An Unlocked Power (Visiting Hakku)

*Cross, strolled into the Dusk... he had never been there before but he wanted to seek something new. He hadnt been out of the lab for a bit and decided to go to a place where he had never been. After poking around for a good day or two staying in the Dusk's in, he heard of a new Kage with a new power. He had to investigate. So he found himself outside this respective Kage's office wanted to recieve this new power*

-The door slithered open, and Hakku was there to greet her guest.-
"Hello. You can here to gain an anti-akuma weapon have you not?"
-She opened the door all the way, and walked deeper into her office which would reveal a second story. On this second floor a majestic green glow radiated freely into the room. She continued up the stairs as if she intended Cross to follow.-

*Cross sighed as he walked up the stairs, every kage knows everything you are going do to before you do it. He followed up Hakku up the stairs with his hands on his guns just in case anything were to pop off, it was an assassins instinct almost natural.*

Yeah, I am...

*He wondered what he was getting into, he was real anxious but kept his cool about him.*

-Upon reaching the top, Hakku was greeted by Hevlaska, an extremely powerful exorcist.-

Hevlaska: Good evening Hakku. Your guest requests an anti-akuma weapon correct?

Hakku: Yes, now, would you be so kind as to get the innocence ready?

Hevlaska: It already is.

-Hevlaska looked at the guy, sensing a cold focus of energy from him. He must excell in whatever it is that he does, for most people with this look are dedicated to there line of duty.-

Hakku: Which weapon did you want to have the innocence embedded into?

-She caught a glimpse of the gun he gripped in his hand, if only a peek.-

"Will it be those pistols of yours?

*What a weird ass looking thing this thing was. Exorcist? What the hell? Questions... here we go again. Cross nodded as he took his two pistols he aquired from his father and uncle out of their respective holsters, and and hand them to Hakku. He then crossed his arms and awaited to see what would happen next*

-Hakku nodded back in acknowledgement of Cross, and held the guns over her head. Strands of Hevlaska's hair came and abducted the guns while she reached into her body and pulled out a green cude like crystal that was known as innocence. She pushed the innocence towards the guns, and eventually the cube would converge onto the guns, altering their appearance. (You can add a picture for the new looking guns if you please) This dual anti-akuma weapon was suspended in mid-air, right over Hevlaska's cupped hands. Suddenly, her hair went and picked up Cross.-

Hevlaska: Do not worry, this is all part of the process.

-She said in a respectful and calm tone. The guns drifted into Cross' hands, sending a sudden shocking sensation through his body. It was nothing to be afraid of however.-

Hevlaska: The innocence is trying to sychronize itself with you, which will then allow you to use these pistols. Please bare with me.

(Now roll a 6 sided die for "chain roll". I did not add synchronization yet to the chances #1, Sorry.)

*Cross was completely werided out, but did not let it show on his face. He kept the same plain old face on like he usually did. But what he deduced was, that basically... his pistols, were kinda alive in a sense. Awakened by this thing called 'Innocence' that gave it power. He wanted his guns to synch with him*

No.. -zzzzt- problem...

*He said, he realxed and tried to let it happen*

-As Hevlaska finished, she would gently set down Cross on his feet. She faced his direction, although whether she was staring at him or not was a complete mystery.-

Hakku: Something wrong Hevlaska?

Hevlaska: This guy, his synchronization rate is already at 6%. Thats the highest for those whom just started out.

Hakku: I see.

-Hakku pondered once again. He did seem strong willed, keeping his cool in all situations. It may be because of that that his weapons can sync with him so easily.-

Hakku: Now that your weapons have become anti-akuma weapons, they now hold a powerful ability. Try firing at me, and we can both see what ability it possesses.

-She stood staring down Cross. It would be interesting to experience what ability it is rather than simply observing.-

*Cross... felt... violated really really violated. But, he felt as if he was holding power in his hands, his guns surely didnt feel like they used to, albeit they used to way 40 pounds a piece. Cross tossed em up and looked in the chamber, they were loaded. he took out a bullet and inspected it. It was all black, he bit it... tasted it... Cross was a weaponsmith, so he had to know these things. The metal, if it was metal, was unlike anything he had ever experienced. What the fuck were these things. While inspecting the bullet, he fired towards Hakku with his other pistol four bullets that were the same long black kind that were in the gun left the chamber and flew towards Hakku, they rippled through the air faster than ever before. He shot Hakku without hesitation.*

--As the bullets made contact with Hakku, two of them latched onto her body while excerting the same force any normal gun qould, sending her back a few inches, while the other two bullets hit her regularly. With Hakku not being human, the extra two bullets left indents on her skin then fell off, but the other two stayed, giving a leech like appearance on Hakku's body. She stood expressionless for a second, then her eyes opened slightly wider, as if she figured something out. Hevlaska turned to Hakku, speaking in a semi-worried tone.-

Hevlaska: Hakku, are you alright?

Hakku: ...Yes. These, bullets-
-She grabbed them with her hands, getting mildly shocked from touching them directly, forcefully ripping them off. She had two tears in the skin where they were ripped off, showing they stick about two layers into the skin-making removal painful. The wounds began to heal up as Hakku, looked at the long black bullets in her hands.-

Hakku: They seem to drain the energy of what they stick to. Even as I hold them now, I'm losing more and more energy.

-She dropped the bullets and they would dissipate before touching the ground. An interesting, yet potentially fatal ability. She seemed fine despite having energy drained, which would show that she has quite a large energy pool.-

Hakku: What is your name? You you are unlike many I have met before.

So the bullets are parasitic... and they dissapate upon removal but keep their density when attached to the opponent. The first two bullets that are fired are the parasitic kind, but their visual appearance does not differ from the average bullet. And to make it furtherly complicated they go ridiculously fast and continue to drain the opponent by physical contact. I wonder what would happen, if I add the lightning flame into the mix

*Cross starred intently at the events that transpired, he was already concocting some strategies for this new development. He liked it... a lot. But what intrigued him more was what this shit was mde out of. He had to know when he got the chance. It cant be that innocence junk, cross smirked as he thought to himself, his ring lit ablaze as he was about to fire his guns again... but contained himself. It was obvious that by the look in his eyes he had the intent to shoot Hakku again.*

My name... is Cross. Chuunin of the Twilight, and now apparantly your Exorscist.

"Cross, like the holy item that can banish evil spirits. Your demeanor fits the exorcist title well. My name is Hakku Tan'O, new Kage of the the new village, the Dusk."

-She sensed his murderous intent, knowing he had an idea to shoot her again. Despite her quick healing properties, getting shot at all day was not apart of her agenda.-

"You will be helpful in exterminating future akuma."

-She held out her hand as a silver looking staff digitized into her hand.-

"Do you intend to stay and test out your weapon a bit more, or do you wish to leave and conduct your experiments elsewhere?"

(I have to log off now, so if you do stay, I won't be able to continue until tomorrow.)

I wish to stay... I would like to learn more about what just happend to my guns, and what I have now become.

*Cross didn't put his guns back, but waited for Hakku to give him another directive. If she didn't then he would let the questions flow. But at the end of the day, his questions were going to get answered. He gripped his guns ever so tighter, he was liking the feel of them*

"Very well."
-She calmly said. A guillotine blade would protrude through the staff's tip, giving it a form more similar to a naginata.-
"You seemed to have analyzed what exactly your guns do. I can tell by the wisps of data flowing through your mind that you have some questions about all of this."

*Cross put his guns back even though Hakku drew a blade, he was pretty sure that she wasnt going to attack him without warning. She seemed nothing like Kham*

Well, yeah... but most of it I've already infered. Like I'm pretty sure an Exorscist is more than just those guys in those wacky movies who banish demons from people, and I'm also sure that my guns are made out of innocence. But I've confused as to what is Innocence, and what exactly is an Exorcist? And what the hell are my bullets made out of?

-With a twirl of her naginata, she plunged it into the ground to free her hands.-
"As exorcist one would expect the power to banish demons and such, but there is more to it. Innocence also has the power to weaken and potentially cancel out with the supernatural, like many different types of energy. Innocence has a great resistance to those type of things, so you can expect it to do more than simply exorcise an ectoplasmic being. As for Innocence itself, my knowledge of it can only go so far with it being around before Rozalyn created me years ago."
-She continued on with Cross' questions. She was never settled with telling one she didn't know.-
"However, I do know that Innocence was accompanied by the arrival of the Mellinium Earl, who seeks to destroy all Innocence in order to take control of all life on the planet. He is said to be able to create and control armies of akuma on various different levels of strength. Although akuma do exist all over this planet, it isn't for certain if this Earl being is the one deploying them. Due to my lack of information on the subject, I cannot confirm such a myth. For safety measures, do be careful; I'd find it logical that there was something out there that wants such a powerful source destroyed."
- She waited for him to respond. It'd be reasonable if he had questions on all that was brought to light.-

So let me get this straight... We the Exorcists, destroy these Akuma and the supernatural banishing these evil spirits that the 'Earl' allegedly controls. Because if we don't, he just might 'allegedly' take over the world and all human life along with it with his giant army of akuma.

*Cross looked at the guns on his sides, and internalized the 'taste' of innocence... it was intriguing, he wanted the ability to make more of these anti akuma weapons, but he was pretty positive that in order to make those, he had to become fathoms powerful like the thing that violated him earlier*

This Innocence, this supernatural substance is what gives us our power, and what the earl seeks to destroy, but with it... we can destroy him as well.... I wish to see what an Akuma looks like.

*Cross said simply, he wanted to fight one... now*

-She nodded slightly.-
"Correct, but as I said: I cannot confirm such things yet. Rozalyn had notted minor activity, but not enough to build a solid hypothesis. Although, with the distribution of innocence now, it may be possible that sightings of such creatures will come to light."
-Hevlaska turned to Hakku, taking to mind what she said.-

Hevlaska: It may be good that the Earl hasn't surfaced anywhere, but it worries me. What is being done in all this time of inactivity.

Hakku: I cannot answer your question Hevlaska, but maybe-

-Hakku thought aloud for a second.-

"Once we have more exorcist in our hands, we can have a mission to scout this world for any sightings of akuma or traces of the Earl. When that time comes, I will be counting on you Cross."

*Cross asserted himself even more, he knew that he could at least do something that combined using his assasin skills and his newly aquired exorcist powers.*

I understand your need for worry, but I'm an assasin... espionage is what I do. But I understand. I thinks thats all I have for now. Do you have any more use for me?

"No, I do not."
-She said monotonically. She faced Cross, asking a question.-
"May you be escorted out? Or do you have something you want to know?"

Nah, I'm good...

*Cross inhaled, exhaled, turned around and started walking off. He waved his hand behind him in departure*

Later, call me if you need me to do stuff!

"Certainly."
-She would say as he left out. She now went to attend to her business.-
