Remnants...

Cleff floated into the remains of Sedgar's lab. "Poor machinery... It was some good machinery, too. Cleff remembers this place good... Sigh. What use are you now, poor, poor lab...?" Cleff's eye began to twitch as data and electricity drooled from his mouth "Your use now is... Food. For ME~!!!" Time for Cleff to take in a mass intake of data and electricity and machinery... Ooooh, how good this would be. "I'd better open up my stomach, then, if I'm gonna intake all of this directly... Here goes..." A line split down Cleff's stomach, his tassels became long and claw-like, and his orbs grew to exceptional sizes, glowing quite brightly. It seemed as though everything were beginning to turn into pure data as he did this... Cleff's eyes surged with 0's and 1's as well as green lines, and finally, his stomach split open, revealing the hollow, empty, pitch blackness that was Cleff's insides. Electrical hands surged out of his pit-like stomach and everything that was machinery, data or electricity started to warp, being sucked into Cleff's stomach, being broken up as it did so. Cleff's eyes soon turned fully green as this happened, the vacuum taking in everything within the lab with it... And then finally, it closed. Cleff's body returned to normal, and Cleff's eyes returned to their normal blackened state.. Cleff's eye twitched, as well as his head, a few electrical currents shooting out of his neck "... Maybe... Maybe it was too much...?" Cleff rubbed his tummy "... Nah. C-c-c-c-couldn't be." He didn't notice the lag in his voice, but it didn't matter. Cleff now floated as if he were a drunk... In fact, he wasn't sure he could fly at all "D-d-d-d-d-d-damn... I'll just s-s-st-st-stay here fo-o-o-o-or a little while.. U-u-ntil I can fly right again...n....n..." Cleff sloooowly hovered toward the ground, falling under the remains of something and then going to sleep....

Same days later, Cleff woke up. He didn't feel normal... Not at all. "M-m-m-y... What's wrong wi-i-ith me?" Cleff hovered into the air. He seemed to be able to mvoe fine now. He felt more powerful than ever, as well. But something was still up with his body. He still didn't notice the glitching in his speech. "Maybeeeeeeee I'll just g-g-o-go ask Grave about what's wr-wro-wro-wrong with me, eh? And maybe get a byte to eat... t-t-ttttt-t-t-ttoo..." Cleff would float off, starting to digitize back to the Chaos village. His body was slowly becoming darker and his digitizing was purplish black instead of greenish.
