Death all around!

And so, Chroma, knowing that the Death Soul would probably have the best results in a place where death was surely very... prosperous, she had decided to go to the Graveyard.

Chroma floated down, dropping Leia and then landing, herself. She made her wings smaller, then sat on some random tombstone.

"Well, this is a decent place, don'tcha think?"

"I'll say."

+_She said yawning, unintentionally relaxing her muscles. She was used to death thanks to her past, not quite feeling comfortable without it being around. It was messed up. She then stretched her legs above her head, bones cracking and such as she put her hands in the pockets of her long jacket._+

"So, what's first teach?"

Chroma prodded her fingers together... She wasn't particularly sure because she wasn't exactly the teaching type of person...

"... Uuuum... Weeeell... Do you know how to project the energy from your soul into attacks, or somethin?"

She figured that would be best to teach first, if she didn't know...

_+Leia would shake her head. Leia needed to be taught the basics of soul abilities. She would shrug her shoulders smiling lazily._+

"Sorry, sweety."

Chroma lowered her head.

"Eeeeh... I guess you wouldn't know how to concentrate your wavelength through your body to do such a thing, huh? Alright, let's do that, then..."

Chroma placed Gig and Feinne in the ground by their tips and jumped off of the tombstone.

"Alright then. So.. You at LEAST can feel your own wavelength and energy, right...? Or do I have to teach that too..? Bleh.."

"I believe...I know that much."

+_She said thinking back to her learning session with Tear. She remembered when she did so, and it kinda caught herself surprised. It slightly scared herself. She shuddered._+

"Yeah, I can do that."

Chroma gave a heavy sigh of relief

"Oh good. Well, that makes the next step ten times easier... How to control your wavelength and the energy that comes from your soul. FIRSTLY... You have to uh.."

She stopped for a moment, trying to figure out what it was that she did.

"... Uh... Oh yeah. You've gotta feel your entire wavelength surging through your body. And then, you gotta feel the energy from your soul traversing your wavelength... Then... Then... You gotta focus your wavelength into wherever you want the energy to come out... Then... Make the energy come out! Got all that?"

+_Leia sighed as she nodded her head in approval. Looking at her own soul kinda scared her. She never did see it before until yesterday, and she didn't think that she would have a soul that ominous looking. She however shook off the negative thoughts and took a deep breathe and exhaled slowly. he closed her eyes and saw only the darkness and her soul. She concentrated as she took hold of her soul, claiming it as hers and taking control of it before it violently released wave of her soul wavelength. She felt her wavelength now coursing through body. She opened her eyes and in her hand was wispy sphere swirling with what seem to be soul energy taking the form of a warm breeze perfectly mixed with a cold ominous chill. Leia taking by surprise by her creation would struggle to maintain her manifested soul energy, but she would have to learn to do so. She then focused it into her palm, looking like a wispy version of the chakra scalpel technique. She then turned her head and released the energy in a calm wave. It in turned reduced the gravestones to dust, small tiny particles. She then turned to Chromz, she think she got it,_+

Chroma smiled "Ooooh! That was pretty nice for your first try! Hahaha... Now do it again. In triplicate."

She pointed to gravestones in some arbitrary direction, signaling for her to do the same thing to them... Messing with the graves of the dead is supposed to cause them to be restless, right? Ah, oh well. That didn't really matter.

+_Leia giggled lightly to herself. She was gettin'it. Leia charged up her wavelength yet again by taking in one deep breath. Her soul energy resonated within her belly. She then exhaled releasing an ominously cold chill, perfectly mixed with a warm breeze. It would roam about like a small shockwave, reducing the gravestones caught in the way of said breeze to dust particles. It seemed that every time Leia charged or used h oul wavelength her eyes glew a bright white. She would then look toward Chroma with a smile, the shine in her eyes dimming back to normal. Leia was learning. An easy way to tell she's listening if shes not sleepy or tired._+

Chroma clapped "Hahaha... Yaaay. I'm such a good teacher... Just like my Father. Ahahahaha~! Okay, uuuum... Uuum... What else can I do...? Maybe letting your wavelength traverse through other objects... Or something... But that might be too difficult since you're just learning.. Eeeh..."

As Chroma was talking, some creatures started to rise from the ground. They were 8 Skeletons, and they didn't look very happy about their graves being destroyed...



Guess Chroma was right on the money when she said bad stuff happened when you messed with graves... Oh well.


Chroma: "Hey. Um.. Yeah. I guess this is gonna be your first way to utilize what you've been taught... Go kill those things and eat their souls for power. Use what I've taught you! I'll just... Sit over here... On this other gravestone..." Chroma walked over to said gravestone and sat on it, watching Leia.

+_Leia would look toward the skeletons and dig in ear. She smirked while she clasped her hands. Her soul wavelength would pulsate as the warm breeze would emit from her sooul. The winds would dance throughout the field, disrupting the bone density of the skeletons. The bones would begin to crumble and shake. Soon they would no doubt crumble into dust, Leia's eyes were glowing a blazing white.+_

A skeleton would run to attack her, but fall to dust, causing its soul to appear. This would caution the other 7 Skeletons that they were in danger if they were caught in the wind. So, one of the skeletons would summon the Wind Anima, a spirit that could control and use the wind to attack, and control the wind that the wavelength traversed and make it move away from the skeletons.

Another skeleton, just in case, would cast Dark on all of the other skeletons and itself, making a small explosion of darkness that would heal them all, for they absorbed the darkness/shadow element and anything that had to do with it.

The Skeletons, once healed, would then simultaneously cast Protect on themselves, which would increase their durability a shitload, making physical attacks to little harm to them, even though they were extremely frail. The lot of them them spread out, as it seemed that staying close together wasn't exactly the best thing to do in such a situation. They spread all across the graveyard; some close and some far away. They were oddly intelligent and coordinated for just ordinary skeletons...

+_Leia was taught I'm shibusen to eat souls if she were to ever have the chance, and this was the first she got. She never did so, and wondered to herself what they would taste like. She palmed the soul and gobbled it. She then felt a burst of power, and felt her maxium out put increase. Her lazy eyes would open up and she would smile in excitement. Once the jolt of power settled, Leia noticed that the skeletons can control her soul wavelength. She thought that no one could do that. Guess she slept to much in class. Leia would look at how the creatures spread themselves about the field and mad if harder for her, she smacked her lips. She decided to go for them one by one. She picked the one closest to her and casually walked toward it, hands in the pockets of her large jacket. Her eyes glew a blazing white.+_

One of the Skeletons in the back of the graveyard furthest away from Leia would start to cast some magic at her when she walked up to one of the closer ones. It would cast Blizzard, making a small chilling wind flow at her, trying to freeze her and shatter her into millions of pieces.

While that was going on, the closest Skeleton would try to use its Hack attack to slice at Leia rapidly to hack her up, obviously.

Then, the other far away skeletons would join in. They cast Fire, Thunder, Poison and Dark simultaneously at Leia, and accordingly caused a small burst of fire, a single lightning bolt from the sky, a small burst of a cloud of poison, and a small explosion of darkness to try to attack her altogether as well, as they were trying to give their fellow Skeleton brother a chance to attack from up close.

+_Leia would use her own unique fighting style to handle the skeleton without even taking her hands out her pockets. Leia would walk toward the incoming skeleton and begin dodging and strafing each swing. She would do this until the cold chill came. She would dodge another sword slash of the warrior skeleton and would combat roll behind it, allowing it to be frozen entirely, taking the strike rather than she. She then rose up from the ground in a fast and forceful motion. This would allow her to shoulder smash the frozen Skelton into smithereens. If this worked, Leia would quickly snatch the soul of the skeleton and would gobble it accordingly. Using soul perception and soul feedback, she was able to see the souls of the skeletons, which basically tellegraphed Leia that they were going to attack. She took her hands from her pockets and thought to herself.+_

"It's a long shot..but."

+_She said as she clasped her hands and touched her headband on her forehead. The attacks all struck their target, the lightning bolt smiteing the ground where she stood, the explosion of darkness erradicating all memory of what was left their, and the cloud of poison corroding all remaining life to nothingness. As the smoke screen of all it occurred, almost the entire graveyard would be ba giant crater, with Leia in the middle...unharmed?_+

"Phew.."

+_She said aloud. She had Fully emerced herself within her wavelength, making her entire body wispy looking. She was no longer tangible, rather she was a warn breeze perfectly mixed with an ominous cold chill. She was a presence of death. She looked toward the Blizzard skeleton and smirked. The next instant she would appear behind him, attempting to pass threw him, inflicting it with her wavelength and hopefully relieving it of it's soul.+_

The skeleton trying to hack at her was indeed frozen by the misfire, and thoroughly being smashed once Leia attacked it, thus leaving its soul to be consumed.

The other skeletons looked to each other, trying to figure out why their magics didn't work... But they noticed that she had become some sort of wisp. Though the skeletons had nice teamwork, they were still rather brainless. The one that cast Blizzard was the first to be struck. He tried to slash her, but being intangible, it didn't work. She would pass through him and take his soul, as well.

This made the other skeletons worried. There were only 5 left now. Hm.. Combating her from close range was doing nothing... Had she become a spirit? Perhaps the Anima could help them here. They were spirits. The 5 Skeletons summoned the Fire, Thunder, Water, Ice and Wind Animas to assist them in battle, and they would all float near their respective skeletons... And again, they would try to use their attacks Fire, Thunder, Blizzard, Poison and Dark on their target.. but they were ready for mobility if they needed to move...

+_Leia would smirk as she seemed to vanish into thin air. Dodging the attacks yet again. She would reapprae from under them, passing through the ground and seemingly reaping them of their soul as well, if they had not seen her coming. With her soul perception and feed back active, it was little they could do against her. +_

Of course, the Skeletons had no such perception of the soul, and as such, would not even see the attack coming. So, in retrospect, the Skeletons would have their souls harvested, leaving the last 5 to Leia.

Chroma: Oooo, that was pretty good for your first soul collection! You're doin great~!

"Oh you flatter me.."

+_She said in her usual lazy tone. She as always lazy when it came to battle. However, when she existed her wispy state, she felt am enormous amount of fatigue, enough to make her gasp for breath, even cough a little. She had no idea that doing something like that wiuld have such an effect. +_

Chroma nodded her head "Yeeeeep, it'll do that to ya... Oh wait. Uh. I mean..."

Chroma stood up, scratching the back of her head. "You look tired. But hey, you've got some souls now! Don't you feel empowered?"

+_Leia would huff and puff, it seemed as though doing what she did. It mattered not however, it was a technique that she would no doubt use tirelessly. She had favored this attack. She had nodded however, quickly catching her breath in an attmept to save a face in front of Chroma.

"More..than I've ever felt."

Chroma smiled "Good! Then that's all you need. You should get more souls, I guess. But anyway, I'm bored... What to do now..?"

Chroma went back to pick up Gig and Feinne, who were oddly silent for some reason... Hmmm..

+_Leia after catching her breath would begin to breathe more controlled. She was feeling her wavelength traverse throughout her body. She could feel the difference in power since the first time she felt it. The souls she ate amplified her, and she as actually excited. She loved this feeling. _+

"Actually, I think I'm going to go soul hunting. Thank you for everything sweet heart."

+_She said happy, but at the same time lazily at the same time. The excitement could be heard in her voice..but it was vaguely noticeable. She then gave her the peace time before turning around and walking off, hands rested in her pockets._+

Chroma laughed for a moment, then held up Gig and Feinne.

Chroma: Why were you guys so silent? We should go soul hunting, you know...

Gig: ... Zzz... Zzz... Eh heh? What? The hell did you wake me up for!?

Chroma: ... That's why you were silent? You were fucking asleep?

Gig: Hey, don't judge me! Mmm... I was having such a nice dream about hotpods, too... Grrrr... TO HELL WITH SOUL HUNTING! WE NEED TO GO HOTPOD HUNTING!!

Chroma: ... But I almost have enough souls..

Gig:... Really? Huh. Well, we might go Soul Hunting soon enough, then. I can't wait to become a Death Scythe~!

Chroma: ... That is, after Feinne.

Gig: ... WHAT!? WHY DOES FEINNE GET TO BE A DEATH SCYTHE FIRST?!

Chroma: ... Because you have unimaginable power already. If we power up the weakest links first, I.E., Myself and Feinne, then the path to you becoming a Death Scythe...

Gig: ... Will take no time at all! WE'LL BE INVINCIBLE! Haha, kid, I like the way you think! Let's go!

And with that, Chroma flew away to places... Unknown.
