Gorgeous. Tall. Flowing Long Hair….The envy of every other girl her age. And yet she had no hate in her heart. No malice, no jealousy, no envy. She wasn’t oblivious to the jealousy of the other girls, though. Not hateful, she constantly took their beatings. She couldn’t bring herself to fight back when she saw the tears in their eyes, their anger and frustration. She just couldn’t. She thought nobody loved her. Nobody understood her. No one but her dear twin sister, Lola. Or so Laila thought.
