Xzystins Vs. Amber

*Rozalin awaits the two Genin, hoping there both prepared for a ranking match.*

Amber approached Rozalin, keeping her eyes on the sky. Once she was a few feet away, she stopped walking and looked at her.
"Time to rank?...interesting." She muttered, holding back a smirk.

*Xzystins walked onto the field, his face hidden underneathe his cloak.*

"A ranking match? Alright, whatever works I guess."

*Xzystins stood with his hands at his side and waited.*

Amber turned to face Xzystins with an indifferent look. With a nod, she slightly turned her head towards Rozalin, "So...can we start?"

*She creates a thorne of Tenrai flames 100 meters above the field, sitting and watching. She would snap her fingers. "And begin."

*Xzystins sighed and created a Darkness Paradox Bubble. The basketball sized orb floated around Xzystins as he activated his Chronogan, gazing at Amber. The Paradox Bubble then attached itself to Xzystins's back and changed shape, tranforming into dozens of thin threads. Several dozen of the threads stabbed into the ground, while the rest of the threads remained floating around Xzystins like thin tentacles.*

"Haste."

*Xzystins casted Haste on himself, doubling his speed.*

(Note: The Darkness Paradox energy ISN'T Darkness energy. It's time energy that has the ability to produce darkness energy.)

Shrugging, Amber did some quick handsigns with her left hand, appearing a few feet back a second later, with one hand on the scythe that was slung over her back. With a tug, she pulled the scythe out in front of her, crashing it into the ground, creating a large crack up to Xzystins. She then swiftly brought it up, and swung it, making powerful gusts of air blow towards Xzystins.
The wind had the ability to cut, slice, and maim him, as that was the jutsu's effect.

*Xzystins creates another Paradox Bubble, this one of fire. Xzystins forces chakra through his feet, which activates his Twilight Grieves. Xzystins original speed + speed granted to him by the Twilight Grieves + the Haste time spell= an incredibly fast shinobi. Xzystins easily dodged both attacks, appearing a few feet behind Amber in barely a blur. Xzystins then "burst" the fire Paradox Bubble, causing the Time Energy to take on a mist-like form. Xzystins then casted Hastera on the Paradox Mist, making it spread 4 times faster than usual. The mist was airborne and could easily be inhaled or "swallowed". And since Xzystins was only a few feet behind Amber, the mist inhabited the air around her as well.*

"What the fu-" Amber growled as the mist surrounded her. Scowling, she made a dome around her with orange chakra, trying to block out the mist. She may have inhaled some of it, and didn't know what the effects were...

*Xzystins heard Amber almost cursed and his eyes went wide.*

"Heeeeeey, cursing is soooo not lady like you should be ashamed that you almost did."

*Xzystins's Chronogan fluxed, as he was now able to control Amber's Timelength since she inhaled the Mist (or maybe even swallowed it from talking). Of course, this was a ranking exam so Xzystins wouldn't kill her. Using the Chronogan, Xzystins was able to accelerate Amber's Timelength, making her body age at an insane rate. Xzystins had accelerated Amber's Timelength by 80 years, making her an actual 90-something year old lady (I don't know your age). Because she was 90-something, Amber's body was brittle and frail, her skin was extremely wrinkled, she basically had all the perks you get when you become old. If Amber continued to fight, Xzystins would accelerate her Timelength even more. 500 years should definitely turn her to dust. Of course, Xzystins had the ability to reverse the effects as well.*

"Your move. Or, do you surrender?"

"Tch, don't get cocky." The cool metal of a kunai was pressed against Xzystins neck, while the withered Amber disappeared in thin air, the real Amber appearing behind him, an orb of orange chakra over her mouth and nose to avoid breathing in the mist.
"In case you're confused, it's a tricky little genjutsu that requires some handsigns done with my left hand." Amber said, referencing an earlier move.
"Oh...and I think you'll find, I'm not very lady like at all." she said, sneering. All of a sudden, random glitter started coming from the sky, falling over the battle field. (Not mass amounts, of course) Amber made a little cut on her palm, and slowly dissolved into the air, smirking.
Some of the glitter started racing towards Xzystins, turning out to be poison senbon. Soon, all of the glitter was racing towards him, transforming into razor-sharp needles arong the way. They all went to strike at his vital points, not to kill, but to knock unconscious for a bit, or put him in a state of semi-death.

*Xzystins could have easily grabbed Amber with the paradox threads which were still attached to his back while she was talking. However, he simply let her slide for he had something much more sinister planned. Since the time mist still swarmed the field, Xzystins simply raised his hand as the needles traveled through the mist.*

"Paradox."

*All of the needles were Time Paradoxed, removed from this Timeline and sent into another. Xzystins then sighed and did two handseals, one of them making the composition of the time mist much more thin. By this point in time the mist had covered the entire field (air included of course) and was gathering energy. He hated the game of hide and seek but he surely had something in store for Amber.*

"Auto."

*Just stood there, waiting for Amber to show up again.*

She scowled as the genjutsu failed. This was a match that would be really hard to win. Sighing, she decided she had to go all out. The sparkles disappeared and she appeared out of no where, frowning. She then disappeared again, leaving a small puddle of blood where she stood.

From the other side of the field, Amber stepped out of the shadows, frustration written all over her face. (She still had the mask of orange chakra on her face to avoid breathing in the mist). Scowling, she bit her thumb, and swiped it across her palm before performing hand seals.
"Summoning Jutsu!" A HUGE raven appeared, with the orange chakra around it's face as a precaution. She jumped up on its back, pointing her finger towards teh sky.
"Go!" She calledd out. The raven took off into the sky, hovering above the field. With a mightly flap of it's wings, amazing winds were summoned, strong enough to clear the air of the mist.

*Xzystins smiled as Amber reappeared. As soon as she repeared the mist would automatically enter her body through her pores and other openings of the body (like ears, etc). A flashback revealed that one of handseals Xzystins did made the composition of the mist thinner (as stated in my last post). With a thinner composition, the mist was now able to enter through much smaller opening. Also, by Xzystins making the reaction time of the mist automatic (as hinted at when he says "Auto" near the end of the post), the mist would immediately enter her body before the rest of it was blown away by the Raven. As the mist was blown away the remaining particles just reformed back into a bubble, which hovered near Xzystins.*

"Interesting."

*Xzystins noticed the puddle of blood on the ground, then remembered that Amber had purposefully cut her own hand. The cut was way too small to produce that amount of blood in so little time. Also, reappearing then disappearing again? Only to casually walk out of the shadows? Something isn't right. Xzystins created a Earth Paradox Bubble and let it orbit around him. He then charged lightning in his hand and shot two blasts of it at the Raven and Amber.*

Fumetsu (the raven) simply glided away from the blasts of lightning, while Amber gripped onto it's back, frowning. She knew somethign wasn't right, but that wasn't especially important. The main problem was the fact that she wasn't winning. She didn't particularily enjoy NOT winning.

She stood on Fumetsu's back, forming handsigns for a jutsu. As the raven flapped its wings, releasing huge winds, she completed her fire jutsu. The normal fireball was intensified in the wind, growing much bigger, much faster, much stronger, and much hotter. The fireball zoomed towards Xzystins, glowing with more power each second, ready to burn him to a crisp.

*Xzystins surrounded himself with Ragnorok energy and swung his right hand upwards, sending a crescent shaped blade of Ragnorok at the huge fireball. The Ragnorok energy would split the fireball in half (vertically) and both halves would land on either side of Xzystins. Xzystins activated his Greives and dashed around the field, using the earth paradox bubble to use earth techniques and make a large towering pillar of earth erupt from the ground. Xzystins would then run up the side of the pillar and as soon as he got to the top, pushed off the top with his powerful legs and lept high into the air, appearing above Amber and Fumetsu. The earth paradox bubble flattened and solidified, creating a floating platform for him to stand on. With his time energy still inside Amber, Xzystins let the energy travel to her brain, surrounding her neurons. Similiar to what he did to the needles earlier, he Time Paradox Amber's neurons, sending them to another timeline. Now with Amber's neurons gone, she would no longer be able to move since her brain can no longer send signals throughout her body. The fire paradox bubble that surrounded Xzystins would float down and hover near the ground.*

"This is....too easy."

Fumetsu immediately flew to the ground as Amber's whole body went limp, unable to control her actions now. The raven flew to the ground, and position itself so that her body rolled onto the ground, of his wing. As her body hit the ground, the raven's eyes widened, then he shook his head, facing the other way.
"Come out, Mistress A. You know your limits, that was the last time you could hide yourself." He spoke in a deep, wisdomous voice, with a hint of annoyance. He looked to the trees on the side of the battlefield, where a strange orange glow was emitting. Amber,now surrounded in an orb of orange chakra walked out. Her left arm hanging limply at her side, while she herself,was much paler than before. With wide eyes and a sort of dead look to her, she stumbled over to Fumetsu before looking down at the limp body of her blood clone in distaste.
"What a waste of half my chakra..." She scoffed, frowning. She took her scythe from her back, and picked up the limp body with it, observing it disdainfully, before tossing it aside with a mightly throw. as she moved her arm and scythe, the orange arb of chakra moved around it, keeping her completely isolated. Sighing, she looked towards Xzystins with a dissappointed face.
"I know a strong opponent when I see one...and I rather think this is one of the few battles I cannot win..." She jumped onto the raven, still enclosed in the orange orb, her left arm limply banging against her side.
"...But that doesn't mean I won't keep trying..." She threw her arms out to her sides, making a huge wave of orange chakra appear.The wave formed itself into a huge wall, and rushed towards Xzystins, the special jutsu targeted to destroy his inner chakra networks, and rin his internal organs.

*Xzystins had a feeling that this Amber wasn't the real one, which is why he paid close attention to the blood from before, and which is why he sent his Fire Paradox Bubble to the ground just a few moments ago. The orange chakra rushed upwards and hit a strangely off guard Xzystins, knocking him off the platform. As he fell, he burst into a cloud of smoke. It turned out to be a shadow clone. Careful thinking would reveal that Xzystins did two handseals a while back (like 2 posts ago: mine only), one of them made the mist thinner, while the other one was unexplained. Now it was. Xzystins used a shadow clone to attack a...well...fake Amber. After Xzystins was caught in the Genjutsu earlier, he quickly figured out what type of fighter Amber was. She liked to tired her opponent out before she appeared and finished them. She liked to hide while fakes take the brunt of her opponent's attacks. Xzystins decided to use her own strategy against her. The real Xzystins would hide and wait for the real Amber to reveal herself once the fake Amber was destroyed. And she did. Right as the clone was hit, the real Xzystins dashed out from his hiding place, appearing inches behind Amber his hand out stretched. He would fire an extremely strong current of electricity, enough to paralyze Amber but not to kill her.*

"I knew...it was too easy."

The orange shield around Amber flickered around the spot where the attack hit, but did not break, keeping her protected. She slowly turned to face Xzystins, frowning.
"Please...no not disgrace me by thinking I'm 'easy' to defeat. It's true...you're strong. Well beyond my skill level, that is quite obvious. But while protected by Chiyu Te...it will be hard for you to hurt me." She said, sighing. She quickly swung her scythe at Xzystin's middle, the shield once again moving with it to keep her completely enclosed. WHile the orange 'chiyu te' chakra kept her protected, it added severe power to her blow, going for the same effect as her earlier attack with the wave of chakra.

*Xzystins merely lifted his gauntlet to block the scythe strike. The clash pushed Xzystins back some as the earth paradox bubble decended behind Amber, landing silently and gently on the ground.*

"I meant that my attacks were too effective. I knew the previous Amber was a clone because of how easy it was to defeat her as well as various hints. You on the other hand, are becoming quite the annoyance. Congrats, now I must resort to more...violent...methods. Do excuse me."

*A mental command activated the earth bubble, allowing Xzystins the use of earthbending techniques. As Xzystins slid to a stop he placed the palm of his hand on the ground channeling chakra through it. Four large pillars rose and attempted to surround Amber, the pillars were encased in Ragnorok energy. The Death kind. The energy filled in the gaps between the pillars as well as created a "ceiling" of Ragnorok. This was sort of a Ragnorok prison, and because of the type of energy it was, it would quickly start draining Amber's life force and chakra. The only way to stop the effects were to get out of the proximity of the Ragnorok. Xzystins fired orbs of Ragnorok into the air, a dozen of them to be precise. They would surround the outside of Amber's prison and pulsate. Xzystins also created a dome of time around himself.*

Because Amber was on the raven (2 posts previous) Fumetsu flew up, and out of the area before the pillars had even finished forming. Cringing, she used her right hand to cling on to Fumetsu's back. "Oi! Fumetsu! Mighty wind strike!"
The great raven flapped his wings, making several large cyclones of wind go at Xzystins from different directions. These cyclones were far more powerful than Amber's. They were razor sharp, the winds threatening to slice human flesh.

*Xzystins opened the side of the prison and ran in, sealing himself inside the ragnorok prison. The wind attack would strike the ceiling of the prison and dissipate. Xzystins then got rid of the ceiling of the prison and casted Hastera on the prison, increases its speed 4x. Placing his hand on the ground Xzystins shot the pillars upwards like insanely fast torpedoes. The four pillars retained their square-like formation looking to come up underneathe Fumetsu and Amber and form an "air-cage". The orbs of Ragnorok Xzystins created earlier would move at a faster speed and appear above and around Fumetsu and Amber.*

Fumetsu kept flying away from the pillars and the orbs, trying very hard not to get directly above them, while Amber continued to hold on to him, frowning, and still glowing with orange chakra.
'what are those things?...They definitely don't look good. As long as Fumetsu stays out of the way long enough...I just might be able to replace the blood in my left arm...' She looked down at her arm scowling.
'useless blood clone...let's do this'

Amber quickly formed some handsigns, causing her and Fumetsu to disappear form view instantly, dissolving into the air. Hoping this would prevent the orbs and pillars from coming underneath them, Amber had cast an invisibility genjutsu over both her anf Fumetsu.

(*Sigh*, this is going to be a pain to explain, so if you have any questions just ask.)

Hmm? She gone again. Is she a teleporter? No...this battle would have gone quite differently if she was. She wouldn't have wasted her chakra on useless clones if she can teleport. She must be hiding again. Unfortunately for her, there will be no place to hide this time.

*Xzystins raised both hands into the air, mixing Ragnorok energy with his Chrono energy. He then decided to use one of his better techniques known as Event Recreation. Basically Xzystins alters the timeline so that he can make an event that happened anytime in the past, happen again by duplicating that period in time. For instance, 65.5 million years ago a comet destroyed the dinosaurs. By altering the timeline so that that same event happens in the year 2009, he can make the exact same comet strike the earth again, and decimate most of the planet. The further in the past the original event happens, the more chakra it cost to recreate it. Luckily, the event Xzystins was going to recreate will only happen in the next couple of seconds.*

"History will repeat."

*Xzystins activated the dozen Ragnorok orbs in the air. One orb by itself produced massive shockwaves and explosions, a dozen was a whole new monster. The twelve orbs would explode, resulting in a powerful mushroom cloud like explosion, then after 4 seconds past, Xzystins used his Event Recreation technique, reaching 4 seconds into the past and recreating the massive explosion again. Xzystins did this a total of 4 times, recreating 4 massive mushroom cloud explosions that destroyed everything in the area and the landscape around them (I take it Rose's tenrai flame is keeping her safe). Since Xzystins was immune to Ragnorok, he remained unaffected, but if Amber was anywhere in a 8 mile radius, she would be severely injured (actually dead, but this is only a ranking exam so there's no need to kill).*

(O.O...If you get anything less than jounin, it'll be ridiculous...)
The invisibility genjutsu faltered as Amber and Fumetsu were hit by the blast. They fell to the ground where Fumetsu disappeared in a *poof* of smoke, and Amber lay on the ground, barely conscious.

'whoa...holy crap.'
She warily raised a hand, pointing at Xzystins "...He...wins..."
*faint*
