slades ready to rank up

Nirvana could see where he was moving even at such a speed, thus, when he popped up, she merely bent backward and avoided the slash while simultaneously bringing her claws up from the ground, making Slade get caught in the gridlock regardless. He wouldn't be able to move either way it went, for he would be cut if he moved in any fashion.

"..."

She didn't move at the risk of totally obliterating Slade.

*after slade missed nirvana he would see the claws coming up from the ground. he would attempt to sever the the claws. if they weren't cut then it would give him enough leverage to avoid getting tangled in them, and if they were he would continue to trim them till he was safely past them*

When sliced at, Nirvana's claws were not cut, or even harmed, in any way or fashion. In fact, they didn't even take a scratch. She retracted her claws and raised her hands slowly, releasing a powerful hand clap above her head. Such a hand clap ended in a powerful shockwave of pure force from her hands that would be able to shake the air and harm Slade's body if hit with it. It would have the power to literally knock the wind out of him with the vacuum.

*as slade landed he would see her clap*

what is she.... oh shit!

*slade rembered her monsterous strength and signed at an accelerated rate and dove into the ground again to escape the powerful shockwave.*

damn it. i need to get her on the defensive if i'm gonna have a chance of winning this.

*slade thought as he sped towards nervana underground.*

As usual, Nirvana was not going. She dug her fingers into the ground and extended her claws, gripping a large chunk of the ground. Then, when Slade was close, she raised the entire ground in that area, revealing his position and making him open for attack. With the large mass of pure earth above, Nirvana turned it sideways, aimed at Slade, and proceeded to smash the gigantic land mass down upon Slade's area as a whole in attempts to crush his entire being.

*slade would see nirvana dig her claws into the ground again. this time slade went lower under her claws and under her to pull her under ground*

hidden mole jutsu

*slade would pull her deep underground burrowing her, and resurface allowing the earth below him to harden behind him as he arose to the surface seeming to be out of breath*

Unexpectedly pulled underground, Nirvana wouldn't be staying there for very long.

"Fuoco..."

Her fingers stiffened as she started to rotate her arms extremely fast, like drills. The spinning force was enough to break through the earth around her, and she would raise her hands and look for Slade once more, ready to pierce him with her drills. Once she found where he was, she started to drill through to his area at a very high speed.

*feeling the earth shift as she drilled towards him, slade would watch her movements with his byakugan. he would sync his chakra with the earth around him and when she drilled close enough he would cause the area around to shift around her midsection and punch her back to the surface. *

Nirvana was too damn strong to be punched up to the surface by mere earth. In fact, the two arms would clash and Nirvana's Fuoco blessed fingers would drill through with ease. Right afterward, she made her way back up to the surface, eyes gleaming at Slade.

"Vivace..."

Nirvana was pushed forward at Slade with great speed, hands still spinning and drilling like no tomorrow. She aimed for his torso, trying to drill right through it.

*slade knew that his chakra was lower than half so he knew he would have to make these next moves count. he would watch her closely with his byakugan and took a risky move. he would wait till she was almost on top of him and as she was a few inches away slade would accelerate and move out of the way at the last second. while at her side he would strike towards her head with his sword attempting to sever her head from her body.*

Nirvana's body did not have the capacity to be severed or cut, for she was a Nox Nyctores, a special brand of weaponry that was too much for Slade to comprehend. In an insanely quick motion, Nirvana swiveled around and grabbed the sword with one hand, slapping Slade away with the other hand, doing a large amount of damage to him. She would then throw the sword far, faaaaar away from the area, getting it impaled in a tree... deeeeep into a tree. She turned to wherever Slade was right now, and...

"... Con Brio."

She extended her fingers extremely swiftly, trying to impale him wherever he landed and slice him up, just like before.

*as slade flew back his mind began to race. he started to doubt his ability to get stronger. he then rembered his main goal.*

what am i thinking

*slade would snap to his senses and saw the claws coming his way again, this time they were faster than before, but slade knew he had to try to find a way through. his body still in its accelerated state, he would activated his byakugn to try and find a way out of this situation. to his surprise his eyes changed, hey still went white but a red design would spread out from the pupil*



*his body reved up and evaded all of her claws surprisingly. he had no time to dwell in his surprise. he had to finish this fight as fast as he could, cause who knew what the downfall this jutsu would have on him. he quickly scaned his opponent in her entirety looking for a way to defeat her*

Nirvana could sense the up in his power, and thus, aimed to test the true potential of his power... How? With a violent onslaught, that's how. Her fingers retracted as she started to surge with power.

"... Can you feel the emotion? Rhapsody of Memories..."

Nirvana dashed at Slade with the intent to kill, bringing a huge flurry of super fast and twice as strong punches and claw swipes, aiming to just... fuck him up. Her arms were moving so fast that even the Byakugan would have trouble letting Slade keep up, and Nirvana, being an automaton, was not going to slow down or relent. This was the true test of Slade's skill... If he could survive this attack.

*luckly for slade this was no ordinary byakugan. he didn't know it yet but he created a new level to the byakugan. this "Hyper Byakugan" would increase his speed almost 10 fold also it would increase his single strikes by just about as much. its only downside is that it would stamina if he was to use it for too long*

i just need to get in close

*slade would say as his byakugan allowed him to see nirvana's internal strudture. and by studying her fighting technique and her reach slade realised that she is more of an out fighter than an in fighter {boxing terms}. so all he had to do was get past the violent destruction to get to her processor, deffinately easier said than done.*

just close enough to get in three strikes.

*he would ready him self for the worst as he dashed in with blinding speed focusing his chakra into his hands hoping to end it with this last encounter*

Nirvana was definitely still able to see and comprehend all of Slade's movements and such, however the significant increase in power was still rather surprising to her and Cleff, even though Cleff was not in the area. Slade had some potential, it would seem. But even now, he was simply too reckless.

"... And, the finale..."

Without a moment's hesitation, Nirvana's onslaught stopped. She rotated one hand backward, balled it into a fist, and when Slade came as near as he could, she swung up with an uppercut of great power, but nowhere NEAR a fraction of her true strength. The punch would hit the oncoming Slade in his torso, as that was the attack Nirvana was ending this with.

"...Fermata..."

There was silence. Nirvana lowered her hand and fell slightly limp, hunched over. The exam was over. Time to see the outcome of the results...?

*as soon as her furious attack stopped slade knew she had a trick up her sleeve. he would push himself harder going faster his new byakugan allowed him to see her reeling back for the punch. he didn't know if she ment to end it or not. all he was worried about was moving forward*

i must save her. i must...

*a flash of a woman from his past flashed in his mind. as her memory came to him he hesitated. resulting in his apparent defeat.*

There was no doubt about it that the exam was over. Slade was low on power and he had taken the devastating finishing punch of Nirvana. Luckily, she lowered the power so greatly that it wouldn't do any internal damage to him since he had the armor on, and he wouldn't faint from it.

"..."

Just then, Cleff digitized back into the area in the same position he was in before, eying the now overwhelmed Slade.

"... You have much to learn. However, I have finalized your results in this ranking exam..."

There was another silence, as if Cleff were trying to build up suspense, and after a while, he finally gave an answer.

"... Though you were reckless in your attacks, you were resourceful in the face of danger, and that is commendable. Your skills and endurance at this point exceed that of a normal Chuunin and I have confirmed this through your fighting style. However, you have much more work and training to do before you can become great. Congratulations, Slade Hyuuga, you are now a Special Jounin."

*laying on the ground in pain slade couldnt help but smile*

i'm finally one step closer.

*he said as he tried to sit up with some bruised, possibly fractured ribs. he then looked around.*

where's my sword at?

*he then remberd how nirvana flung it deep in the forrest during their fight. he still had his nth daggers and gauntlets, but he was known for his swordwork most of all.*

what a pain. i'll have to get it after i've healed.

*he chuckled to himself only to stop being his ribs weren't healed yet. but his smile remained*

Cleff did not smile, nor did Nirvana. Instead, the two of them turned away from Slade and digitized out of the area. Though, a few moments after they did, Slade's sword would digitize itself in the ground in front of him. After that, Cleff's essence disappeared from the area.

*slade would sit u and grab his sword nd begin to meditatte and sync his chakra with he earth around him to replenish his chakra. after doing do for about an hour slade would sheeth his sword and take off into the air*
