The Lair of the True Medusa

{Hebi would appear within the area with Kobura wrapped around his body and Amuira already in her weapon form strapped to Hebi’s side. The area they were in appeared to be a large open savanna, quiet, seemingly void of all forms of life. Although Hebi would begin to walk forward into the seeming almost endless emptiness of this area as if he knew exactly where he was going. After walking for sometime still maintaining her sword form Amuira would begin to speak to Hebi though the mental connection they had to each other.}

Amuria- Hebi-san how much longer are we going to wander though this emptiness?

{Hebi would not answer Amuria’s question but would instead continue to move forward though the area one step at a time. Soon enough Hebi would now be walking though a large rocky area full of many strange rock formations which would have many human and animal like appearances. As Hebi would continue to walk through the area finally tired of being ignored Amuria would change from her weapon form into her human form appearing right in front of Hebi to keep him from moving any further with her hands on her hips with a very annoyed look on her face.}

Amuria- Okay Hebi-san I refuse to go any further until you tell me why we are even hear in the empty area, I mean what possible reason could you have for coming into this area there is nothing hear but a pile of rocks!!

{Hebi would simply stand there a moment having a stare down with Amuria which was something the two did a lot from time to time trying to wear each other down to either talk or drop the conversation. Although after a few moment Hebi would sigh because he could tell he would not win this stare down and would have to tell Amuria what they were going to be doing in this area.}

Hebi- Amuria have you heard about the pact beast which a few ninja in vescrutia have obtained?

Amuria- Yes why.

Hebi- Well I thought they were interesting so, I plan to get my own pact best for my own use.

Amuria- Really!? Well who are you trying to make your pact beast anyway?

{Hebi would walk over to one of the strange rock formations and would then turn it around toward Amuria. Amuria would be show signs of begin shocked as the rock formation would have a human face on it which was full of terror. Hebi would then actually crack light insanity filled smile as he would then begin to speak.}

Hebi- Well I’m going after the Gorgon Medusa.

{After saying this Amuria would stand staring at Hebi for a moment before she would simply nod and return to her weapon form and would reattach to Hebi’s back as he would continue forward toward Medusa’s layer. After a while going passed more stone human they would finally arrive at a large cave entrance which was surrounded by large creature turned to stone which acted like entrance decorations. Hebi would take a deep breath for a moment and would begin to gather energy as he would completely close his eye for obvious reasons. After a moment the energy around Hebi would disappear and he would release a breath and a long snake tongue would also appear from his mouth which would allow Hebi to see without opening his eyes. Hebi would then draw Amuria and de-summon Kobura before entering the cave ready to face Medusa if he had to. Hebi would walk down a long path way after entering the cave until entering a large arena like area surrounded by a large ocean of lava. As Hebi would slowly move toward the center of the arena the sound of something rather large could be heard moving around the rubble and stone bodies. Hebi would stop and would stand still looking around the area with his tongue trying to feel Medusa’s body heat. Although it would seem taking on the appearance of snake also granted her with the cold blood of one making her completely invisible to Hebi since Hebi was not really good at that Soul Perception stuff.}

????- Hahahaha how rare for me to get visitors.

Amuria- This is exactly why I said we had to better our Soul Perception.

{Hebi would take the moment of silence to slam Amuria on a very hard rock to cause a large amount of vibration to shake though her body. Suddenly before Hebi could react what seemed to be a large snake would appear and instantly wrap around Hebi holding him tightly. Although as the snake stopped moving and centered on Hebi to one who could see while there was a snake body wrapped around Hebi the body ended with the upper body of a women with snaked for hair which meant it was the real Medusa.}


Medusa- Tell me boy what compels you to actually enter my layer where death is only a gaze away.

{Hebi would remain silent for a moment as he would begin to think of some way out of this situation without having to kill Medusa or being killed himself. Medusa would not take this silence well as she would then begin to slam Hebi around the area for a few minutes trying not only to get him to open his eyes but teach him a lesson about not speaking when spoken to. After thrashing Hebi around for a few minutes Medusa would bring Hebi back to her face.}

Medusa- I ask once more why are you here?

{Hebi would cough up some blood as Medusa would begin to tighten her grip around Hebi trying to make him talk. Hebi would finally hold up one of his free hands to signify that he was ready to talk to Medusa. Seeing this motion Medusa would loosen her grip around Hebi allowing him to speak.}

Hebi- Please forgive for entering your home but I came to ask for you assistance in a matter you might find interesting.

Medusa- Really continue to speak boy.

Hebi- In my village there is a witch who use your name who want to destroy everything but she is too powerful for me to defeat so I have come to ask you not to deal with her but to join me in mind, body, and soul to kill the witch which badly brings disgrace to your name.

{Medusa would stand in shock from all that Hebi had told her and would simply turn around to think to herself while she would still hold Hebi in her grasp. Medusa was just given a large amount of information and while Hebi’s proposal to join with him would normally cause her to instantly kill him the rest of his statement about the witch who contained the same name would be more pressing at the moment. Although after a moment Hebi would be released from Medusa’s long tail and he would fall to the ground gasping for air. Amuria was about to change back to normal but Hebi would motion her to not as it was too dangerous at the moment. Medusa would finally turn around toward Hebi who would now be standing on his feet although he would not be directly facing Medusa as he still could not see her. Medusa would slither toward Hebi as the eyes on her snakes would begin to lightly glow for some strange reason.}

Medusa- Well boy if you want to become one with me there is only one thing you have to do…

Hebi- What you that be?

Medusa- Open your eyes and take a long look into mine. They say the eyes are windows to the soul so by opening yours to me I can then enter yours and become one.

{Hebi would show a dull but shocked expression on his face and in his soul Amuria would be constantly telling Hebi not to do it. Although Hebi would draw Amuria and with a shock to Amuria and even Medusa, in one motion Hebi would throw Amuria completely out of the cave as he would turn back to face Medusa who would have a large smile on her face.}

Medusa- Well that was unexpected but be aware boy there is a price for obtaining me.

Hebi- I understand.

{Hebi would say this dully as Hebi would open his eye toward Medusa and would be shocked to see that Medusa’s eyes where closed shut. Although the snakes would release a strange light that would cause Hebi’s eye to glow white as Medusa would then open her own eyes causing the area they were in to glow with a large amount of light. Amuria would appear in the air after the bright light had faded away and on the ground Amuria would find Hebi laying on the ground.}

Amuria- HEBI-SAN!!!!!!!!! Are you okay?

{Hebi would begin to slowly stand up as the collar of Hebi’s jacket would begin to burn with black fire as Medusa’s voice would begin to echo though the area which was from within Hebi’s soul which Amuria could hear loud and clear. It seems Medusa had placed herself deep within Hebi’s soul to be summoned when he wished.}

Medusa- Are pact has been made you are gifted with my abilities. From this moment on Hebi Mibae is no longer of this world, you shall be known as Hebi Gorgon.

{Hebi would look at his hand for a moment and would look hand for a long while for some reason. Amuria would walk toward Hebi trying to put the fire out on his jacket but would set back as she would see why Hebi was looking at his hand for so long.}

Hebi- I see so this is my Pact Price, but I have to admit I feel more powerful and I can hear and smell things around me much better.

{Hebi indeed could not see but it was not that his was just blind but his eyes were completely empty with no iris or pupils just plain white eyes.}


{Amuria would remain silent for a while before she would walk over to Hebi and would chop Hebi in the head before sitting on Hebi’s shoulder.}

Amuria- Well to bad I liked the color of your eyes but whatever lets go we still have a mission to do for Shinigami-sama so let us go.

{Hebi would simply nod returning to his normal expression as he would summon Kobura who would wrap around Hebi as he would turn and walk out of the cave which would crumble after he left. Without Medusa in the layer it had no purpose and would completely disappear as if it was never there. Hebi would then begin to walk forward heading toward a special location.}
