Let's try something new

Koudo ventured to the Dusk Order in hopes of finding Hakku. He traveled to the Exorcist' Santurary, hearing through an advanced network of intel that a lot of people were coming to get an Anti-Akuma Weapon, that wasn't the reason Koudo was here however. He waited outside Hakku's second office, pushing his glasses up with his index and middle finger before slipping his hands in his pockets and waiting.

(Oh god, forgive me for missing this.)

-As the door cracked open, Hakku peeked outside and saw a new face. For some reason, he resembled Maze Rituke...weird.-
"Um, hello... Why is it that you came here?"

( No problem, I understand that the higher ups are usually busy with life outside of Ves, let alone the internet. )

This was the first time that Koudo had seen one of his various idols in person. Hakku, the second Kage of the Dusk, was definitely someone that he had always wanted to meet, like how he wanted to meet Cleff, Cross, etc. Anyone that used/made weaponry or computers or whatever. She was cool in his book, and more beautiful in person than in those pictures of her on Cleff's computers. He pushed his glasses up on his face, his hands in his pockets, and the wind blowing the blazer resting on his shoulders gently to the left.

" Hakku, I'm Koudo Tamura and I've come to ask for something that you offer here. Can you guess what it is? "

He asked with the same smirk that he usually wore, though it had a little extra shine to it since this was Hakku he was talking to and he admired her so much.

-Like the shy person she was due to her recent recovering of emotions, she continued to peek out the door at Koudo. After introducing himself though, Hakku felt a bit more comfortable and the door was opened wider.-
"Oh, Hi.. Koudo Tamura... Did you, come for an anti-akuma weapon, perhaps?"
-She said quizzically and in a shy tone. It is what people usually came here for, but because Koudo asked her to guess what it was, she assumed it wouldn't be the usual A.A weapon. Only reason she guessed it was because she didn't want to over think it.-

Koudo closed his eyes and put a hand out to stop her from speaking after she called him by his first and last name. Her voice was so soft, though, that he hadn't realized she was still talking when he put his hand up to quiet her.

" Please, call me Koudo. No need to be so formal, loosen up a little, ya know? "

He rolled his head back over to look at her, and opened one eye when the words 'Anti-akuma weapon' exited her lips. He's smirk grew, before he began to chuckle quietly to himself. He slipped both his hands in his pockets before shaking his head no.

" Played out, I want something no one has. Wanna try again? "

He was sure that this would be hint enough for her to get the right answer on her second guess. She was timider than he thought she would be, but then again after meeting Kham for the first time and getting his ring from him, Kham was actually nicer, the second time around, than everyone seemed to talk about. He guessed with power came crazy stories about people's personalities, the only two people whose personalities held true were Khrona and Cross. The timidness was really cute actually.

"Oh, sorry. You came for, a Ga Rei...correct? Do you know what they are?"
-Hakku said with more confidence. For some reason, there hasn't been a soul to come in and ask to acquire one as their partner, but Hakku was glad to see that someone finally wanted to.-
"Please, come in."
-The door gently opened up, and Hakku gestured for Koudo to enter her office, which looked very standard for an office. A desk with paperwork on it, a couch in the corner, a chair in front of the desk and even a framed picture of a canyon above the couch. One probably wouldn't believe this was where all the experiments went on.-

" Ding, Ding, Ding. I knew you were smart. Well, I don't really have any huge knowledge about them, but their like beast sealed in weapons or something like that right? They grow stronger as I grow stronger and having someone else take the weapon turns control of the beast over to them but they can't use any of the special moves that me and the beast have come up with. "

Koudo spoke as he stepped into her office, and most would walk to the chair in front of the desk and have a seat. Koudo was like most and as such, he walked over to the couch in her office and took a seat offering the space that was left to her.

" Was that a good, brief explanation of them? Or did I miss some of the more important factors of the Ga Rei? "

He was only testing his own intellect against that of someone that was higher than him on the totem of power. Koudo had made sure to research her, fully, he knew almost everything about her as a ninja. her kekkai genkai's her abilities and the energies that she used. It was safe to say that he was slightly obsessed with her, not completely though since he would never go to such lengths as to stalk someone. Koudo was too cool for things like that, girls came to him not the other way around.

" Did I mention that it's nice to finally meet you, Hakku-san. "

"Actually, your description was very accurate. You're quite intelligent, Koudo."
-Hakku announced with a smile. It was nice to have someone come into the office and know all about something for a change. It saves time on explaining it. She sat down on the couch next to Koudo, but before she could get into a discussion about Ga Reis with him, his statement threw her for a loop. She hadn't received an "It's nice to meet you" ever since she first met Maze. The thought made her feel embarrassed, and she even blushed a little.-
"W-Why thank you, Koudo... Now, um, about the Ga Reis.. Before we continue on, can you show me the weapon you planned to seal its soul in?"

Koudo swiped his nose with his thumb, seemed his smirk would never leave his face if he wasn't in the heat of battle or in the depths of his lab contemplating about his next move in life to make himself even stronger. That was where he contemplated the move of getting a Ga Rei and meeting Hakku in the process, he has this moment planned out to a key. So when she stuttered suddenly and blush a light color, he was sure that this was going well.

" Right, the weapon. "

He focused on the hand that he had resting on the back of the couch, lifting it slightly as a katana, guardless and slick black already sheathed, appeared in his hand. This was the sword that he had Sheng make for him, he was going to use guns but figured that it was a little overdone. He offered it to her.

" this should be enough right? "

he ran his free hand through his hair and looked off to the side, taking in everything in her office.

" It'd be a real pain if I needed another kind of weapon. "

He sighed before looking back to her and cracking a smile, before it reformed back into his self confident smirk. Man was this kid cool or what?

"No no, this weapon is fine."
-She said looking at the blade. This kid liked to be well prepared, probably as much as he liked to smile. Hakku got off the couch and pointed toward the wall on the other side of the room. An incantation of sorts was muttered under her breath, followed by a stream of binary coding that manifested onto the wall. This coding began to change the structure of the wall, as well as create a stairway down into the lab.-
"Come."
-Was all she said as she walked toward the steps and proceeded to walk down them.-

" Man. I gotta learn how to do that. "

Koudo said amazed by the beams of binary coding and all that, he wondered if with enough training he could learn how to do it, but he'd ask about that at a later date. It was probably some kind of magic or something, so he probably couldn't but no harm, no foul.

" So your lab is in the basement? "

he asked walking after her and down the steps.

"Mmm, well, yes and no."
-She said quizzically as she progressed down the steps.-
"Similar to how you saw me use binary coding to create a stair way into the "basement", I use a different set binary code for the lab so that it's impossible for others to break into the lab if I'm away. So I basically can manifest my laboratory anywhere that I choose, but I stick with the basement."
-She said her statement without even the slightest sign of timidity, and she felt that hint of pride afterward. While her powers allowed her to do almost anything, her main aspect was binary coding and binary energy.-
"Where here.."
-She said as she and Koudo stepped foot into her laboratory. It seemed extremely bright for a basement, and a bit bland as well.-

"Binary Energy huh? Never heard of that, sounds like something i could get into though if I was born with the ability to use it. "

Koudo shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly while they entered her lab. It was much less over the top than he had expected it to be, and it was clean, unlike his own lab but we won't get into that. he had to say that he was still impressed though.

" Seems you've warmed up to me. Everyone seems to nowadays, can't really say it's a bad thing. "

He shrugged once more, noting that she had explained absolutely everything about her lab with a hint of being timid or shy. That was good.

"Other than people coming to visit my office, I don't get to see many people.."
-She mentioned ending with a sigh of regret. She should probably take off some time from her office and at least go visit the various aspects of the village she leads.-
"You're probably wondering why my lab doesn't seem to hold a lot, but remember, anything I need is created before me."
-As she spoke she tapped the atmosphere in front of her, causing some binary energy to swirl in circles to form a door, leading into a different dimension. She opened the door and gestured for Koudo to follow her inside.-

"Shall we? I'll need you to hand me your weapon once we get inside."
-She said as she walked through the door. One wouldn't think that they could breathe here, or even walk, but it was like being in an underwater tunnel: You're in space, but exactly in space.-

Koudo followed her, amazed once more about what she could do with this "binary energy" of hers. It was pretty interesting and definitely worth studying. he had his katana in hand ever since they were sitting on the couch in her office, so the weapon was not something that she had to worry her pretty little head over. Walking through space, he never though he would see the day so soon.

" Well, maybe you should just get out more. It'd suck staying in your office all the time, I'll hang out with you. "

he offered, tossing the katana over his shoulder and relaxing his head on the hands that were behind his head. He was pretty chilled for someone meeting one of the people that they always wanted to meet, but he was chilled when he met Cross for the first time, and Cleff. there was only one more person that he needed to meet and his life would be complete.

-As Hakku took the weapon offered by the boy, she pondered on the idea of "hanging out". She had never actually done so before. Maybe Koudo was right.-
"Hm, that sounds... nice... but first,-"
-She chucked the sword into the vast cosmos that was outer space. With the speed it was traveling, it may seem like it'll never return.-
"And now, we wait."
-She said in a nonchalant tone. She anticipated Koudo asking what the hell she just did, so as such she had the answer already in mind. Koudo just had to ask.-

Well that was unexpected, but Koudo only shrugged his shoulders.

" So, is this how we get the beast? "

He asked looking out into the infinite cosmos of space.

"This space before us is actually an alternate dimension, where souls of the Ga Rei beast reside. I tossed your sword out there, and the one who picks up the blade and brings it back to you is the one who will be loyal to your blade."
-She said pointing out into the depths of the dimension. And so she sat and waited.-

Koudo nodded, and continued to look out into the infinite cosmos. He was excited, though he didn't look it, seemed most of the higher ups that he had met had unbelievable powers. This was to be expected though, since she was the other Kage of the Dusk Village, he was still impressed though.

Time came and Time went, seemed like an eternity waiting for something return his sword. He was starting to feel like he should give up and just ask for a Anti-Akuma weapon like everyone else. So he turned to her and was about to speak, but then he heard a noise, the loud howl of a wolf. He turned back to the infinite space and saw a giant wolf-like creature with three tails that seemed to glow with a white lining against the light of the infinite cosmos, coming towards them with something in it's mouth....



His sword. His eyes widened, happily, for once, and in utter disbelief.

" So this is my Beast huh?.... I like her. "

he said his smirk turning into a genuine smile. He had always wanted a giant pet.

-Hakku also seemed happy that the beast had come. It looked so, cute, and fluffy. She wanted to pet its head, but this was Koudo's Ga Rei. She had to act a bit more professional.-
"Mhm. This beast is named whatever you it to be. So before we see what it can do, why don't you decide on a name."

" Karasuhime. "

Koudo answered quickly, even before Hakku finished her sentence. He wasn't sure why, but that just seemed to be the name that was being called out in his head. The Wolf looked pleased as well with the name, He looked back to Hakku, his smile moving back to it's usual smirk.

" that's a good name right? Karasuhime? "

"Hm. I think it's perfect."
-She said while smiling and nodding. It was her second time witnessing a Ga Rei beast, with the first being her own. Speaking of her own, with a snap of her finger, she summoned forth her own Ga Rei, who stood twelve feet tall. It was odd that she didn't have a weapon out when she summoned him though. Maybe there was some secret fashion to doing this once one is at a high enough rank?-


"This here is Tan'O. He is a biological creature that chose my weapon from this exact space."
-He closed his eyes and turned away from Hakku. He seemed a bit upset since Hakku hardly to never summons him. She tugged on to his giant claw, pleading for him to stop being upset.-
"Oh, come on. You don't have to be so sad. If I used you as much as I wanted to, no one would ever want to battle me."

she seemed to never cease to surprise him. Summoning her Ga Rei with a snap of her fingers as well as it being a sort of bio weapon... bio weapon, Koudo noted that down for a little later study and building. He placed a hand to Karasuhime's side and stroked her large side slowly, taking his sword from her mouth as she released her grip on it.

" Good girl, I'm gonna take really good care of you. "

He told her as he wrapped the rope that, held the sword and sheath, around his hand and stepped in front of Karasuhime. His free hand never too far away from the hilt.

" Interesting. Very interesting. "

-Hakku put her finger to her lip as she tilted her head, wondering what Karasuhime could do in terms of abilities. She let go of Tan'O hand and pointed at Koudo, who was standing right in front of Karasuhime.-
"Hm, I believe we should try to figure out what... she, or he, can do."

" She and let's get started. Karasuhime. "

Koudo simply stated, unsheathing his katana and pointing it straight ahead, Karasuhime jumping over his head and standing in front of him now, in a protective manner of sorts, she was growling menacingly of course.

" So where do we go from here? "
