Looking for the weapons guy....

*Cross cocked the gun slowly, letting the resulting 'click' sound resonate throughout the lab (you should look at the picture of my guns man...). He returned the smile, but then got serious. He knew he was better, and wouldn't be bested at his own craft!*

"I always get what I want..."

*With that, Cross ducked, moving faster than lighting. He pointed the gun upwards as he ducked and fired towards Hollow's abdomen in one smooth motion*

-Hollow had disappeared again. As soon as cross made a move she made her own disappearing in a poof of shadow again reappearing next to him this time. She rested pearls tip on the shoulder of the arm he used to shoot and fired a bullet of concentrated chakra into his arm-

Cross' Shit


*Cross shifted his elbow upwards throwing Hollow's shot a bit off balance causing her to shoot into the roof of the lab, this disappearing act by Hollow would get annoying fast. Cross burst into a back flip over Hollow, shooting her over and over as he was passing over her crouched body*

-Hollow dodged the first couple bullets then shot at the rest aiming so that her bullets would collide precisely. The bullets she fired now were pure myou myaku which would corrupt the and then deteriorate them appropriately. She then grabbed Glamour as well and started shooting diamond bullets towards Cross' chest and saved the aimimg of pearl for whichever direction cross decided to go-

*Cross who was still in the air, noted the use of some kind of chakra... hmph. He let the diamond bullets hit him as they seemed to have no affect. He absorbed the kinetic energy of the impact and channeled it into his guns for full impact shots. He landed on the ground and looked at hollow*

"Diamond? And chakra the same as Nagase.... I guess I should use some of my special stuff too then."

*Cross, with his guns still extended... fired again, this time the bullets would have the added affect of the absorbed kinetic energy increasing their power, making the shots VERY concussive... it was like it was shock wave blasts shooting out of Cross' guns that were very wide and strong, it was strong enough to destroy every bone in Hollow's body and the blast was about 6 feet wide*

-Hollow fired a bullet of myou myaku with enough condensed power that it would have a similar effect to his blast and would absorb the shock before it reached her-

Is that all?

-She taunted firing a round of bullets fashioned out of condensed black lightning shooting at him from the floor up-

*Cross simply used the shockwave as a distraction, knowing that Hollow would flaunt around her powers and simply do away with it. Right now she was off guard, and now was the time to strike. Upon firing the shockwave Cross disappeared, by the time hollow had fired her chakra thing to absorb it, the trap was already set up. 8-10 cross' appeared around hollow with their guns to different parts of her body by the time she fired some lightning blast at the point where she thought Cross was.*

"It was a setup...."

*They fired, point blank range shots of pwnage that would rend Hollow's body to Cross' liking hopefully. He was only using a mere fraction of his power. This should do the trick*

-Hollow had a feeling that the blast wasn't his true attack. Something so blunt was too easily countered. Hollows father had taught her to never have a blind-spot or leave an opening and now would be no different. In training with her father in all his sudden death matches she had developed a stance and technique that would allow her to counter every shot with a bullet of her own and shoot every version of Cross as well. While she shot at him with pearl she had exchanged glamour for a gun materialized out of myou myaku and shot bullets now made only of myou kiss to ensure the destruction of both cross and his bullets. She aimed every round for his abdomen(s)-

*The Cross' took the bullet's but it seemed to fly right through them!? How do you ask? This was one of Cross' Pandora Briefcase transformations, the illusion projector which allowed him to make an illusion of whatever he chooses, this particular time, he decided to choose himself. They were fake, and so were their attacks. But they faked Hollow out, that's that mattered. The real Cross on the other hand was sitting in his chair in front of the computer, he had not been there the whole time, he had his longshot sniper rifle in his hand as Hollow did some fancy maneuver to stop from being shot.*

"That was a set up too...."

*He said under his breath, he fired at the distracted and very busy hollow, a single bullet at speeds incalculable zoomed across the lab flying through one of the Cross illusions into the belly of Hollow. He figured this would be full proof. If not, then he would just be away with her with some of his other abilities.*

-Hollow noticed with the first couple shots that the bullets didn't make the familiar sound of pierced flesh. She suspected some form trickery on Cross' part though couldn't be quite sure of what it was. She continued shooting what she presumed to be clones or some sort of illusion to portray they she still believed them to be some form of Cross. She began to eminate myou kiss from her body presuming that he intended to shoot her from some point beyond the images while she busied herself with his clones. She felt a bullets come towards her stomach and immediately shot a round of bullets from which it came not worrying about the shot to her stomach as myou kiss chakra would have easily corrupted and destroyed the bullet-

*Cross' long shot rifle transformed back into his 'Satan Claw', he presumed the battle won for the bullet that Hollow presumed corrupted and destroyed was one of Cross' special bullets... one made out of innocence, the purest substance in the cosmos which cannot be corrupted nor destroyed by such means, such is the power of innocence, even the potencies of Makia Chakra cannot do away with it's purity.*

"Nice try... but this one is special."

*Hes said as he smirked, the bullet of innocence would then power through the strong chakras and pierce Hollow's hide. The sound was pleasing, her face was priceless... a face of pure indifference, it's these moments that Cross lives for.*

-Hollow felt the impact of the bullet but did not flinch. She lowered her weapon. Her first feeling was anger, and then disappointment that she had lost, but then there was curiosity and almost admiration at what substance would bypass the combination of draining kiss and myou myaku. She flipped Pearl back into its holster and the chakra based gun disappeared. She looked at cross-

Nice.

-She spoke now with sincerity rather than the cynicism she was known for-

And what material is it that can bypass my chakra? If you dont mind me asking.

*Cross slowly reached over to pick up Hollow's box weapon, he placed it on his belt as he rose from his hair. His eyes fixated on the spectacle. He walked over to hollow as he began to explain to her the powers that he posses.*

"I possess 5 types of bullets, that bullet was made out of Innocence. As the name implies it is an entirely pure substance, designed to combat corruption and such. Your powers can indeed weaken it, I could feel it.... but I pushed through with just enough force in the end. If I would have used the lightning flame, it would have pierced right through you."

*Cross handed hollow the box weapon. The surprise she wanted...*

"Tell me what you think of it."

-Hollow put her hand to her wound for a moment surging myou myaku into the area to help it heal faster. She then took the box from Cross and turned it in her hands examining it. She then held it up and inserted her ring as she had seen Cross do earlier. She was taken aback as something flew out of box at light speed zipping around the room then finding its way down the back of her shirt. She scrambled around clumsily for a moment trying to catch it or at least catch site of it-

What the fu-

-She was caught by the site of what looked something like a garden snake kissing the tip of her nose and then staring her in the face as it arose from the front of her top. She eyed it strangely-

Its....a worm?

-she guessed staring at the weird animal-

"Wrong... a pipe-fox."

*Cross said as he returned to it's seat.*

"It has its own special abilities as well. It's up to you to learn them."

A fox?!

-She said aggressively, disbelieving his claim as the furry worm creature wrapped around her neck and nuzzled her cheek-

It's no thicker than my finger!

-The pipe fox began kissing her cheek profusely. She swatted it away with her hand, but it would not be swayed. Little hearts seemed to appear around its head the same color as her storm flame as it continued to kiss her and she continued trying to move away in disgust at its overwhelming show of affection-

And why's it doing that?

"Apparently it likes you..."

*Cross said as he gazed upon the spectacle.*

-Hollow sighed and turned to look at the pipe fox and it kissed her on the nose again. She sighed, wondering if she had made the right decision-

Are freak animals the only thing that come out of these boxes?

"Freak animals of all shapes and sizes. You will come to appreciate it in time trust me."

*Cross turned round and took out a couple more boxes, these were for Zeik. He tossed them to hollow*

"Return these to your love interest.... The Cursed Flame for me."

*How cross knew that Hollow and Zeik had been... fraternizing was beyond Hollow. But Cross had his ways*

-Hollow flinched at the mention of Zeik's name as she caught the boxes-

Love...interest...?

-She said the words slowly pondering over the connotation in her head. In truth she had no idea what the word meant. She had had it spoken to her before but only from people who seemed to want something from her or her father and therefore had deemed it as merely a word one used to manipulate ones feeling and therefore deemed it stupid and never used the word herself. She wondered for a moment what cross believed her relationship with Zeik was.-

I guess...

-A nocturnal servant appeared next to her rising from a dark spot in the floor. She bowed to Hollow as she handed her the boxes-

Take these to Zeik

-The servant simply nodded and sunk back into the floor as it headed to its destination. Hollow looked at the pipe fox one more time and it kissed her forehead. For a moment she wondered if you could kill a box animal. She turned her back on Cross and walked toward-

I guess my business with you is done...for now.

-She gave a slight wave to Cross as she walked out the door having hinted at a rematch-
