Maze.....?

Sadako watched as Mayumi faded from sight, and sighed. She really did hope the Chuunin would make it back okay...
She slowly lifted her left hand so she could look at that band of white gold without sitting up. She filled her mind with only one thing... Her longing to be with Maze.
The ring hummed with a power of it's own, and instantly, reality began to warp around her. Sadako blinked, and then she lay on the bed back at the Labyrinth. She looked about, and found that Maze was right beside her.
A smile lit her features, and she breathed, "Hey Maze... I'm back..."
A sensation wracked her body with pain once more, but it wasn't nearly as bad as before.
Her thirst was making itself known.
Sadako shut her eyes tightly against it, but managed to say, "I'm awfully thirsty, love... But not in the way that can be cured with simple water..."

Maze ran over to Sado taking her into in his holding her tightly as the tears started flowing down from his eyes."Your back....your really back don't worry I'll get you something just hold on." Maze was hesitate to let Sado go but he could tell she needed his help. Maze would let go of her and swirled his fingers around and on the stand next to the bed appeared a glass of blood. Maze took the glass and gave it to Sado hoping it would help.

A flash of red appeared in her eyes for a moment as they snapped open, then scent of the blood making the thirst worse. She fought to control herself, and drank the blood as slowly as she could. Within seconds, the glass was finished, though her thirst hadn't disappeared but for the slightest.
But, Sadako put a smile upon her face for Maze, "Thank-you, Maze." The red was fading from the whites of her eyes, making them appear much less bloodshot, and the thirst had placed but the dullest red glint behind the brilliant saphire of her irises.
Already feeling better from the blood, Sadako started to sit up slowly, eager to relieve the pressure from her wings. She shook out the feathers, gently and carefully, casting shimmers of sunlight about the room.
She blinked once, then turned back to gaze at her husband. Tears began to come to her eyes as the reality of what happened started to sink in. "Oh Maze..." She sobbed, embracing him tightly, "What a nightmare..." She shut her eyes and let the sobs take over.

Maze wrapped his arms around Sado gently putting one hand behind her head. "It's ok your here now.."

Maze would've sensed that almost all of the darkness that Sadako had tried so hard to hide since becoming a vampire had almost completely vanished, and instead, he would sense a being of almost utter devotion to the light.
She slowly quieted though, taking comfort from being in his arms.
When her tears had stopped falling, she slowly looked up at him. "I... I'm sorry for not telling you what that was about before, but... Basically, the thirst overtook me because... Because now only human blood will satisfy my thirst..." She looked away, ashamed now of her vampirific nature.

Maze would only sigh at Sado's statement. He knew that this would happen sooner or later to her and he knew way to satisfy her thirst and keep her around. "Don't worry about that. I could always make you human blood and if not around while your soul hunting just suck your prey dry."

She shook her head, "But Maze, I've already attacked two people... First Khrona, which I admit now was a stupid mistake, and then Unknown... I don't like being a monster..." Sadako looked back to him, "Why is this happening? Why can't I be satisfied with the monsters from the portals?" Her voice was filled with hate for her bloodlust.

Maze sighed. "Well then I have to ask,Why did you want to become a vampire in the first place?"

"There were reasons before.. The most major one was to get stronger... To not be in danger always... I also wanted the chance... to maybe protect you someday..." Her voice shook a bit. "But Evangeline was right.. It was a mistake..." She buried her head in her hands, ashamed.

Maze looked down at his arm as the tattoos on it began to glow. "Look Sado why not try to find a cure for your vampirism?"

"Maze, the only cure I know is death." She said solemnly.

Maze reached under his bed and pulled out a large dusty book. Maze blew the dust off of it and opened the book to it's center page and read what was on it. "Ok....It's says right here...Cure for vampirism."

Sadako raised an eyebrow, "I'm guessing that's another of your spell books?" She asked, quite curious. She had always found Maze's magic interesting.

"It's a potions book." Maze read threw the chapter quickly and closed the book when he was finished. "It says we need 6 cloves of garlic, 5 nightshade leaves, 2 shoots of blood grass, The blood of an Argonian, and the ashes of another vampire."

(Yes this is the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion way to cure Vampirism XD I didn't know any other way lmao)

(Lol, I know a few... But yours sounds much more fun XD)
Sadako blinked, "And do we have even two of those ingredients? Garlic is a gimme, but what of the others?"
Silently, too herself, Sadako thought, To cure the thirst would be a much better solution, but I guess that hasn't been found out yet...

"Ya well nightshade leaves can be found around can be found around the graveyard, Blood grass can always be found the darklands, as for Argonian blood Argonian's are lizard like creatures so they might live around swamps." Maze stopped and sighed. "But I have no idea where to find a vampire to get it's ashes."

"You and I both know one Vampire, but I for one know that I wouldn't be able to take her life, no matter her crime..."

"Evangeline....hmph." Maze closed his eyes and snickered. "Enemy and master...what are we going to do about her?....Never mind that we've got more important stuff to worry about other than Evangeline at the moment." Maze started thinking of any other vampires out there. "This isn't going to be easy."

"Hey, no killing Zakuzu either..." Sadako then thought of something. "Maze..." She said slowly, "If I learn more about this thirst, perhaps from Evangeline, I might be able to control it better, and not be a victom anymore... I really should confront her..."
(Which has been already played out XD)

Maze sighed knowing Evangeline wouldn't just HELP Sado but in a time like this there really wasn't any other way. "If you feel you must then I won't stop you. Just make sure to contact me if anything happens."

"Of course, Love." She kissed him lightly on the cheek, and disappeared with the wind, a trick she had learned a while ago from Reia.
