Lemme Get One of Those Young Ranking Exams!

I guess it's about time yo! I wanna grow a rank. I know it's about time for me to begin moving up those ranks and becoming a supernin! So I wait in some grassy area with a few trees around, nothing much, for a proctor. Come ooooon ranking!

A slow, gentle breeze entered the area, and a pree-ocupied Reia appeared. Not noticing Kero all quite yet, she held what looked like an advanced compas. As sooon as she got into the area, the arrow stopped glowing. Cursing silently, Reia looked up, suprised. "K-kero?" she murmured.

Taking a more authority-giving stance and shoving her compas in her pocket, she adressed him, guessing what he wanted. It was east to tell. There was an air of excitment around him that one might only get from the thrill of battle. But there was always a certain something in people's eyes when they got ranked... It was what she saw in Kero's.

"So... You want a ranking exam, Im assuming, Kero~?" she asked, the grass and the trees swaying slightly as a breeze past through again.

Woah! Is that Reia? It's been quite the while since I saw her last. She's still as cute as ever. But damn it sucks that she's my proctor... I don't think I would have it in me to try to kick her ass. But I do want to rank... Suck it up! "Um... Reia... Hi." I say astounded that such a beautiful girl would just conveniently turn up in front of me like this. "Yeah, I want a ranking... But are you gonna be my proctor?" I scratch my head a bit before Ju, Ka, and Bakunetsumaru pop out from behind my head, They're all ready for the good fight, but I'm still not sure...

Reia frowned, swaying back and forth on her feet. Wasn't the answer to that questiono obvious...? Looking slightly confused, she nodded, smiling. "Of course I am, silly. I was just doing something else on the way here. Didn't know I was ranking you~" she added. Of course, the other thing referred to what she was doing with the compass, but she wasn't dragging Kero into that.

"Oh, cool. Let's do it then!" I punch the air and Kageromaru hops into the air, turning into the ceiling fan he's famous for. I then grab him and rub my nose with my thumb. "Don't expect me to go easy on you!" I yell across the field to Reia, ready for my exam to begin. With that, I whip Kageromaru at Reia and he cuts through the ground, ready to wack her right in the stomach. Battle or not, she's still a girl and she's still cute so I don't want to mess up her face or make her angry.

"...Ceiling...Fan?" Reia murmured, mystified, as Kero begun his exam. Well, whatever. An exam was an exam. Aeros appeared in her hands, staff-form already, and Reia arched backwards, snapping her staff forward like a baseball bat to send Kage flying.

Since Soul Partners weapons were impenetrable, she didn't worry about Aeros denting or anything, no matter how fast the... ceiling fan... might be spinning. Just in case her aim happend to falter, Reia sent a cresent-moon shaped form of below zero winds, locked on to Kage. It'd follow the ceiling fan untill it hit something.

Now, for a little something for Kero too deal with..... Reia took a step backwards, then jumped forwards, the leg she put back flying infront of her, before landing on it, spinning back into her original position. At first it appeared that nothing had happened, but suddenly a soccer-ball sized bustling cphere of wind energy appeared at few hundred feet from Kero, hurtling toward his chest dangerously quick.

Alright! Let's get this show on the road. Kageromaru circles around and keeps on going toward Reia, letting the crescent of wind follow it. The plan is to duck out at the last minute and let the crescent hit her, but I'm almost certain that she's too smart for that. As for the ball of wind flying at me, I take a step forward and force a big blast of chakra from my hand. Sure, it didn't go far and it almost hit me, but it was enough to keep it staved off. I smile, ready for whatever else comes my way. Bring it hottie!

Reia smiles, glad that Kero deflected the blow. Her eyes snapped to alertness as she sensed the wind changed- Kage and her wind cresent were going against the wind direction, so it was easy to pinpoint size and location. Jumping upwards as if to dodge, she pushed her hands through her legs, sending another wind cresent after Kage to sandwhich him in between the two.

Keeping in the air, Reia tossed her staff boomerang style over Kero's head, where it kept spinning faster in mid-air. It began to whip up a vicious wind, and in a matter of moments, there was a hurricane ragingaround and above Kero, almost acting as a cage.

Like a bit of wind can stop me! I use Rotation and begin spinning in the opposite direction of the wind around me. It effectively stops the hurricane around me and I begin to draw chakra to my hands and feet. Kageromaru turns back into the penguin and barely squeezes through the tiny space of normal airand rolls to a stop on the ground. He takes cover behind a tree, out of sight. After the Rotation ends, I rush in at Reia and slash at her with a long chakra blade. If it hits, it would wreck her chakra system.

Reia smirked. This was a rather intersting fight already~. "Ha~!" Reia called, as she formed a giant sheild of kaze stone to block the chakra blade. As soon as the blade hit the shield, the sheild exploded in a blast of harsh winds laced with poison. Reia jumped backwards out of the blast, a circlet of wind over her mouth, fighting of the poisnous winds.

Aeros spun back into her hand, and she spun around, a twister of blue wind swirling around with her, before sending it off in Keros' direction, the blue winds freezing everything they passed in seconds.

Ah fuck I hate the cold... After I regain my composure from being blasted by that fatass explosion, I shake off the hit and dodge roll far to the side, barely dodging being frozen. I smile and let loose a slightly larger "HA~!" as I think that I've one-upped Reia. But... Then the sickness sets in... My stomach begins hurting like hell and my legs begin to shake, but fuck that! I'm still going strong! After I cough that is...

"Ok then! Let's kick this up!" I yell, rushing at Reia with a flurry of quick jabs at her body, loosing chakra with every strike. It's wide enough to hit her even though she may dodge or something. She's on the ropes now I bet.
