Back Story

Born the youngest of 12 brothers and sisters in a poor family, Arcana was the unlucky child that would have to be sold into slavery. but that would be later on in her life.

She stayed with her family until she was 12, dealing with her parents goody goody "Everything will workout" bullshit. She hated every minute of life with her weak family. She hated it even more when she came home for gathering water at the village well to discover meny in black cloaks waiting with her family.

Father: Just in time honey, these fine men are going to take you to a better life
Mother: THat'sright dear, you'll be in a much better placec than we can provide

"What are you--" The men grabbed her by her hair and punched her in the stomach, leaving her unconsious. She awoke in some swank mansion god only knows how much later. That place would become her home from then on.

She lived there doing whatever her employer requested, but taking every opportunity to stand against him in defiance, until finally she went to far. She insulted him in front of all of the people that worked for him, his rage was evident in his actions. He left the room fully enraged leaving only a snap of his fingers behind, which signalled his men to make sure that she never woke up again.

Unfortunately for her, she did wake up, in a world of pain. she had been pierced all over with swords, and even had one in her heart, she didn't know how she was alive, all she knew is that she craved death. That's when a cloaked figure appeared.

Mystery Man: We Need you Funeras-To...this much will only kill you if you let it...you WILL live through this, and you WILL come help us...you have no say in the matter

The man removed a Vial from his cloak filled with a substance that Arcana could barely make out in her half consious state. He pulled the sword from her heart and dripped the substance into the wound almost instantly, and before she drifted off into a sleep that lasted an unknown number of days...months...years, she saw the man burn as though he was a ghost that had to be punished.

She awoke to discover the wound completely closed and her physique slightly improved, as she lifted herself off the ground she smelt the decay of death around her as a small Rosary fell from her chest to the ground, she felt something strange from it and so she picked it up. having grown tired of the stench around her she set off, first to find a bath to use as well as a pair of clothes that weren't covered in blood a holes, then to find the man that had given her new life.

"I don't know if I should be pissed that I have to keep living or thankful that I can...I'll decide which one I want when I find him...that man..."

After years of traveling, discovering more about herself, and honing her abilities she discovered the Depths, and got an unfamiliar urge to settle down there for awhile, who knows, perhaps she would find that man...or at least some clues as to who or where he was.

Might wanna know that ZK's beloved Arcanine is named Arcana...

Which means that in a sense I'm named after a dog huh... *sigh*

Real name changed just a bit...thought it might work out better that way, based on my original idea.

SECRET OF THE NAME @_@

The "Funera" part is pronounced the same as the word "Funeral" with like a silent "L" or like if an asian were saying it {no offense to anyone btw}

The "T" in Tos is pronounced like a D {Like in japanese} and the "O" is a long "O" sound like in the word "Ho" =)

So essentially Funera-Tos is Funeral Doors, sure it's a bit of a stretch, but either way that was my plan for this character name, just think of it as Funeral Doors, and pronounce it as close to what you think it's supposed to sound like as possible =) thanks
