him get stuck in his quicksand.Alex would be sucked into the bottomless quicksand.He would open as scroll as something would quickly come from the sand.Jaki his scropin would move out as it shot a smoke bomb.Soon after it would move it's tail to stab kai in his body as alex would be inside jaki's hard shell.

*as the ground made its change, kai looked down and smirked. it was a nice tactic and an original as far as kai knew. kai shifted his chakra to his legs and jumped out the quicksand and out the smoke. he placed two hands on the ground not in alex's control and charged it with tenjin chakra*
you're actually not bad from what i can see so far. you have potential
*kai pushed harder on the ground as the chakra erupted in waves towards the smoke and jaki, nothing lethal, just trying to shake it up a bit*

Jaki was shaking up but it's legs were digged into the ground making it stand firm.The quicksand had reverted back to ground as Jaki came out into the field.It soon brought it's tail around as it started to let out a fog of posion towards Kai.The posion was a numbing kind that would affect the body making it sluggish to whoever inhale it.Jaki would be inside the purple mist as it moved it's tail to stab at Kai again.

*kai was caught off guard by the poison. he was expecting to be stabbed at but instead inhaled the poison. trying to dodge, he realized that he was slower than usual. using the tenjin, kai blocked the tail stab as his chakra began to cleanse him. kai looked at his hand, noticing a bruise on it. he jumped back a safe distance as he summoned seiken, his first sword. he tossed it at jaki and shot a ball of energy at the handle, speeding the sword up*

Jaki would move it's tail towards the blade as it stuck into his tail.Alex didn't know the damage of the blade,but Jaki was still usable.The posion seemed to take affect as he noticed kai body had slowed down abit.Jaki would move closer as it shot a kunai bomb as kai making about more then 50 kunai's came at his oppenent.He release a handsign as he used his puppet switch justu as his puppet kin would take alex place.The hatch on jaki back would open as Alex would jump out over kai.It looked like a complete copy of alex real body as he would open it's mouth shooting down a flame bomb at kai.Then started to come down at kai to give him a leg drop to his face.

*the sword had stuck. good. once the sword was in jaki, it proceeded a minor chakra drain until alex jumped out. as the kunai came towards kai, he waited until the last second and jumped up and back, out the range, only to feel the flame bomb coming. the tenjin would block the blast and send kai back as alex was preparing the leg drop. kai caught alex's leg, barely blocking the attack. he threw alex into the air and prepared a lightening bolt for him...but didn't realease it, letting it crackle in his arm*

As soon as alex was grabed his whole leg would be ripped apart.Showing that it was a puppet as it was in close range,it opened up it's chest as chains came out of it circling kin and kai.It soon pulled the chains closed aiming to bind/cut kai and make him enter his body if it worked.The surpise attack would hopefully work but Alex was in the ground as he would move near kai as he waited for his reaction even if he would move he would to his location and try to pull him underground.

*kai was thrown off guard. while he knew it was a puppet, he wasn't expecting the counterattack. as he started to get binded, kai summoned seiken to his hand. slashing through the chains, he rolled out the air and slid to a stop. kai stabbed his sword into the ground and it seeped out tenjin, but it was different this time. it searched for alex, attempting to get into his system. kai's arm crackled with lightening as kai closed his eyes*

He chains of the puppet would be broken off but the puppet was still useable as it opened his mouth again shooting flames again.As alex did a handsign in the ground as he made the earth change in formation.Before kai would land on the ground alex would have made a large clunk of earth in a shape of a square shoot out and aim to crush him.As alex would come out of the ground and jump away a few feet back as he brought out another puppet then made them shot out a kunai bomb at kai as well.
