Dropping off Cross' body

-Hollow appeared in the office where she had met Cross before. He was laying on the floor in the same position she had found him. Hollow looked at him for a moment. She would have rather left him there and be done with it but if he died here then there wasn't much purpose in taking him back here. She closed her eyes and placed her hand on his forehead and focused on pulsing myou myaku through his body, just enough to help replenish his chakra enough to regain consciousness-

*Cross woke up and coughed some more blood the moment hollow pressed her hands to his forehead, he sat up from his position drowning in his cesspool of blood. He reached in his back pocket while coughing up some more blood and pulled out a syringe. he gave it to hollow...*

"Shove this in me.... now"

*He said, this LYFE syringe... would undo the wounds*

-Hollow took the syringe almost too happy at the chance to shove it into the body of the weirdo that shot her. Though even to her surprise rather than stabbing him aggressively with it she stuck it into his arm with almost an heir of tenderness-

*The LYFE syringe was filled with chrono chakra, the essence of time. When injected into the body in recalls the body to a time of perfect homeostasis. Basically, Cross' body rewound itself to the period before the battle. He was perfectly healed, but apparently the wounds inflicted by the dark force were timeless so the scars would have to heal themselves.*

"Thank you... Why did you save me?"

*He said as he shook his head regaining his composure. he laid back down on the ground. on hollow's thigh looking up into her eyes*

-Hollow took a breath. Cross being so close to her made her uncomfortable. His head on her lap seemed out of character and out of place and therefore made her even more uncomfortable. Though she couldn't think of a way to push him away without being rude and she wasn't in the mood for another gunfight at the moment. She looked away from him as she talked and kept her right hand on one of her holsters just in case.-

*Well, the true reason as to why Cross laid here was because the toxins of poi paralyzed him in this position. He would lay here until they wore off, this was very uncomfortable for him as well. He didnt want to be close to someone so.... 'bitter sweet'*

"Well... Im pretty sure your enjoying this."

-Hollow, considering Cross' personality assumed he was referring to watching him suffer rather than the fact that his head was resting in her lap-

I suppose I should...

-She looked down at him for a moment and considered he might be poisoned or something seeing as he didn't move much. She touched his shoulder for a second sending another pulse of myou myaku through his system to help break down any toxins.-

How do you feel?

*Cross chuckled as he coughed up some more blood. He was starting to get feeling in his arm back.*

"I'm fine... I'm starting to get feeling in my good arm. Don't you enjoy seeing me suffer?"

*He said, using his good arm he reached into his back pocket, pulling out a really hi tech screw driver, he began to fix his mechanical arm. The satan claw...*

-Hollow looked away as he coughed up blood and some of it splattered onto her jeans. She hated getting her clothes dirty which was part of the reason she preferred to fight with Draining Kiss, myou myaku and guns that shoot long range...No mess.-

Why should I care, 'cause you shot me?

-Hollow rolled her eyes at the implication-

What do you take me for? Some petty kid?

*Cross had taken a major blow to his ego from shinta, at this point he was really vulnerable and out of character. Shinta had made him..... angry.... no one knocks him off his rocker.*

"You don't seem like the battle ready type. The type to take a bullet."

*Cross could feel his toes now, he moved them in his shoes.*

-Hollow looked Cross eye to eye, her expression the same as always but her tone was laced with anger-

What do you mean?

"I mean... you probably think I'm some crazy sociopath who shoots for fun. We all prejudge."

*Cross said "as a matter of factually." He could fully move his good arm.*

-Hollow rolled her eyes as she was about 99% sure that he was indeed a sociopath who shot people for fun. But she digressed. She was started to become anxious with him laying on her. It made all her battle senses go off which made her body tense and uncomfortable-

Are you okay now? If I leave you here your not gonna die or be stuck on the floor or something, right?

-she asked sounding impatient-

*Cross sighed, he still couldnt move his spine but if Hollow wanted to go then she could go*

"I'll be fine... You act like you want to leave. Figures "

-Hollow noticed that he spoke this and yet still made no attempt to get off of her. She figured he must still be too hurt to make any major movement. She blamed Kurai for this, for bringing her emotions forth. She took a breath and calmed herself with the thought that at least with him immobilized this way she had an upper hand if he tried anything-

Sorry...

-she spoke, attempting to be nice again which she found surprisingly difficult with every person she encountered-

...I'm sure you can understand how you...being so close...would put me on edge. But i'll stay until your fully mobile, as long as you dont try to shoot me or something...

*Cross smirked a bit before seeping into his dark masochist thoughts.*

"I've had my fill of seeing your beautiful body writhe in my pleasure Hollow. I loved it... thank you for providing it for me."

*He said with a sexual sarcastic tinge...*

-Hollow laughed and shook her head. She found it amusing how he described the feeling of shooting her as if it were lustful sex-

You are seriously twisted...

*Cross was starting to get social... which is something he rarely does. But he was kinda fond of her anyway he continued talking.*

"Twisted... hardly, it's both a blessing and a curse."

-Hollow looked at him, confused-

How is that?

"I can never contain by blood lust... and yet, it drives me to be good at my craft. It's like im a vampire without fangs."

*He said, it was his only attempt at a joke.*

I see...

-Hollow started to feel oddly comfortable, even letting her hand slip away from the holster unconsciously. She had never sat around and held idle conversation before, besides her father of course. She chuckled a little to herself as she realized that the first person she had really engaged in conversation was a maniac who got off on shooting her-

*Cross sighed, movement was restored in his body... but he wanted to stay, and he could tell Hollow wanted to stay too.*

"So, I noticed you're a demon."

-Hollow blinked, giving Cross an odd look-

Yeah, and?

"How's the demon life. Fire and brimstone...."

*Cross said, he looked up at hollows face, her gaze seemed to meet his.*

-Hollow laughed again-
