Almost There..

+_After her training session with Tear, Leia found herself within the hidden caverns. She was walking about the area with her hands in her pockets, and jacket bundled completely up. It was rather cold in here, but Leia's drive kept her warm. This was her final reaping. She was almost ready to become a DeathScythe.+_

As she entered the cave, she would be almost immediately greeted by a Tonberry. It didn't seem to want her to go any further than itself. The Tonberry was ready to play, for its violent and malicious ways were starting to come into play.



The Tonberry immediately started to conjure up some sort of ability with lantern in hand, holding its large butcher knife with great force. Some sort of evil, dark magic swirled about its area and ghastly flames began to flow around it...

+_Leia would stop in her tracks as she looked upon the beast. Her head rose a little at the sight of it, but she refused to take it lightly. She would activate soul perception, as she looked at the creature.+_

"How many souls do you think you're worth..?"

+_She said sarcastically. After she spoke she would inhale deeply and exhale just as deeply. This would cause her wavelength to come from her mouth. Her soul wavelength took the form of a black, wispy, smog that once it left her mouth, would spread about the area quite quickly. She kept her hands in her pockets.+_

The Tonberry started off with its Stalk ability, locking on to Leia in every fashion, stalking her, in a sense. Then the fires grew large once a target was chosen to Stalk. After that, Leia would be susceptible to the deadly attacks of the Tonberry. 8 flames circled around the Tonberry, one of them taking in all of the wispiness into itself and destroying it. Somehow, however, Leia would feel the effects of this attack on her very life essence... the Tonberry's deadly Voodoo attack.

Now there were only 7 flames circling around the Tonberry, ready to defend at will. It started to walk slooooowwwly toward Leia, slower than a turtle, actually. It still held its knife firm and menacingly. It wanted to stab right into her heart with it. The flames... they danced gracefully about.

+_Leia would look upon the thing with a bit of fear. She would take a step back as she figured being close to thing would cause this feeling of being drained to only worsen. As a remedy to this however, Leia would just begin doing self resonance, causing her soul to swell and enlarge. Everything caught within range of her wavelength was instantly robbed of it's essence, and would suffer the sensation of death, giving her the essence she stole from the area.(described better in my soul weapons list). Leia's soul would grow and grow.+_

(Can't make the last one easy, can I?)

The Tonberry viewed her Soul Wavelength swelling, as Tonberries had to deal with spiritual things on a natural basis all the time, especially with most of their attacks. Therefore, it would send out yet another Voodoo flame from surrounding itself as it sloooooowwwwly came closer to Leia, having the flame take in her wavelength once again, making the same terrible effects of the Voodoo happen once more. A second flame would die and it would harm Leia's very essence. 6 more flames floated around the Tonberry, its knife gleaming brightly. It was sooooo sloooowww, but once it made its way to Leia's position, there would be all but hell to pay. Beware the dancing flames.

+_This time, Leia was forced to the ground due to the sharp crippling amount of pain she felt. She clenched her chest as she looked up at the thing, as it seemed to be immune to the majority of her soul wavelength. She then looked at the ground and looked at the thing and smiled.+_

"Soul Menace.."

+_She said as her hand was already on the ground. Her hand crackled with a pitch black energy as the entire ground seemed to jolt with the same energy, specifically under the tonberry's feet. This would cause the creature to fall into a water well like hole. She couldn't figure out how to fight something that couldn't be hurt, nor did she feel like it. She then sat down on her ass and caught her breath. She was being lazy again..and she hated it.+_

The Tonberry, not being such a good monster at being mobile, would fall without warning into the ground, thus seemingly ending Leia's endeavors with it.. However, there would be a massive explosion under the groundwhich would not only totally destroy the ground Leia stood on in its entirety, but actually pushed the Tonberry back up into the air. It was a Flare spell of great proportions. Unless Leia could fly, she'd be falling down, too with the Tonberry still having 6 Voodoo flames left. Tonberries were the most persistent monsters when they got to Stalk someone, so it wasn't giving up until Leia was dead.

"Shiiiit."

+_Leia, unfortunately, could not fly. She fell head first to into the earth, but she wasn't panicking. She was thinking of a way out of this situation, but couldn't come up with anything. So, as a safety precaution, she caused several blades to jut from her back and arms._+

The Tonberry was free-falling next to her, this time, as it took its large, glowing knife and tried to stab at her... repeatedly with it in numerous different places, in spite of the scythes. It only did this because it knew that the Voodoo would take the hit for it and cause Leia more pain, so it figured that it would just take advantage of the situation and... try to stab her to death.

*_Leia would block each individual strike, and would palm thrust the tonberry in the head, giving her distance. Although, it wasn't very painful, she she did so with force and with breakneck speeds. She hoped to get some distance from it, she still didn't know to fight it._*

Of course, the Tonberry did not have the capacity to dodge such an attack, and with its current assault, it wasn't like it wasn't going to work. Upon being palmed, however, it swiftly stuck its knife into Leia's arm before being palmed away, causing its neck to basically snap. It rolled off into the darkness after that, the Voodoo flames fading now, but with Leia suffering the power of the Chef's Knife. That one stab should have brought her down to an eighth of her overall stamina/vitality.

"Ah fuck.."

+_Leia said, blood spilling from her wrist. She felt her power get slashed and stripped from her. It felt as though she only had 10 souls. While still free falling, she would extend her arm to the wall. She turned. Her hand into a blade and stuck it into it, using it to slow her defending acceleration to a halt. She looked down into the darkness, where the body of the creature fell. She felt it's neck break in her palms. Was it dead? She wasn't sure. She activated her soul perception that caused her eyes to sink into a pool of black. She searched for it's soul.+_

"Damn. I don't think I can do this much longer. "

... The soul of the Tonberry would appear from the ground seeing its body, hopes and dreams all smashed to pieces. The soul was worth 11 normal ones.

+_Leia would absorb the soul and feel the power coarse through her.+_

"I'm almost there.."

+_She said as she let go of the wall, feeling fully restored. She vanished.+_
