Infiltration Beta

The second incarnation from Lucius's own blood made his way staight to the apartment complex. There was a particular Jounin he was most curious about, having memories of fights between Lucius and him in the past.. He waited in top of the roof of Kai's shabby home, sitting cross-legged. He closed his eyes in waiting, sending a pulse of his darker Negative chakra straight to the young Ishidate's mind...

*feeling the pulse in my mind, i spring up and look around. not seeing anything, i try to concentrate on where its coming from. i pinpoint the postition and head for the roof. i look at beta*
...who the hell...what the hell are you?

The man rose, red Negation energy beginning to pulse in his hands. He faced Kai directly, still unsmilng.

"I am Lucius.. Lucius β"

He gave a slight smirk.

"What's the matter... don't recognize me, Kai?"

*i take a step forward as seinaru begins to rise up*
the face is the same...but the chakra is off. for some reason, i think youre not the same lucius i know

"The chakra is entirely the same, Kai.. this is only a faux body, so to speak. A vessel for our conquest..."

Beta raised his right arm towards Kai, forming a finger-gun with his hand. "And it's time you proved yourself.. or become a victim of our wrath."

*i let out a small chuckle before the ryuugan activates*
what do you hope to gain with this..."conquest"? what's your goal here "lucius"?

"I'm afraid I'm not at... liberty to disclose such information."

He instantly flash-stepped to Kai's left side and fired the Crimson Bolt from his fingers at Kai's head; it was at point-blank range, so he fully expected the shot to pierce straight through whatever chakra enhancements Kai had, and then his very skull.

*the instant beta wasnt in front of me, the seinaru sprang up and protected me from the beam. it does, however, cause me to slide back*
fine then. so help me, i will beat the info out of you
*i focus midnight to my hands and feet and spread fire towards beta*

With a wave of his hand and a red glow, the midnight chakra was diverted elsewhere, hitting a nearby tree instead. He walked casually towards Kai, putting his hands back in his pockets.

"Why must the affairs of others concern you so...'

*i wrap my hands in midnight chakra and stand the, all the while letting seinaru pour out around us*
i am a chaos ninja. anything that might concern the downfall of the village concerns me as well, unless proven otherwise. since you have no proof...
*some of the seinaru whips at beta in an attempt to send him flying*

A black tendril comes from Beta's side, overpowering the whip of Seinaru. He continues to walk forward, a more menacing look on his face with every passing second.

"Shoot first and ask questions leter, eh..."

*i jump back to what i feel is a safe distance as the ryuugan activates*
tell me something. why target me? what could you want with me? or is it just "sending a message"?

"My being here serves many purposes, including sending a message. However, Kai.. I just wanted to see how much you've improved. So far.. I'm unimpressed."

He lunged forward in a flash step, now appearing only an inch away from Kai's face.

"So impress me."

*with that, i spin around past beta and aim a seinaru beam at his back. i spin and kick up a wave of seinaru that breaks into shards and float around. i then slam my fist to the ground and rise up pillars of midnight that head towards beta*
