Time For Some Tinkering

Koudo walked to the desk and picked up his PET, before slipping it in his pockets, along with his hands and walking towards the exit with Priere.

(( Time Skip ))

After leaving his soul partners with his "leader" Koudo went back to his lab so that he could work on building the machine that would sustain the ice that Priere would create for their base. When he got to the base however, he could see that Sai had been cleaning up and the base looked a lot better, much cleaner and she even improved on the machinery that was inside. It started to look a little more futuristic now, inside of the primitive equipment that the owner, before Cleff, had inside the building.

Sai: " Welcome back Koudo-kun! "

That was a surprise, Koudo jumped at the sound of the sweet voice that spoke to him, it was none other than Sai, who in her brief moments of having free will installed a voice program with in herself. Koudo liked this new voice of Sai's... alot. he walked inside the lab and pressed a hand to her metallic chest and started to push her towards the table. He figured that he could work on her for a little bit, before he started building the machine. His "leader" would understand wouldn't she?

" Sshh, I'm gonna take really good care of you. I can already see the ending. "

Sai: " But... I like being this way... "

" You'll like the way I make you better... believe me you will... "

Koudo ignored her pleas and started to get to work very quickly, not turning her off since she technically couldn't feel pain, but he would fix that up a little bit. She would be more human like than anything when he was finished. Boy would Cleff be amazed when he saw what his apprentice had down with his handmedown.

(( Time Skip. ))

Koudo yawned before switching his newest, and probably most complicated, experiment on and stepping away for the table. he had been working on Sai for a few days now, never coming out his lab and as such, his eyes were starting to get a little laxed to the darkness. he didn't worry about it though, cause his eye sight was perfect and all he needed to do was go outside for a little while and his eyes would begin to recover. With that being said, Koudo took a few more steps back and waited for his creation to come to life.

" Sai... how are you feeling? "

Sai: " My head... hurts. What did you... what did you do? "

Sai asked, sitting up and placing her hand to her, now blue at the top, head. her hair was longer now and as she ran her hand across her skin she could feel that it was more human like. She was more humanlike. She stood, a little shorter than Koudo, in her assault mode which hadn't changed all that much, but there was significant difference between Koudo's design and Cleff's design. Anyone with eyes could see that.

" I made you better, better than any of the other yous that Cleff can create. You are completely and utterly mine. "

Koudo said, walking to his newly remodeled computer and typing in a few things for Sai's file before he turned around and looked her over again. He had to admit that he liked his handy work, and with the newly remodeled Sai, the ice part of the base would be sustained because Sai would sustain it. How? Koudo hadn't figured that part out yet.

Sai: " Oh... but why blue? "

" Because you're surging with my Infestation of course, you're mine remember? "

Koudo made a motion for her to remain silent and she did as she was told, even though it was against her own free will. Sai walked over to the computer as well, looking at her schematics on his computer.

" Sai... activate cloaking mode and security mode alpha... You're finally perfect. "

Koudo was very proud, he couldn't stop beaming at the computer screen and then at Sai as she did what she was told, because he had asked her too. Oh course, after he stopped giving her orders, she could do whatever the hell she wanted until he announced orders once more. From this remodel of Sai, he had figured out what he planned to do with the little robot, it was going to come quite in handy in the upcoming years. Koudo realized that he would need to find and work in all the bases that Cleff own, so that he could learn more about machines and different kinds of technology. He even figured that if he went to the other bases, he would find some clues about Netnavis and battle chips. Koudo nodded to that and started to work on the amplifier that Priere had asked him to make.
