Shinigami's Favor- Sibs in the Eternal Desert

-*After resting up, Sibs flew using her plasma boosters on her feet towards the Eternal Desert. Her long blonde hair whipping in the wind leaving sonic booms in her wake. After a minute or two she landed on the ground and began to use her soul perception, a standar ability among people of her kind. She scanned the area looking for these super large sand pits. There were two towards the east... and thats where she started walking. This place wasnt as dark as the place she was before, so at least she could see this time around.*-

As she walked closer and closer to the sand pits, sandstorms started to brew. The closer she got, the stronger they got, and the less visible the space in front of her became. It was turbulent and violent... Deadly, even.

-*Sibs walked through the desert unwavering it seemed that all the little grains of sand that neared her just added to her soul energy using her frustration soul to do so. She figured that whatever was causing these epic holes was also responsible for this too. Holes grew in her palms like iron man preparing for whatever fight lie ahead, She stopped in her tracks and strained to look ahead, the ground ended she must be here*-

(Because I don't feel like getting on the Shinigami charrie...)

The moment she stopped walking was the moment... The sand began to tremble. The sound of the sandstorm started to turn into a churning and whirling noise, somewhat like a grinding, as well. Where the ground ended was where the first pit began... And what was to rise from this gargantuan pit but a monstrous Antlion.



This Antlion seemed to be rather pissed off by Sibs' appearance... Like it was protecting something. It roared at her and started its attack.

Since a sandstorm was already brewing, using its own ability of Sandstorm was all too easy. Though, the Sandstorm of the Antlion was far worse than the sandstorm of the desert... For the Antlion's Sandstorm could cause both Blindness and Slow to whomever was caught in it. Thus, if Sibs were hit, the sandy power would devastate her body and the debilitating effects would definitely... debilitate her.

-*Well, sand is sand... unless it was like magical sand it was converted into soul energy for sibs which super powered her following attack to exponential heights. She flicked her wrist at the antlion transforming each of her fingers into potent plasma whips that stretched for miles, all of these are hot and powerful enough to cut the earth in two. All aimed to lacerate the beast in front of her going at breakneck speeds.*-

Well, yes indeed it was magical sand. It could be generated from anywhere at anytime, but the cover of the normal sandstorm made the Antlion's Sandstorm much more effective. Upon being absorbed, Sibs would promptly be Disabled and Slowed, thus making her unable to attack or do anything involving attacking and would be slowed down considerably. (3 Posts)

Being Disabled, she wouldn't have the power to attack, nor even transform herself into a weapon at this point. The most she could do was run from the beast's attacks. That just goes to show, you shouldn't... eat everything... that... shut up. The Antlion hawked up some sort of Mucus and spit it at Sibs.

-Well, im sure the above would fly if the sand was immune to sibs frustration soul that prevented anything from harming her interally and converted it to soul energy. Its what flowed through her veins and laced her attacks and protected her innards thus her attack went before as planned before the antlion spat up whatever it did.-

Well. That's what we call a Quantum Paradox. And because the laws of the Quantum Paradox insist that the above never affected Sibs, the last 2 posts are lost forever even though they are clearly sitting right there.

So, with 2 plasma whips speeding at the Antlion, its only possible defense is to burrow back under the ground with great speed. At that moment, the sand pool.. cove... thing-that-probably-has-a-technical-name-of-which-I-cannot-think-of-at-this-very-moment-but-I-will-get-back-to-you-in-later-posts started to expand, aiming to suck in Sibs, or at least make her lose footing so she would fall down into the pit and the Antlion could attack more easily.

-*Sibs whip attack trailed the antlion utterly cleaving through the ground going deep inside where she saw the antlion was. She began to slide down towards the sinkhole until she cleched her fist, the ends of her whips were still stuck inside the groumd until she fed a larg amount of the 'Solar Wind' down the end of the whips causing a massive explosion underground which sent her flying back a safe enough distance and hopefully harmed the antlion as well*-

During the time where the Antlion couldn't be seen underground, it was conjuring up a magic around itself in case Siblyx indeed tried to attack it like that. This magic was Disable, which naturally would disable Siblyx from attacking if she were to touch it. Antlions worked by trying to debilitate their prey before they struck... And if Sibs' whips just happened to touch that magic around the Antlion, there would be trouble. Naturally, if she didn't, that would be on the Antlion's head, causing it to take the large explosion.

-Sibs watched as the explosion from a far distance, it was so grand that it distorted vision and caused quite the self made sand rain from where it went off. After it subsided she flew over and grabbed the soul from where the antlion died, Wiping her brow, she continued onward towards the next sinkhole-

The antlion's soul was worth 5 souls (not like I can really change that now, can I? >> and once it was destroyed, the sand returneThe destruction of the first antlion caused the second great grief, since they were so close together. It emerged from the sand and quickly tried to immediately subdue Sibs with its Petrification Ray right off the bat. It seems that the Antlions would only get angrier and more aggressive from this point...

-Sibs, in mid flight flew around the beam at overwhelming speeds and appeared above the massive creature. Still in the air she attempted to heel drop the antlion between its hard skin to inflict critical damage to the creature. Her foot was a lot denser than the antilion thanks to QGP, and hot as the sun thanks to the solar wind.-

The Antlion quickly moved the upper portion of its body as Sibs tried to attack, and then used its Gravity Flux in an attempt to force her to the ground and keep her there, so it may do as it pleases to her. (That sounded dirty.) Though if the Gravity Flux didn't work, a secondary attack that could have been initiated would have been the Suffocate ability, trying to suck out all of the air in the immediate area to choke Sibs to death.

-Sibs indeed landed straight on the ground, heel first which caused a gyser of the solar wind to erupt from under the antlion as soon as she landed hopefully bruning the thing to a crisp leaving only the immortal soul behind. If it still mangaed to use its suffocate ability sibs can breathe in a vaccuum of space no problem, this did not affect her-

(Aw.)

Yes, the Antlion was burnt to a crisp due to the terrible power of Siblyx... It let out a terrific wail of pain and horror, almost like it was calling out for something... But eventually, it just died and left behind the soul, worth 5 normal ones...

-Sibs swiped the soul, and stretched. She was about to collapse on the sand and take a break but she figured that would be a terrible idea. She began to look for another sinkhole.-

After a few moments, the ground started to rumble and shake, the sand beginning to shift wildly. In a few moments, another, extremely large sand pool would appear, though oddly enough not trying to consume Sibs... And also not even harboring an Antlion. Though, what would come out of the very depths of the sand pool would be a powerful mage... Kuja.

He flipped his hair, elegantly walking out of the sand pool, seeming unaffected by the dryness and the heat of the desert air. His eyes were dimmed, yet they gleamed with a sort of arrogant passion, and his silver hair started to blow along with the arid winds. He slowly turned his head to Siblyx, smiling and giving a cute little giggle, saying to her.

"... My.. You're the one that is beating on my babies...? I expected much more.."

Unknown to Siblyx, she was in the self-proclaimed 'territory' of Kuja. And he seemed to be quite territorial.

-Sibs turned around after she swiped the soul flipping her hair out of her face in a tomboyish fashion. She shrugged, she really didnt care. This guy looked weird, but then again everyone that looked weird was unsusally powerful so maybe she could care a bit.-

"So I guess there aren't anymore for me to kill?"

-She said disapointingly... While looking up at the sun-

Kuja's brows raised in an inquisitive manner, yet his eyes stayed elegantly dim and half-opened.

"Hm? Oh, no, I have quite a bit more of my babies to protect my home, you see... Why else would I have Antlions spread across the desert sands? Though, it must be an honor for you to engage in combat with them... Yes, I know. Hmhm..."

Kuja turned around, looking out into the distance.

"... I'll tell you what. I'll let you have at my little pets.. I've been a little bored recently and am in need of some entertainment..."

Kuja waved a hand in front of himself, causing the sands to rumble once more. This time, 3 sand pools appeared, spread around Sibs in a distant fashion. 3 Antlions appeared, once more... It would seem that these were the last that were presently active in the vicinity.

".. Are you up to that little challenge, my little canary?"

-Sibs shrugged, souls were souls she thought. As she looked into the skies the winds grew strong and a white lightning bolt struck her body causing a constant aura of lightning to flow within her, increasing her speed and reaction time to astronomical heights. This was her 'storm mode'. She stood around for a little bit and disappeared, she reappeared behind each of the antlions with her palms extended towards their bodies unleashing several thousand volleys of shots of white plasma to their bodies-

Kuja laughed at the display of power, as he was a bit unimpressed, but very much liked the spectacle she attempted to pull off.

In her volleys, it would be shown that each and every one would have bounced off of the area surrounding the Antlions, giving them no harm but causing the lightning to be reflected elsewhere, traveling the endless path of the desert sands.

"Hmhmhmhm... You'll never get anywhere doing things like that..."

After that was said, each of the now angered and aggressive Antlions would turn to Sibs and fire off seemingly greatly enhanced Petrification Beams directly at her. Something was veeery much different about these 3 than the first 2.

-Sibs floated in the air as her projectiles bounced off of some energy substance surrounding the antlions, the petrification beams neared her but her lightning aura possessed the ability to turn any magical energy to soul energy for her consumption. The lightning aura was about 30 feet in front of her so the beam never touched her in the first place.-

"Hmmm... Let's try this!"

-Her fingers turned to plasma whips again, and they flew towards the invisible shield surrounding the antlions. in her storm mode she can expand the storm aura through the tip of the whip to tear a whole in space removing anything from existence within. And that was what she did.-

The Antlions quickly reacted with a collaborative Gravity Flux, which would, in turn, make the attack more powerful as a whole. This would cause the gravity around the whip to force it away from them, into the sky.

If that did not work, however, the Antlions could just as quickly go back underground and appear a safe distance away from the attack.

Kuja immediately took note of her ability to seemingly convert and absorb energies... And it intrigued him.

"Mm? Oh, dear... How will my pets ever hit you with that troublesome thing active...? I might as well get rid of it..."

Being the powerful mage that he was, Kuja was a master of all of the Mage magics. Thus, he could easily use the powerful Dispel, which would nullify the use of Siblyx's aura because of the sheer power of Kuja's magic and the fact that Dispel had nullification properties of supportive abilities such as that. Therefore, using Dispel would release a magical force that would cause the aura to shatter, as if it were never there in the first place.

"... Now we can play... Hmhmhmhm.."

-The whip would plow through the gravitational field that the antlions exerted attempting to thwart the attack. Even though the antlions sought refuge underground Sibs' whip attack would still continue heading into the ground and would still be carried out causing anything underground to be severed from this plane of existence entirely. She hoped that the antlions got caught in the blast radius. After that was over she turned to see that the guy was probably unsatisfied at his shitty antlions so he stepped in and leveled the playing field by turning off her lightning aura. Didnt matter, he'll soon see why. She waited for the antilions to surface if they were here.-
