Alkel Learning chakra Control

Alkel walked into the Dusk Village's training area, with his notes all in his pockets. What he read in the first book was lesson on how to better your chakra control. He could walk on water, climb trees, lift weights that was more then what he could lift, any many other stuff. But he decied to go with a challenge. He was going to walk on water. Stripping off everything except his boxer he went close to the pond. He placed a toe in the water to check the tempature.

"Well the water a good temp to pratice."

Looking at his note, he read that he was to concertrate his chakra towards the bootom of his feet, and continue to adjust the flow of the chakra to stay on top of it. So doing as the note said, he took a step on the water....then another......and fell straight through.

"Uughhh"

Swimming back to the land, he slupptered. He had a lot of work to do.......

Koudo couldn't let someone of his shame village be this shameful at something that came naturally to him. Koudo, running at full speed, passed Alkel as he was swimming to the shore and ran across the water to the middle and stood there nonchalantly, as if he should be there in the first place. If one looked closely, they could see that there was chakra infused to his shoes, allowing him to stand on the water and move around on it. Koudo slipped his hands in his pockets and nodded, with his ever apparent smirk.

" Yo, you need some help? I can't just leave you like that. "

Koudo wasn't one for telling people how to do something, he was one for showing them and letting them do it themselves and it looked like Alkel wanted to learn some Chakra control. Koudo was born with great Chakra Control, but he could always use a little more training in it and training with this guy would help him get better as well as help the guy get better. So everyone would be benefiting. Even better. Koudo walked off of the water, and onto the land before kneeling in front of Alkel and putting his hand out to the guy.

" Here. "

He said offering his hand to help the guy out of the water, so he could try again.

Alkel took the new guys hand, and lifted himself out the water. It seems that there were nice ninja's in the shinobi world. He coughed the other way. He did reached in his pockets and took out his note and look over them. He proceed to ask the new guy,

"What am I doing wrong? I did excatly as my notes said.....I think."

There looked to be someone else in the village that researched what they wanted to do before they did it. This Guy had Koudo's approval already locked up just for that. Koudo didn't like people that didn't like to research first, so this guy could develop into something like a study buddy. That aside, Koudo looked at the notes before taking them and making some very quick adjustment as he usually did.

" You have to focus harder. That's all. By the look of you, it seems line you got beat pretty bad by someone... someone with a dog right? I was there so I know, I was watching. "

Koudo was always watching in some way shape or form without the people actually knowing he was there. Besides the person Alkel fought, Erisa, had piqued his interest enough. Koudo walked onto the water and offered his hand again.

" Just focus. "

Alkel breathed out slow and tried to move his chakra back down towards his feet. Moving slowly he stepped on the water with his left foot, and followed his right foot behind. Alkel reached for the teen hand and almost fell through again

This was gonna be harder than Koudo thought, even though Alkel had taken notes, it seemed like he wasn't very gifted in Chakra Control like Koudo was, and Koudo wasn't an expert in it himself so there was no way he could train someone in improving their Chakra Control.

" I got you. "

Koudo pulled Alkel out of the water and dragged him over to the land before sighing himself and kicking at the ground as he thought about how he could help without actually giving Alkel the answer to doing this. There wasn't really a secret way to do it, you just needed to train hard as hell to get better at it.

" Just focus more.... that's all I really have at this point. "

Koudo said truthfully with a shrug, his ever apparent smirk, dimming to a slightly befuddled grin. He scratched the back of his head a little before looking at the water and then at Alkel. Maybe it would be better if he tried with something he could track his progress in, a tree perhaps.

" How about you try tree climbing? Then you could track your progress. When using water, you don't really get the benefit of having something that can tell you how far you got. "

Koudo suggested this, before looking at a tree that was nearby, it looked nice and sturdy. Alkel could practice there and put little tick marks with his Kunai when he felt himself about to fall down. Koudo couldn't stay long, he had to get back to tinkering with the little robot that Cleff had given him as well as analyzing Sai's capabilities and enhancing her the best he could at this point. It was safe to say that Koudo had A LOT of work to do, and only a short time frame to do it since he still had to go back and battle Cross. Which reminded him that he needed to practice with Anima, or it'd show that he didn't use his box weapon at all if he went to Cross and wasn't using her.

This ninja looked like he knew what he was doing. Putting back on his clothes he followed the other ninja to a tree. He readed about this in the Chakra Control for Dummies. All he had to do was apply the right amount of chakra in his feet to keep climbing.

*sigh* "I hope this is easier then walking on water..."

Alkel focused his chakra to his once again. Then giving himself a running start, he pulled out a kunia knive and ran about to feet upon the tree. Feeling himself about to fall, he twisted his body to mark the spot where he made it to and landed on a spiderman pose. Looking uo he saw he had 38 more feet to go.

"Something like that, right?"

-Time laspe: 1 full day-

Alkel was on his hands and knees, panting hard, but noting the progress he made. He made it up to about 35 feet on the tree. he crawled to the base of the tree and pulled out a Sweet Valley:Almond Crunch out his pocket and began to eat. He played around with the knife while munching on the bar, thinking about home. He had it easy there. Free food, protection, a freind, anything he wanted he could get.

[But it's not like home. Here in the Alliance, it seems you get what you earn. Is this whats it like to be at the bottom of society?]

After a ten minute break, he got, grabbed his knife and began climbing again, fighting through the pain in his legs......

It took Alkel day to finally make it to the top. And not just by running but walking up the tree too. Alkel was at the base of the tree panting at his effort but happy with his new acheivements. He was now able to fully control his chakra without wasting it. Now it was time to see Vessel so he could give him ninja training......
