Anyone wanna train?

Soushi continued to wait until the gears on Datum started spinning again and the gear-shaped opponent sent another bolt of electricity at Soushi. Soushi had learned his lesson this time and pointed the barbed wire drill right at the bolt of electricity before firing the drill from his wrist at the bolt of electricity which, if his calculations were correct, would electrify the drill, but allow it to continue on the path to drilling through Datum. The only difference being that it was electrified now and Soushi hoped that he would be in for a treat, being able to see Datum get shocked by his own attack essentially.

*slades rotations protected him from the medium and smaller attacks. while in the air it seemed that his rotations would continue to speed up faster and faster to the point that it wasn't a spherical shape anymore, it now resimbles kieba's fang over fang except it was blue and more savage.*

*being able to fly slade jetted towards the tankmon in this form, virtually indestructable and unstoppable. and since his byakugon was active slade still had a perfect view of his target.*

Datum had to react quickly, cuz being shocked was not fun to some machines. Surely, some machines loved getting all of that electricity, but Datum wasn't really fond of such abrupt shocks. He liked steady energy feeds. Anyway, he would use the Crash Device now, sending a gear out of his body to combat the electrical bolt, causing it to be hit and then freeze in mid air, as if it had 'crashed.' Thus, the Energy Bolt was ineffective and unmoving now... static. Datum now floated lower to the ground, using his Command Input once again, this time right at the ground. The line of code would hit the ground, then run along the surface of it toward Soushi's position, and once under him tried to shoot up at him directly from the ground to try either tying him up or cutting him up some. Soushi was pretty inventive with his attacks... But a machine is better!!!

Now, as for Destroya... Slade was definitely not unstoppable, and Destroya knew why.

Destroya: Chakra output, high...

He knew that the more chakra he wasted trying to block Destroya's assault, the weaker he'd become. It was rather easy to cause him to use up more than half of his chakra. How, you ask? Well, Destroya's signature attack is a mini-nuke that can destroy half a city at full power. Thus, if shot at Slade at full power, even if he could defend against the explosion, not only would the force of it send him away, but also the sheer power of a city destroying cannon being fired would cause his chakra level to definitely plummet... Especially at his rank. So first, it was time for Destroya to stop with the baby attacks.

Destroya: Twin Missile...

He pointed his two cannon arms at Slade again, this time firing missiles triple the size of the normal ones at him... Two of them, hence why they were called the Twin Missiles. They were definitely much more powerful than the smaller ones and could throw Slade for a loop... Hopefully make him use up a good deal of chakra. But, that wasn't the good part... Already, Destroya was ready for the big'n... the Hyper Cannon. He aimed his main cannon; his nose, at Slade in his rotation.

Destroya: Hyper Cannon... Fire.

And of course, it fired. It was extremely large, yellow and had an evil looking smiley face with pointed teeth on it. It locked onto Slade's chakra signature and went right for him. If it were to hit, all of the city-destroying power would be placed on him and his rotation shield, and the force would shoot him away. Veeeery away.

Soushi looked at the guy that was suppose to be his partner, the spinning of the rotation giving him a huge idea. He looked back to Datum, as the electric drill was stopped easily and a stream of code was coming across the ground towards him. Soushi snapped his fingers for a little while, trying to think before he made the thick shell cover him again, but he didn`t stay idle this time, instead the shell and Soushi started to spin at a rapid rate, almost like the spin of the drill that he usually used. The "Drilling Shell" (as we shall call it now) started to tunnel through the ground underneath Soushi, which had been turned into fine sand.

As he drilled through the ground, he could tell where Datum was and where he was going by sensing the magnetic forces, so it was easy for him to navigate to behind Datum and emerge from the ground, flying towards Datum`s back, the Drilling Shell in full rotation, this was another attempt to drill right through Datum. Of course if this didn`t work, Soushi had already come up with another idea for his next attack, if Datum did what he thought the digimon would do of course

*slade saw the missles and the nuke cannon. luckly he still had his nth metal blade drawn. its nth metal properties would be able to absorb the blast from the cannon but he would still have to worry about the twin missles as well.*

i guess theres no other choice.

*stopping his rotation he landed, and began signing at blurring speeds and dove in the ground like it was water, not even leaving a hole, but as he does two earth type clones took form around the place where slade dove in. they jump on and redirect the missles towards the energy blast*

(Er, by Energy blast, I'm assuming you mean 'nuke missile' cuz this Digimon has no energy blast attacks. XD)

Drilling underground was a surprise... But it was definitely still able to be stopped. Of course, Datum figured that it was going to come out somewhere near him in an attempt to drill him.

"Wait for it... Wait for it..."

When Soushi popped out of the ground Datum's face split down the middle and opened up, immediately unleashed an array of wires from his face. His Entangle ability. The wires would wrap around the drill and try to hold it off as well as twist it the other way, trying to slow it down without breaking...

In the meantime, Destroya was about to handle Slade, when he went under the ground. Clearly, he could tell that the two clones were not Slade just by reading them... But what of the real Slade? No matter. He must have slipped into the ground since there was basically no other place to go. Well, nothing an onslaught of missiles wouldn't handle.

Destroya: Sub Vulcan...

Again, firing off an endless amount of missiles at the ground, Destroya aimed to level the land completely and utterly and either flush out Slade or destroy him in the process.

Damn stopped again, the wires were spinning in the opposite direction to stop your drill from getting to the digimon. Soushi cursed himself, before smirking and stopping the rotation himself ... and beginning to spin in the same direction of the wires that were previously trying to stop him, so instead of stopping Soushi from getting closer, the wires were drawing Datum to Soushi ... at least he hoped that that was the case.

(yup my mistake, now i'm glad i didn't go with my first plan. lol)

*while underground slade moved to the aera right behind the tankmon. with the tankmon blasting everything in front of him this would be the safest area, and since he is so loud he wouldn't hear slade behind him calculating a plan while still keeping an eye on him and his attacks.*

Datum: Eh?

Datum started to... spin the other way!? What was this? He was spinning the drill in the same way that he was turning his wires, thus... Datum would definitely be twisted and swirled about... And not the fun gear-like way, either. He wasn't moving from this spot thanks to his wires being tangled, but at least he had a clear shot for this young Energy Bolt attack. He started to surge the electricity through his wires trying to shock Soushi so much that he had to let go, otherwise Datum might have some gear misplacement... Eh. That's not good.

As for Destroya... He was busy firing missiles at the ground, realizing that Slade wasn't coming out. However, the lower part of his body was semi-sentient... Thus when Slade popped out of the ground, the lower half of Destroya's body swiveled around and locked sights on him. Destroya continued to fire off missiles violently just for the sake of firing missiles... But the lower torso had begun to use its Hell Drive. Its mouth opened up and numerous horrific metal sounds whirred and clanked inside of it. It ground up the earth that it came in contact with, turning it into literally nothingness, not a grain of it left. It would happen to Slade as well if he stayed on the ground, for it would crush him and devour him into nothingness. Now mind you, the Hell Drive is not a slow and menacing process, no no no... It is a swift, angry, malicious dash at maximum speed to the target. Slade was in for it.

*noticing that the base turned his way, slade knew it was way too dangerous to stay there but he was there long enough to ncatch a glimpse at tankmons chakra network*

*though different from a humanoid chakra network his was still mostly the same. so that when slade jumped out of the way of the lower half of Destroya's body, he poked and deactivated the main chakra points in Destroya's arm causing it to go limp and non responsive*

" Just a little more .... wait a little longer .... "

It was time to play the waiting game. Soushi had a hunch that the pulling wasn`t going to rub Datum the right way and he was hoping for the little gear-shaped foe to use that electricity again. Soushi compacted himself in the shell, getting lower so that he could sprung out with all his might. He could hear the electricity coming and once he was shocked by it, he made another drill of wire to act as a lighting rod, taking in the electricity and keeping it for a little while, as Soushi ejected himself out of an opening he made in the shell, flying towards Datum in a spiraling motion with the drill lunged in front of his head.

" Hopefully this hits. LIGHTNING DRILL!! "

Oh that was a cool name wasn`t it? Though it was only electrically charged because Datum had made it so. Though there was something else he wanted to add, as he flew through the air towards Datum, he let a purple mist out of his mouth to cover the drill. This was one of his poisons, the only one that he was able to produce as of right now, his Paradichlorobenzene. So there was an electrically charged drill, covered in poison mist coming right for Datum. Soushi had to admit that this was kinda awesome.

As Datum was spinning, he released his wires from Soushi and tried to regain his composure in the same action.. It was difficult, but once he was settled, Soushi was already coming at him with the electric drill.. What to do now, avoid it or go for it head on? Hm. There was no time to think about it. There was a sort of mist around the drill at the same time... a poison of some kind, it seemed to be. Datum wondered if Soushi could actually change directions with his super cool attack... so with a Boost Tackle upward, Datum very quickly accelerated into the sky and avoided initial contact with the drill, hopefully making sure that Soushi couldn't hit him.

Destroya, naturally, even though he was rushing at Slade, was not totally oblivious to what Slade was about to do. In fact, his upper torso rotated forward to face him once Slade jumped into the air, firing off the very powerful Twin Missiles from his arm at Slade, locking onto him once again. Naturally, if they hit, he'd most likely be blown away and Destroya would be fine, but if not, he would be poked and it would cause the non-mechanized part of his arm to become pretty much useless. He still continued his Hell Drive, so if Slade landed, Destroya would turn around and rush after him again.

Soushi was spot on with the drill, trying to hit Datum with something physical for the first time instead of the air balls that he was getting cheap shots with. But the gear accelerated itself into the air and avoided the drill that Soushi unfortunately couldn`t control just yet and since the drill missed the mist of poison wouldn`t effect the digimon. Damn so close!

Soushi tried to stop himself from flying into the tree that was aligned where his drill was, but try as he might he collide with the tree before the drill stopped spinning and he dropped to the ground.

" OWWWW ... have to keep trying though. "

Soushi groaned stroking his head before standing, feeling a lot weaker than he did when he started to battle, mainly because using the drill and the shell multiple times without a break tired him out and on top of that the poison that he used was all he had of the stuff and it took a lot of energy for him to produce more. Soushi got in another ready stance and looked up at the digimon.

" I won`t give up. I wanna win this. "

He whipped up a vortex of wind and compressed it before throwing the ball Datum`s way.

while using his byakugan to target his chakra points slade noticed that Destroya was reloading for his twin missle again. making sure to watch out for the missles he abandoned his origial plan and fired two chakra needles into the barrels as the missles were half way out hoping to disable his arm cannons that way but braced himself for the eventual explosions to come.

As the air ball came his way again, Datum was feeling a little worn, himself. He really did want to Digivolve, but knew he couldn't without Cleff... and knew that it would be much too much for Soushi, so it was out of the question... Well, Datum still had more tricks up his sleeve that Soushi hadn't seen yet... Once the air ball came this way, he used Boost Tackle to ram right into the air ball and not be harmed... too much.... by it. In fact, his own force would cancel out the force of the air ball that would probably push him back, but caused him to stop moving forward with his Boost Tackle at the same time. Thus, he was closer to the ground, but still in the air. Now, to attack. Datum opened his mouth and used his Dark Crusher, launching the very essence of viruses out at Soushi as a beam of some sort of corrupt looking data of sorts... its effects on a human, however, were unknown, so using this move was a gamble.

Destroya's machine portions of his body weren't really able to be affected by Slade's Byakugan, seeing as they're machines and not anything living, thus have no chakra network, but the Chakra Needles would not have the power to merely stop these Twin Missiles. The missiles, as demonstrated before, were much more powerful than the Chakra needles, but even so, Destroya had his Machine Gun Assault to blast through the Chakra needles, since he had both missile launchers AND machine guns separately placed on his arms. Thus, to ensure the missiles had maximum power and speed, Destroya shot the Machine Gun Assault at the needles, then at Slade, then finished launching the Twin Missile which locked onto Slade, just as planned. He still continued the Hell Drive, ready to munch up Slade once he touched the ground... just wait until he hit the ground... Destroya seemed to be pulling out all the stops, actually. Almost all of his attacks were being used at once. The only two that were missing were the Sub Vulcan and... the Hyper Cannon. In fact, why not use that next? It started to load up a Hyper Cannon in the main barrel on its face...

Soushi was tired, it showed, his breathing was heavy and he just couldn`t will his body to move out of the way of this attack. He watched as the beam came, assuming that it would probably hurt like hell, maybe even be his demise before he could even become stronger. With the last of his might, he put his arms up as a block and allowed the beam to shower him with whatever the beam was suppose to do to him. This is it ... it must be the end. He was still hopeful that he wouldn`t be killed from this and if he wasn`t then he would more than likely pass out from exhaustion.

*using the power of his nth metal weapons slade would dodge the missles again then performs another rotation to block the bullets only to realise that another nuke was about to be fired his way*

oh fuck.

*slade then realises his way out with minimal chakra use. he continues his rotations and draws 6 kunai*

Datum could see that Soushi was tired, so before the beam hit him, it would dissipate into nothingness, as if it hadn't been fired in the first place. Datum hovered down to Soushi to see if he was okay.

Datum: ... Tired, are ya? You down for the count?

He smiled.. kinda.... as much as he could with his metallic face.


As for Destroya, he wasn't playing around. He seemed to be going crazy. In fact, with the firing of his missiles and bullets and use of his Hell Drive, it would seem as though he was going to destroy everything. Speaking of which.. He had a Hyper Cannon coming on. But instead of pointing directly at Slade, he pointed his nose up into the air and shot out blasts one at a time...

Destroya: Fire! Fire! Fire!

Three Hyper Cannons into the sky. One could destroy half a city. Two could destroy an ENTIRE city. What would three do? Oh man, one could only find out what would happen when those came down... Destroya wasn't letting up even a little.

holy shit.... three of them?


*knowing how strong one was he knew he didn't have enough chakra left to deal with a blast from all of them. and he didnt want to leave the other chaod ninja behind to be baked. so while rotating at such a high speed he launched 3 of his kunai at the main warhead when it reached its max height, hoping the explosion would be enough to detonate the others. he then drew his sword to fend off the remaining bullets barrage as he yelled out*

i give. i don't have much chakra left.

*as the shower of bullets ricochet off of his blade at blinding speeds*

Soushi looked at the digimon and shook his head, he was tired but he wouldn`t admit it. He wanted to keep going, he didn`t want to quit if it was just starting to gt interesting.

" I can keep going. I`m not that tired. "

This is when his body and mouth were saying two different things, as soon as the last word left his lips, he sort of collapsed to his knee, but his breathing was going back to normal.

" Come on ... I can keep going. "

Datum looked at Soushi, shaking his head and slightly smiling. He knew that he couldn't go on. In fact, Datum was tired, himself, though he didn't appear to be. He wouldn't be able to fight much longer, either. His gears were slowing, but he didn't think that Soushi noticed it. That was how he showed fatigue. But Datum also noticed that Destroya was using his god-given talent of... destruction and trying to... destroy. Well, they were all in a shitty situation now. Datum definitely couldn't fight a Champion level digimon like Destroya, especially when tired... And there was no way to really calm him down, either. Soushi was tired. Slade was tired. Well, looked like the end for them.

Or, so they thought.

"... Format."

There was a voice out of nowhere, it would seem, but suddenly throughout the area that the 4 of them were fighting, they would be standing on what looked to be pure data. In an absolute moment, Destroya's missiles were gone, as if they had never been there before in their lives. Destroya and Datum were also 'erased,' it would seem like, but in actuality, they were just returned to the Chaotic HQ by... none other than... Cleff, their master.

Cleff appeared before the two of them, floating above them with his 8 technological wings spread wide and a semi-emotionless look on his face.

"... Soushi Imano and Slade Hyuuga..."

Cleff's words and speech pattern seemed slightly computerized and monotonous... Very different from the lively, child-like voice and appearance he had a looong time ago...

Soushi was breathing raggedly, and when Datum vanished, something told him that he would be able to rest easy. That was until he looked down at what they were standing on ... well what he was kneeling on, and when he looked up to see someone hovering above his and Slade`s head. The only logical explanation for why the digimon disappeared when this person appeared was that this was their master ... this was Cleff.

Soushi stood and straightened himself out, unsure about what was about to happen. Something told him that it wasn`t gonna be good, but he`d been wrong several times before.

where are we?

*slade would say as he would scan the area with his byakugan. breathing heavly from his encounter with the tankmon.*

Cleff looks down at the two of them with eyes piercing and an expression that didn't seem threatening, yet not friendly at the same time. He had been observing the entire time.

"... You have entertained my Digimon. They have been in need of such entertainment for quite a while, since we have all been abandoned in recent years. Gratitude is given to the two of you."

It didn't seem as though Cleff were that threatening, but Cleff was not attacking anything. He just seemed to want to save... the two from utter destruction.

" Yeah ... no problem. It was interesting at least. "

Soushi said to the guy floating in the sky before he stretched and yawned. It was definitely interesting fighting a digimon ... wait ... Datum said he would tell him more about Digimon when the fight was over and it looked like the fight was over.

" Excuse me, Datum told me when the battle was over that he`d tell me more about his kind. Could you tell me? "

Soushi asked.
