Second Experimentation... Test subject needed.

Cleff was starting to make use of his bases now... It seemed as though he was going to make this one for the Experimental Living Weapon series, while the other one was for Mass-Production Experiments... And the one in the Chaos was strictly for The Assault and any other weaponry Cleff had. He only needed to figure out what to do in the Twilight base he had and then he could proceed with anything he wished.

"... The Living Weapon Series... I am going to need people to test this out on... Using the knowledge of the Megaman universe combined with my own technology... I can create living weapons of a much higher caliber... The Female Biometal-Human Series... A.K.A. the Fem BioHume Collection."

Cleff had already started this work long ago, and was almost to completion. It wouldn't take him long to complete the rest, as he was diligently working hard on them, thus it would go very swiftly. Not to mention, his adept abilities in this field would be more than enough for just one... But he would need someone to test the others.

((So... Cross is made of biometal idk how that's going to work with cleff but okay))

*Cross made his way to the dusk, he walked there but made it there in less than an hour, how? Idk... But he did it, he walked in to the same dark place that looked similar to the other lab*

"Cleff?"

(Yeah... I know. But I guess different Biometal, different result?)

"Confirmed."

Cleff floated upward, then in front of Cross, making himself apparent.

"... Just as you said, I see. As you already may have figured out, I am but a mere copy of the original Cleff here to work on the Living Weapon Experiments.. The Fem BioHume Collection. You are clearly here to test them out."

From out of nowhere, a slender, adolescent sized girl seemingly made of metal fell from the ceiling. She was cat-like in appearance, however still kept that certain cute-girl feel to her.



"Behold. The MMS Type Cat; Specialized Close Combat Style. Maochao. Part of the first series I developed. I shall not be presenting the second series of Living Weapons today, for sake of incompleteness. However, I have fully finished the first series."

Maocho eyed Cross, getting ready for battle. Her Drill arm changed into a Cat Claw that resembled her other, and she would strike a cute stance.

Maochao: Nyan~! My name is Maochao! Nice to meet you, nyan~!

*Cross laughed and turned to cleff... while shrugging his shoulders. Cleff had to be feeling a little bubbly in order to make something as ridiculous looking as this.*

"What's the catch Cleff?"

*Cross said as she spun his guns out of their holsters pointing them at the thing without looking, still looking at cleff*

"No catch. I need to test her out. Unlike the mass produced experiments, the BioHumes are one of a kind and have their own minds. Artificial Intelligence or actual thought... I wish to see which one is more efficient. These BioHumes have their own thoughts and wills... Whilst the Mass-Production Experiments do not. The only thing I ask of you..."

Cleff looked to Cross, then at Maochao, sighing.

"... Do not completely destroy my babies."


Maochao's tail flicked around cutely and she started to paw at her ears.

Maochao: Nya... I don't think your friend likes me too much. Nyaaaaa... Sad kitty nya. ;;

*Cross became quickly annoyed at the immaturity the robot had and was so tempted to off it in the quickest most destructive way possible... but Cleff was slowly becoming an acquaintance of his and as such Cross didn't wanna burn any bridges Cross fired two simple shots towards the cat robot at a reasonable speed and power*

Maochao was off with the shot of the bullets, her first instinct being to dodge them, for some reason. She leapt onto the wall, then climbed up it and to the ceiling, eyes Cross from below.

Maochao: Nyan....


Cleff noted Maochao's instinctive actions... More cat-like than human or machine-like. Perhaps Maochao would harness her cat-like, human-like and machine-like attributes and use them as one... That was the only way she would survive.


After dodging the bullets, Maochao had already seen that Cross was a long distance sort of guy... She was close range all around. She didn't know what would happen if she got close, but she started to walk around the ceiling cautiously right above Cross. She sort of made a low purr-hiss noise, as well.

*Cross fired in arbitrary directions some bullets maybe going for the kitten robot but some not, it was mad bullets by the second painting the room with them*

At this point in time, Maochao found it to be impossible to run just by scanning the area. No matter where she thought of going, she was going to inevitably be hit by a bullet. She had to go in for the direct attack.

She launched herself down from the ceiling, using her ultra-keen cat senses to dodge the bullets in the air to ensure her safety. She then remembered that she had one long range attack that could most likely get through all of the bullets and maybe harm Cross at the same time, so with her right fist clenched, it started to omit a force from around itself.

Maochao: Wind Blade!!

She let out a forceful punch through the air, the force it was omitting before being launched as a concentrated, seemingly sharp blast that would blow away any extra bullets like wind as well as slice them up like a sword. Not only this, it got more powerful by accumulating more force and momentum, thus stealing the force of the bullets to make itself propel faster and become more stronger at Cross. Maochao landed silently on her feet, her eyes becoming slits and her ears perking up. Her body seemed tense.

*To combat this, Cross simply dipped all the bullets off into portals and made them appear surrounding the cat robot and exploded them violently in a burst of energy. This would occur as she touched the ground for Cross can control his bullets and make portals with a mental thought, now as for the super projectile of pwnage Cross palm thrust the blast heading towards him using the repulsor gun to absorb the kinetic force of the blast using it for extra energy as reserves.*

Maochao wasn't expecting the bullets to appear around her mentally, but instinctively, she could not only hear, but smell a change in the air. Her reactionary time and reflexes, being cat-like and enhanced by her mechanized body, she had time to react. She stood perfectly still, then suddenly released a massive dome of an unknown form of energy. The energy was transparent and almost barely visible, but it seemed to stop the bullets in their tracks.

Maochao: Strongest Shield!

The Strongest Shield, much like the Wind Blade, absorbed the force of what hit it, causing it to instantaneously stop. To prevent energies from penetrating it, as well, it concentrates itself after it is generated, constantly growing more powerful and reacting in a way that will adapt and then repulse whatever is trying to penetrate it. Thus, that is why it is called the Strongest Shield.

Maochao also saw that her Wind Blade technique was completely ineffective.

Maochao: Wha-wha-whaaat..!? He easily got rid of my Wind Blade attack nyan... Nyaa... I wonder where it went nyan? Well, it doesn't matter! Let's go nyan!

With that, she took off at extreme speeds, dashing directly at Cross. She started to slash at him extremely swiftly and violently... So violently and swiftly, in fact, that her claws literally left streaks through the air for a moment after she swiped them, signifying the power behind each strike, despite the swiftness. She kept a keen eye and an open ear for any surprise attacks he had in store, though.

*Cross focused ALL of the kinetic energy be absorbed from the wind blade and the bullets used to bolster it into the place where cat was going to strike making it the most durable part of his body, should the Cat strike it she would wiggle like a tuning fork as if she hit a Gong and she did... this gave Cross an opening he noticed out the shield worked with his eyes and had to use one of his new things. He pivoted in to the Cat pointing his guns out of her and a large vacuum like force surrounded her nothing would happen but something would eventually. The funnel emanating from the guns was narrow for this aspect of Cross' power wasn't perfected yet but hopefully she was caught in the 6 feet wide funnel.*

When Cross pointed the gun at her, her first nature was to escape, of course. She would be able to hear even the slightest noise Cross made when presenting the gun, and after seeing the use of the gun before, she knew she was going to be shot. Therefore, she jumped over Cross and behind him, trying to continue her attack... Though, that's when she noticed.. The gun didn't do anything.

Maochao: Buu. What a cheap trick, scaring me like that nyan! I'll have to make you pay, then!

Maochao would start to use the force that was absorbed from the bullets in a similar way that Cross used the kinetic energy absorbed from her Wind Blade... Though this force lined her strikes, now. She began to actually punch at him now, hoping to at least damage him with this incredible power. Her punches were just as fast as her strikes, and probably many times more powerful. If these didn't work, she'd surely have to bring out... The Drill.

*Cross smirked as he had his other gun in his hand he took the punch flying across the room pulling the trigger activating the vortex, making it come out through portals surrounding her. He crashed into a wall, cracked his neck and shook it off. It was a strong punch but he thought nothing of it now, time to test his new weapon.*

Maochao smiled once she finally did some damage, but heard the clicking noise of the gun again. Naturally, she didn't see anything happen... Until she noticed that she was surrounded by the vortex. Now she was in a sort of an angry panic.

"... Grrr... I dunno what this is, but no power can penetrate the Strongest Shield nyan nyan!"

The same shield from before appeared around her, surrounding her in the Strongest Shield to see if it could be blocked by this. Maochao then started to think of a follow-up attack to use after the Vortex was made. She really didn't know, buuut, okay.

*The vortex was a vortex specifically designed to absorb potential energy of the user making all of their movements following drastically much slower and a packing a lot less power than usual. As I said, the vortex was invisible so I dont know how the cat thing could 'see' that she was surrounded by the vortex but if she did she would notice that being inside it and 'then' following up with the shield would render her future potential energy to be drained exponentially transferring it to Cross through his guns. Cross smirked and sprayed the room with bullets again since the girl was a machine, a human one at that she would do that 'strongest shield' thing again which was a lot of bullshit in cross' opinion since nothing in the world is absolute*

"We'll see...

(Oh, that was my mistake... I'm tired. I forgot it was invisible... and for the record 'Strongest Shield' is just a name. It means nothing. XD)

Maochao noticed her slowness... And was actually very annoyed by it. She didn't really want to go this slow... She wanted to go fast! Swiftness was her thing. She didn't understand it, but still tried to run at Cross, despite how slow it was. This is when the bullets came.

Maochao: Nyan!

There was only one thing to do. She only had one defensive measure... And that was the Strongest Shield. She couldn't combat the bullets using the Puchi Machines, so, it was only natural that she used it. The Strongest Shield would be generated and she would try to stop the bullets, since it would seem that she wasn't going to be moving that much in this situation.

((Lol I know, it's just how Cross thinks))

*The cat would find that the shield would manifest a lot slower than usual in which a large amount of the bullets would penetrate the openings in the shield and hopefully pierce the cat robot, should they pierce then its only natural for Cross to explode them within her. But he wouldn't do that since Cleff told him not to. Should the cat robot survive she would find that her potential energy would be slowly restored back to normal for the natural flow of energy in the world dictates that everything returns to equilibrium eventually something Cross cannot control, but he still had the energy he absorbed though*

Maochao's body was hit, but not pierced, for her special helmet actually protected her from heavy gunfire, and also increased the power of the other armor on her body to keep bullets from penetrating her. She did, however, growl in pain from the hits.

Maochao: Myow!... When will I be able to move again...!?

When she said that, she started to move normally again, which was a big plus for her.

Maochao: Myew... I can shoot bullets, too! Puchi Machines, ho!

Just then, from random parts of her body, many turret looking machines popped out, all aimed at Cross. They were tiny, but they seemed as though they would boast a lot of power.

Maochao: Sunder Splash Fever!!!

Each of the turret things shot out hundreds of rounds of bullets right in Cross' general area, trying to blow him up to smithereens! This was Maochao's only long-ranged weapon that didn't involve her Wind Blade technique. Again, she was best as a close ranged fighter.

*Cross murmured something under his breath as the girl spoke "Sunder Splash Forever" the bullets were void shot bullets that exploded into pockets of empty space that devoured portions of her body with the explosion, arms legs ect... wherever the bullets landed. Cross only had hoped that this halted the bullet mass fire, if not he'd throw up the guard of his lightning flame to actively defend from the assualt of pwnage.*

Parts of Maochao suddenly started to burst and be destroyed without her knowing why. She had not lost both of her legs, an arm and small portions of her torso.

Maochao: Ghh... Damage capacity is high... I cannot survive those bullets... nyan... whatever they may be...

Maochao's eyes narrowed and she started to hiss.

Maochao: ... This just means... I have to go in for.. one final attack! If my body won't move on its own... I will make it move nyan!

Her single remaining arm would change itself into the drill. Any of the remaining Puchi Machines on her body would point directly to the ground, firing downward as to launch Maochao upward slightly, causing her to float. Without an arm and her legs, she was much lighter, making this possible. She pointed her drill arm at Cross and stared him down.

Maochao: ... This is the drill that will pierce the heavens--

Cleff immediately stared at Maochao, then shook his head slowly. She started to cough, trying to play off that obvious reference. Her drill started to rotate faster and faster, so fast that it couldn't even be aimed straight. It whipped up a powerful windstorm with just its spin alone.

Maochao: Giga--- Erm... Final... Doridori... ATTACK!!!!.. nyan.

She would rush at Cross, using the force of the Puchi Machines to launch her forward, her drill guiding her. Once she was near Cross, she immediately dove into the ground, drilling through it effortlessly, but ripping up some of the metal near her drill in the process. Hopefully this would either trip Cross or throw him off. Just as swiftly as she dove down, she would drill right back up on Cross' position, trying her hardest to rip him to shreds. Her drill just kept spinning faster and faster, becoming more powerful and more destructive by the second.

*The lightning flame shield would protect cross from all the random shrapnel, until the cat thing went underground... he only assumed that the cat would try and shoot up from under him so he flipped out of the area dodging the drill uppercut attack entirely letting the girl go elsewhere he waited for her to circle back around so he can counter effectively*

Maochao hissed as she missed the attack, only increasing the rotation of the drill even more. She was about to ram herself into Cross once again, but then her drill would give out, as she had blown the motor. There was an explosion, then smoke would overflow around her arm. Maochao fell to the ground, seeming to be inactive, now. She had worked herself too much.

Cleff: ... My precious Maochao has overworked herself. Mmm... I will have to fix that later... Her armor... Her Drill... Mmmm... Your thoughts on the first of many, Cross?

Cleff would grab Maochao's scraps and digitize them elsewhere, as he would fix any problems he thought of, as well as anything Cross had previously mentioned. As this happened, Cleff would also bring out the next on his testing list... The pure counterpart to Maochao, a dog-like robot girl by the name of Howling.

"In the meantime... MMS Type Dog; All-Range Assault Style. Howling. Standby."



Howling didn't say anything, but waited beside Cleff like an obedient dog, awaiting his signal to go.

"What does the drill do?"

*Cross said as he picked his ear waiting for a response, all this back to back fighting was starting to make him tired he might be stretching himself too thin*

"The drill? It is supposed to be Maochao's most powerful weapon, being able to pierce any substance it is to drill into in a matter of moments, depending on density of the object and speed of the drill. However... It seems as though I need to increase its rotary rate... And get a better motor..."

Cleff could easily make another motor that was better, but... He would probably need better parts than he was already given.

"... Also. The drill is supposed to generate constantly increasing force, so that when it does achieve an extremely high rotation speed, it will pierce through even the heavens. Cough. >> <<;"

Howling still stayed silent, staring at Cross with her keen eyes.
