Geko gekori... Back and ready for business...

Kaerei sits crouched in her normal position, her overly large hat covering her eyes and glowing dimly. There is an odd wind that passes by as she stares down at the blackness of this swamp... Laughing.

But then the oddness of the wind vanished, replaced by the cold fury of the artic's gales. Swooping in to hover above this swamp, behind Kaerei, Sadako stared curiously at her. It was quite odd, seeing another person here, and that was why she had glided closer.
"Hello...?" She asked, with her goddess-like voice that seemed so out of place with the landscape. Her blue gaze searched Kaerei, looking for some indicator as to why she was here...

Kaerei had already known of Sadako's arrival... It was inevitable, since this was her swamp... "Gekogekogeko... Geeekogekogeko... Gekori..." Kaerei turned her head a bit to look at Sadako from the corner of her now gleaming eye "Someone like you... Come to the Black Swamp...? Gekogekogeko... Your spirit will fit nicely with the others... Victim..." Kaerei giggled a bit, her legs seeping into the ground as if the ground were a liquid, ripples and all "Black Jump..." Now, with the ability to comepletely slip through solids as if they were a liquid, Kaerei submerged herself completely beneath the swamplands.

And, since Sadako was unfamiliar with this territory, she took to her element, the air. All around her, the air currents changed, and soon Sadako hovered in the middle of an unseen tornado of winds, her black feathered wings keeping her aloft. Her keen eyes scanned the swampland, looking for any sign of disturbance, and ready to act at any given moment. She unsheathed Mamoru while she waited... Though she guessed she wouldn't have to wait long.

Kaerei felt nothing on the ground of her swamp... Which only meant that the skies were where she was. Lets send some spirits up there to 'observe.' Kaerei had high hopes that Sadako would not be able to see her spirits... From under the ground, she swam through the rocks and ground, the solid ground, chanting the SPirit's Song... "Gekogeko gekori.. Gekori gekori... gekogekogeko..." 5 spirits flew from her body and upward to the surface, 2 of them flying directly at Sadako in the shape of claws and the other 3 hiding inside of random items in the swampland; One in a tree, one in a rock and one in the swamp itself.

She sensed a slight presense in the air... No, five presenses. She could track their movement, but not by sight, but more that she felt where the spirits were. She climbed a bit higher to avoid the claws, and tucked in a wing, spiraling out of the way quite neatly. Sadako murmured a few words, and clouds from the east moved in. Thunder was heard, and a flash of lightning alluminated the swamp for a moment, but it didn't touch down. Not yet.
Awaiting the spirits' next moves, Sadako kept her balance in the skies, and kept in mind the air currents as she pulled out of her spiral and gained height once more. Since she didn't need to use her eyes, she could keep her back to the spirits and still be aware of them.

Kaerei pokes her head up from the ground, staring at the rain... "Gekogekori... Spirit's Glade... My spirits, change into spirits of the environment..." Quickly, the spirit in the trees became a Forest Spirit, the one in the rock became an Earth Spirit, the one in the swamp became a Swamp Spirits, and the two in the sky became Rain Spirits. The Rain Spirits flew into the clouds and possessed them, making it pour down heavy rains... Kaerei began to chant something on the ground, however, and the heavy downpour of rain became a heavy downpour of literal Acid Rain, which would corrode everything it touched. Kaerei's skin and clothing were made of acid resistant material, leaving her unharmed, though it was uncertain about the trees and the parts of her swamp. She would have to gain power to make a spiritual barrier to protect her swamp from the Acid Rain and leave Sadako out of the barrier to die, but... It would require some time. In the meantime, Kaerei would have her Forest, Earth and Swamp spirits do whatever they could to the terrain to make it even easier for Kaerei to hide and evade (which is what she was best at) and make it harder for Sadako to track her and her movements. Many different sized rocks and such jutted out of the ground, and the overall form of the ground changed as well. The trees grew thick and began to enclose on the area, making a sort of tree dome themselves. Naturally, the heavy rain would quickly burn through them, but they had enough energy to keep regenerating for a short period of time. The swamp spirit then had the swamp water overflow so that it would be easier for Kaerei to move, since she was adept at swimming, especially in her murky, translucent, acidic poison swamp water. The Rain Spirits began to make thunder and lightning, however mixing Kaerei's acid with the lightning, they made Acid Lightning, which was attracted to Sadako, since she was the highest thing at the time, and it was basically charging up to zap her... with Acidic Lightning!
