Personality: Somewhat shy, yet can be overly excited and dramatic from time to time. If needed she can be a hurtful mean bitch and speak what's on her mind undoubtly talking to anyone in this matter.


History:
Coraline and her parents move into a new apartment. Her parents are always busy with their work and pay her little attention. Isolated, Coraline goes off to explore. She meets the other inhabitants of the house, Ms. Spink and Ms. Forcible, two elderly women retired from the stage, and an even older man, Mr. Bobo, who trains mice to play music. She also encounters a haughty black cat. Coraline walked around her apartment complex in the middle of the night. Earlier that day she was scared about walking in the dark after hours ever since she talked to the two eldery ladies speaking of the alternative world. 'The Realms' they called it, that held grand power at the Cave of Sighs. A grand temple laid behind the waterfall. Yet some think or imagine a temple being a grand structure. The temple was a well, looking into the well's water that nearly overflown the top surface would drag you into the cold surface to the dark realm, were the unknown and your imagination and fears come alive. When she was walking around her apartment complex fearing the great wooden door to appear and take her to the Realms, she was holding a flashlight, which the light was bouncing and shaking over the aged walls. Walking turning the corner of teh hallway, a black cat frightened her, yet pulling herself together she continued to walk around, yet as she turned her face to see infront after the cat frightened her, a large door was infront of her, chained. She was a bit frightened by the story the elders have told her about, but she was curious. Pulling the door knob and swining the door open allowing it to open and crash into the wall, made a small hole in the wall since the walls were ancient. Walking into the dusted dark room, her flashlight barely helping her guide her way around, she swung the light towards the boarded window, seeing something large infront of it. Slowly walking towards the large object she pushed her flashlight infront discovering what it was. "Oh, it's just a suitcase..." scanning the cold dusted surface of teh suitcase with her hands, a loud banging rattled the room. Jumping franticly from her spot, her flashlight fell from her hand, as it rolled the light was revealing another door, with cobwebs everywhere inch of it. Slowly getting up and swiping the dust from her clothing, she walked towards the door. Whipping the webbing off, she noticed the door knob was warm, and not cold like the tempurature of the room. Opening the door, something jumped at her, concealing her body. Her body felt within space flailing to struggle free but to where if she doesn't know where she is or what just happened. Bright colors flashed before her eye's as she would appear within the same identicle room she just wondered in, a woman stood before her. Leaning forward and offering her hand, her eye's were buttons sewn on. It was her mother, yet different...She also sees the cat, which can speak there. "Where am I? Who are you..." Coraline asked. Her alternative looking mother looked at her curling her hand back to her side. "My dear your in the Alternative World, 'The Realms'..."
As hours past her grown to like her other mother more, than her own original one that doesn't bother with her. Her other mother with button eyes, at first seem more interesting, fun and caring than her real parents. At the day's end, Coraline's Other Mother brought her a glass of milk with a plate of cookies. "So, your going to have to leave soon I guess...." Coraline's Other mother looked at her, feeling a bit disappointed. Coraline looked up at her, cookies in her hand a half in her mouth. Quickly swallowing the cookie, she glanced at her other mother. "Um, I'm afraid so....I could always come back tomorrow...". "Or....you could stay here forever....with me, I can play with you and we can have more fun! But the only way is to sew buttons over your eyes...." Her other mother told her, which made Coraline cringe in her seat. "Um, I think I better go now..." Coraline gotten from her seat and rushed towards the closet door which she came from.
Upon her return to her apartment, Coraline finds her real parents are missing. They do not return by the next day, and Coraline, discovering they were kidnapped by her Other Mother, resolves to rescue them. Coraline returns to the Other Mother's world. The Other Mother becomes angry when Coraline refuses to accept gifts or love, and the Other Mother imprisons Coraline behind a mirror as punishment.
"I WANT MY MOTHER NOT YOU!" Coraline balled her eyes out, curling into a ball in the corner of the mirror room. Her other mother entered the mirror into the room, holding her hand at her side, a thread was seen dangling from her palm. "Wh-What are you doing with that!" Coraline was struggling and flailing to push her other mother off of her, yet nothing happened, buttoned her eyes. Her other mother left the room, crying as a door appeared infront of Coraline to allow her to go free, since she wouldn't be the same, her other mother like her real mother didn't want her.
